Such a cute, eclectic little coffee shop! It's tucked into a somewhat rundown shopping center, but don't let that fool you--this place is a gem. The space is cozy with lots of plants, fun gifts to browse, and a few tables both inside and outside. They have a wide variety of coffee options, including seasonal drinks. My latte was fantastic--great flavor, not overly sweet, and made with local honey, which really set it apart. The staff was super friendly and clearly knowledgeable about coffee. I went here on a whim! Heard great things and I wanted some iced coffee so decided to check it out! I got the caramel cloud cold brew and it was Felicia. They ran out of iced drink cups so mine was in a hot drink cup but it was delicious. Love that they had trinkets and plants in the store! Such a cute place to look around and buy little gifts. I came on a Sunday afternoon and ordered a banana bread oatmilk matcha but instead after waiting 25-30 minutes I was given an latte instead. I just took it without saying anything since they were swamped with orders. It was ok but nothing amazing. If you like overly sweet "coffee" then sure it's nice but there was no coffee aftertaste. It just tasted like a smoothie/ sweet treat . I was expecting to have some coffee taste but it was non existent. For $8 I was a little upset but went about my day. I've had far better iced coffee for less. At 7brew you can get iced coffee for $5-6 and it's balanced. Not sure if to give them a try when it's not as packed. read more

This is a very unique hidden coffee shop in Gainesville. They have interesting mini gifts. There are scented candles, gemstones, books and arts. You would never get bored visiting this place. This place has such a cozy, vintage vibe--think "cottagecore meets curated boutique." I wasn't greeted when I came in, which made the space feel a bit cold at first, despite the warm decor. That said, the store itself is adorable and thoughtfully styled. Everything here feels high quality, from the decor to the clothing and home goods. Prices reflect that, so don't come expecting thrift store deals--but for what you're getting, the cost makes sense. The vintage book corner was a hidden gem. I was surprised at how reasonably priced the books were, especially given the quality and condition. I even found a few Florida-specific titles and one written by a UF professor in the 70s--such a cool local touch! I didn't get a chance to try the coffee this time, but I'll definitely be back to check it out. A lovely spot to browse and maybe treat yourself to something special. read more

This is by far my favorite coffee shop in town! I am always on the hunt for inventive lattes, and 108 Vine's seasonal menus never disappoint. Their housemade syrups really make their lattes rise above the rest. From the banana bread latte to the Coquito latte, I've never had a drink here that I didn't like. One of the best parts is the cold foam, which you can get in several different flavors, depending on what syrups they have on hand. The baristas are always so friendly, too. I can't resist stopping in on an almost weekly basis for my coffee fix, and it's always fun to browse the plants and trinkets in the shop while waiting for my order. I only wish there were more places to hang out, both inside and outside, as it's currently more of a grab-and-go setup. read more

I have been wanting to try this place for a while now and finally got my hands on a matcha this lovely Saturday afternoon. Walking in, you are greeted by a variety of plants and trinkets. After looking over the menu, I wanted to get an iced matcha latte with a fall flavor, so I went with the maple rosemary. My drink came out to $7.75. While I waited for my drink, I walked around Plantstay and checked out some of the amazing house plants and plants they offer. Also, they had some cute gifts for friends and family. At first sip, the iced matcha latte was very maple forward. I had to get another sip to search for the rosemary flavor. It's very subtle and almost wish there was more of it to compliment the earthy flavor of the matcha. However, I did like the drink as I love maple flavored items. Next time, I would like to try their other syrups like carrot cake or vanilla walnut. Also, their syrups are gluten free and vegan! read more

Stunning shop, locally owned. This is absolutely my go-to for local gifts, they have everything from cards to candles to stickers, journals and even super cute kitchen towels! Even without a purpose, this is one of my top suggestions for out of town guests for poking around or a nice cup of coffee! If you are looking for a nice cup of coffee too, this is the place to try! I personally love their cafe con leche but hear their banana matcha latte is the bees knees - I'm saving that for my next visit! This is a great coffee spot in Gainesville! Super yummy lattes and different flavors. They had a seasonal coquito latte during winter that I have not stopped thinking about. The tiramisu latte is also super yummy but very sweet so it's more of a dessert drink in my opinion. There is very little seating so it's definitely not a go-to place for me to study, but I love swinging by and grabbing a little drink. The price is a little bit jolting for a coffee, but alas, I am still drawn in by their cute plants and yummy creations. Employees are also very nice! read more

I've been here multiple times and I love looking at the weird or cute trinkets that make excellent gifts for when you want something less generic. Their coffee is great too I know they take great care in how they make it and when I go in I understand too that it's an order coffee and look around idea because it's not quick service. This little place is a gem and I highly recommend their coffee. They always have great specials and you can browse locally sourced products while you wait. My husband and I were checking out local plant stores in Gainesville and came across 108 vine. The plant store next door highly recommended them, so we stopped in. Cute shop with great coffee. My girlfriend and I came into this place really wanting to enjoy a coffee and walk around and look at all of the cute things and trinkets in the store. The aesthetic was right up our alley. However, not all goes to plan. 11 AM on a Saturday and there were only two people working behind the bar, one chatting with a presumable customer, and another, just cutting bagels, for God knows what reason; because my girlfriend and I were the only other two people going to order anything in the store. I am just very disappointed, because I wanted to switch up our Starbucks routine for once and get something local. I can't say if it was good or not, but my experience wasn't, I wish we could've tried, but just 2 of us waiting in the line for about 20 minutes was too long.
