Cymplify has always been my favorite study spot in Gainesville. They have some beanbag chairs that are so comfy upfront that I always try to snag. I sometimes stop by just for a coffee or to catch up with a friend. There lots of other seating options and it's in such a cute little center. They even have food trucks out there sometimes. But their coffee is so dang good! They have a great chai tea but almost every time I get a toffee nut and Carmel latte. They get really busy, especially on a Sunday afternoon, so if you're planning to camp out for the day, make sure to get there early. The WiFi can sometimes be funky also. But the employees are all really kind and welcoming. Definitely a great place to stop for a special little coffee treat! read more

What's happened to this place???? Coffee is great but goodness from the first time I came here when they opened until now..... wow! I don't come through here often but purposely drove this way so that I could stop by. It is so run down and the shop next store is closed down. Such a disappointment. And the guys behind the counter were more interested in their conversation than helping the customers. Bummer read more

Yikes. Felt like I was a bother to the guy working. I frequent big island bowls pretty often and have always wanted to try this coffee shop. While waiting for Big Island Bowls to open this morning I decided to walk over. Instant regret. Since it was my first visit I was trying to familiarize myself with the menu and he offered ZERO help so I ended up asking for something close to a cortadito since it wasn't on their menu. The guy just seemed either out of it or just didn't care to be nice. The coffee was ok at best ? It seemed like it would've been a good vibe but it was way off. Not a place I'll try again. read more

This used to be our favorite place to go but lately I don't know what's up with the service/coffee. I went about 2 weeks ago when yeah it was busy so I expected to wait a bit, and ordered 2 coffees. I was asked if I wanted to wait outside and get my drinks from the pick up window or wait inside and I chose to wait outside. 25 minutes later, my drinks were put outside on the window. I get that it was busy in there but 25 minutes for 2 coffees? There's also a been issues with the sweetness of drinks and even one time the barista gave the person I was with an attitude about his request for less maple in his drink. I'll still visit but only order a drink if that particular barista is not making them. read more

just came in and got a peanut butter iced coffee and it had absolutely no flavor in it, not even sweet. :(

CYM is a great spot for coffee, whether you're getting coffee with a friend or trying to study away from campus. Although indoor seating is limited due to COVID, there's still a few tables inside and plenty of outdoor seating. The baristas have all been especially friendly, and the coffee tastes good every time I've gone. Overall, one of the best coffee spots in Gainesville. read more

Stopped here while waiting for the Devil's den. The service was great. They were nice and will do whatever is requested to make your ideal coffee. We ordered the White Chocolate Mocha, Cappuccino, Blueberry Muffin, and Rosemary Lemon Scone. The white chocolate was very delicious. The Blueberry Muffin was huge. The cappuccino will wake you up with its two shots of espresso. The Rosemary Lemon Scone was amazing. Try it with their whip cream. I was even amazed with their signature whip cream. Definitely worth the trip. read more

Cymplify - White Chocolate Mocha and Rosemary Lemon Scone - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Gainesville, Florida

I have been coming to Cym for about 3 years. I think it's the best coffee place in Gainesville. The staff is friendly and funny and many of them I consider friends. The shop isn't fancy, but is very comfortable and has a relaxed feel. I love the porch and outdoor seating which is great for bringing your dog. They have a ton of latte flavors which are all delicious and he baristas care about making a good latte. I like that they use biodegradable materials, too. read more

Great coffee shop with amazing beverages and peaceful atmosphere. However, the WiFi is awful and I would not recommend this place for studying/doing school work. Stop by for a nice cup off coffee and ambiance but avoid it if you need a decent internet connection! read more

Not sure how I'm gonna like the coffee, but waiting more than 20 minutes just won't cut it.

Absolutely fantastic coffee shop with exceptional baked goods. The staff is extremely helpful, quick, and friendly. They have tons of flavors, which I don't normally love but these are actually great! I tried the lavender honey & spiced maple and I couldn't tell you which I liked more since they're not too sweet. The American coffee quality is also superb. Lastly, I had the ham & cheese croissant (outstanding) and the blueberry scone (outstanding). They are so fresh, flaky, & buttery. YUM. Must go. read more

Excellent coffee and service every time! Really enjoy the variety in syrups (& combinations) that lead to their various flavored lattes.

Great coffee and very chill vibes. Sit on a bean bag and drink an excellent latte, or espresso and bask in the character of the gorgeous home that was transformed into this coffee shop. Best local coffee (tied with PattiCakes) read more

This place makes my day. They sell really good coffee and tea. It's the place to be, very local and they are super supportive of the Gainesville area read more

Came back here for ice cream with my kids after a failed first attempt. The person serving the ice cream was very patient and nice. The ice cream was really good! I love the wooden furniture out on the porch. Our visit was very enjoyable. Hopefully I will be back soon. read more

I love that it's a coffee shop in an old house; really charming. There are a ton of flavored, really creative latte options, but not much in the way of pastry items. If you go, go early or on a weekday since seating fills up fast. read more

It was a really great atmosphere. My boyfriend and I both ordered specialty lattes, and it came out to $12 for two 16 oz cups, which was a bit expensive in my opinion. The lattes also both tasted very heavily like cinnamon, although neither of us ordered anything with cinnamon in our drink. The wifi also didn't work on my boyfriend's computer, though I had no issue connecting. Super cute atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff. Definitely worth visiting! read more

Great coffee and atmosphere. Delicious drip and lots of fun latte options. Try the swinging bench on the front porch.

The atmosphere is very comfortable and good location. My only complaint is one of the baristas seemed a bit forward. I wanted an iced americano and he tried to convince me to get another drink because he didn't prefer iced americanos. But overall, good experience. read more

hands down, gainesville's best coffee shop. I love the openness of the floor plan and all the windows (great lighting and never feels crowded). Maybe not the fastest service, but all the baristas are super friendly and attentive to your beverage needs. On certain days, a grilled cheese food truck is parked outside in the parking lot (also highly recommended). When the weather's nice, the seating capacity almost doubles with all the picnic benches and outdoor tables. read more

After coming from the coffee capital, Seattle, I can safely say this coffee shop makes far better coffee than Starbucks and several coffee shops in downtown Seattle. The place is nice, but I had a hard time finding it the very first time I visited it. The only down side is no latte art :( 9/10 will comeback for another round read more

Went there for the first time today. The store is nicely decorated and super clean. The employees working were friendly and seemed happy to be there. I tried the mint mocha and it was delicious. I'll definitely be going back to try some of there other drinks. read more

Sad because it was a nice environment until I discovered fleas in my apartment, car, and staying up all night because of exams and the fact that they were biting the crap out of me! The Cat has fleas and bean bag chair too! Carful where you sit! read more

Very cool coffee shop. It is an old house, so there is seating in several rooms and on the porch. Free Wi-Fi is great. My husband went here two days in a row to work on his PhD when we were in town for a wedding. The coffee was tasty and the barista was friendly. read more

Amazing Lattes....but I think what makes this place is the excellent personalities of the staff. Great atmosphere.

Got the iced latte with soy. It was good just overpriced in my opinion. The atmosphere is nice but there is definitely not a lot of seating. I would not go here with a group of more than 4 people. I personally prefer Volta as this one seems to favor the flavored drinks. I think they are worth a try if you're into that. read more

Cymplify is absolutely the greatest!! We travel over an hour just to visit the store and coffee house. The staff is awesome. Its such a great spot to spend a nice relaxing afternoon!! Can't wait to get back up to Gainesville and visit again. Been a huge fan of Sister Hazel for a long time. Cymplify is a great representation of what this band is all about. read more

Great coffee, cool vibe, and friendly service. In a town full of excellent coffee options it can be easy to miss this one. Tucked off of Newberry Rd by the Cymplify market, I drove past it for months before stopping by. There is plenty of indoor our outdoor seating. Walk next door to check out Cymplify while you are there. read more

Coffee was OK. One of the baristas was in an aggressively unhelpful way. Not in a huge hurry to return.

This by far has had the best 'coffee shop' vibe in Gainesville. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate and then wine and beer and live music for later in the night. Its a good combo; just wish the quality of the food had been better. Staff were very friendly and relaxed. read more

Perfect place to study or read or hang out with friends! love all the different coffee options and smoothie flavors as well!

My favorite place to grab coffee in town. Plenty of seats in the cafe and outside, yummy pastries & bagels, and a pretty extensive drink menu. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. I love coming here! read more

Incredible Cold Brew! Great location and easy to find. Staff was incredibly nice and even allowed you to sample the cold brew before you try it! Never had that before. read more

The coffee and the espresso here are first rate. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

I am in love this place!! The atmosphere is cozy and laid back. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beverages are delicious. This is probably the most perfect coffee shop in Gainesville. read more

Out of town again and in need of caffeine:-) Over the past few years at home a local coffee shop has been pulling me away from my regular Starbucks. So I've been open to trying new local shops around .. Opened yelp.. this was one of the first places to pop up.. Super cute place looks like a little house. It's in a little plaza.. Also really cute Staff was really friendly one of the girls recommend a hazel nut mocha.. It was awesome....! I've found my new coffee shop when visiting Gainesville read more

This coffee shop is absolutely phenomenal! They have a slew of creative lattes that all taste delicious. Their drinks aren't overly sweet so you can still appreciate the great coffee underneath the added flavors. The ambiance is perfect for casual meet-ups or long study sessions. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely try the cinnamon honey latte! read more

The coffee here is definitely the best in a town of not-so-great coffee. I got an almond milk cappuccino and I was pretty satisfied with it, and I'm pretty picky about coffee. It's expensive though. My rule is better coffee than Starbucks, and cheaper than Starbucks. CYM sadly only satisfied one of those. read more

Exactly what I want in a coffee shop as far as atmosphere goes! Great coffee and pastries as well. I will be back!

Support the local community by trying some great food made with locally grown ingredients. The menu is limited but they are worth trying and the atmosphere is great. Last night they were serving pizza and we had a broccoli chicken cheddar pizza with handmade sourdough crust and it was amazing. We had beers also and can't wait to come back when there is live music. After dinner we had ice cream next door and they had an awesome collection of flavors to choose from. Over all this was a great experience and I can't wait to go back when they are having live music. read more
