Quickly came to the conclusion that I'd need a reliable setup to charge at home and I created a Yelp project to get some bids. Worley Wiring Electrical was the first to reach out and was very informative and supportive in answering questions without being pushy during our exchanges. We discussed PSE rebates (yes they are an approved PSE contractor!) and they were able to get me on the schedule right away. Kevin Worley was very kind and respectful onsite, and delivered very quality work from start to finish including a great attention to detail when cleaning up. He was happy to answer my questions and even made time to discuss some other future electrical work I am considering. He installed a 50a circuit with an EV 14-50 NEMA outlet in addition to setting up and mounting my level 2 charger for a very tidy and convenient setup exactly where I wanted it. I am very impressed with the conduit work and overall fit/finish of the install. He spent his time helping us find the right hardwood color, brought multiple full-size samples to our house so we could compare everything in our own space, and offered very competitive pricing. His team is also incredibly skilled, they handled some challenging parts of our project, including matching the height of the new hardwood with the existing bathroom tile, and the final result looks seamless. When I sought estimates for this carpet replacement project on Yelp, Hardwood Plus was the first and fastest reply. Erik showed up on time and quickly gathered the information he needed while explaining some of the things that could go wrong, like leveling issues or finding something unexpected beneath the old carpet. He promptly provided a quote, and kept in touch via text message (a huge perk for phone call-averse people like me). When we visited the showroom to pick out the carpet and sheet vinyl pattern, it came as a relief that Erik was not interested in upselling - he'd present options, explain the pros and cons of each, and trusted us to make our own decisions. The first issue occurred on the installation day, when Erik messaged me to say the carpet had not arrived yet. He was apologetic and explained what had happened, but we would still have to wait another week for it to arrive. The second issue occurred after his team removed my old carpet: they found the tiles underneath contained asbestos and needed to be sealed, for an additional cost. This added another day to the sheet vinyl install, but this was a possibility he had mentioned early on. The team also accidentally broke my dryer vent, but Erik agreed to fix it with absolutely no fuss. Finally, there were a few little bubbles in the sheet vinyl I had to push out. But now that it's all done, I am absolutely over the moon with how great my new floor looks, and how delightfully plush the new carpet on the stairs and guest room is!
