Super impressed with Abel and his boys. They were courteous, honest and helpful. They helped my elderly mother with an electrical issue. They charged for what was needed. They spent a lot of time trying to find a solution for the problem. I will gladly choose and recommend them for future jobs. They were sincere and did the right thing. Sometimes you have to worry about being taken advantage of and this was not the case with Abel and his boys. They were quick and stayed to help until late on a Saturday night. read more

I had an emergency with a cut wire that goes to my pool pump, Abel came to remedy the problem quickly and at a great rate! A few months later, I noticed there was a problem with the pump and I called him back to ask if he can check it out. This time he came as soon as he could ( he had other jobs) and solved the problem Update: my electrical box went out again turns out the wires fused together. Had to hire someone to re route and fix the issue for $600 read more

I have a chocolate factory and needed help on a Saturday night! This guy came through and did such a great job. We had an issue that required follow up and he accepted to come back and follow through with the project. He didn't ask me for payment until the job was seen through and my machine was working! Best electrician! Appreciate your help Abel! read more

I was very impressed with the job Abel did, rewiring my house. He also changed up the lighting in my kitchen and replaced some outlets in my bathrooms. Abel is very professional and I highly recommend Cyclops Electric. read more

We hired Abel because portions of our house would intermittently stop having power. We tried power cycling the main circuit breaker. In the past, power cycling fixes the outage issue. However, this morning, power cycling did NOT fix the issue. Portions of the house, most importantly my office, was out of power. I am working from home, and power is crucial. Southern California Edison's technician said that we may have to replace the main circuit breaker. What I like about Abel is that he did not tried to sell us a replacement main circuit breaker unit. The other guys gave me a quote to replace the entire main circuit breaker, without telling me why. Abel suggested we that may need to replace the main circuit breaker, and that what we did. Abel said that the root issue may be caused by bad wiring somewhere in one of our kitchen outlet. I am a computer technician. I try to find the root problem. I don't just tell people they need to buy a new computer. Therefore, I appreciate Abel in that he was attempting to, and may have, found the root cause - bad wiring inside the house. read more

AMAZING KNOWLEDGABLE HONEST HARD WORKERS! Abel and his brother were super friendly and extremely helpful with what it seemed my never ending electrical issues in my house. Highly recommend and will use again if needed. THANK YOU! read more

Able is just a all around good dude. I asked him to do some electric work for me a certain way and he would NOT do it because it wasn't by code. You gotta respect a contractor like that. I had no idea it wasn't code be he did. It cost more money because it was done by code but who wants their kids to get shocked or have their house burn down because some electrician wants to cut corners. Thanks Able. By the way, he upgraded my panel to a 200 amp and it looks clean read more

Able and his team did an excellent job. They were friendly and respectful, cleaned up the mess and made sure everything worked perfectly before they left. I will definitely call on Cyclops Electric again when needed. Thanks Able. read more

Had an electrical cord burn out that was connected on an old RV which was used daily so it was an emergency. Called Cyclops Electric and Abel the owner answered. I explained the situation and he said it should be no problem and he could head over that day. He came and fixed the issue in less than 15 minutes!! He even gave me a great deal. Highly recommend, thanks Abel! This was a couple weeks ago, it took me a bit to get to the review but this guy deserves the 5 stars! read more

Called around 7:30 to request service ASAP. Had a few rooms that had lights that went out and tried everything to fix it myself. Left a message and received a call back shortly after. They arrived around 9:30 pm and was able to fix the issue in a short amount of time. Price was reasonable especially for doing a house call at this time of the night. Will definitely use again. read more

Abel scheduled an appointment for a free estimate quickly and arrived within the time quoted. (Two other electrical services were "no show") He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave a very fair bid. The work was completed the same day and we have had no further trouble. I highly recommend this company for quality, accuracy and reliability! read more

I hired Abel twice. The first job went well but the second time I hired him he left me high and dry. I hired him to remove some wiring from a wall i was removing. In doing so, he left the entire half of my living room without power. He said once the wall was removed he would come back to reconnect the power. I called him multiple times over a period of maybe 2 months. On 5 occasions, we would agree on a time and he would not show up. No reason given, no phone call. Eventually he just stopped responding to calls and texts. It is as if he felt no responsibility. In the end, I had to hire another electrician to fix a problem he created which was an additional cost to me since he never completed his job. He's lost any future business with me due to his unprofessional behavior. read more

I was VERY disappointment with this electric company. I called them because they are licensed and showed 4 1/2 stars with good reviews. I called this morning at 8:30 am and left my husband's cell number. NO RESPONSE. I called again at 9:30 am and left message to call my hubby and left his cell number. NO RESPONSE. I left them a text stating I had left two messages with no response. At 10 am I called STEVEN J CLAIRMONT ELECTRIC with 5 stars. They answered on the first ring and said they would be by in 2 hrs. They were here in 2 hrs, fixed our problems, and will come back tomorrow morning to fix our wish list of installing a new outlet in our kitchen wall! They were sooo pleasant the price was fair!! They left and as of now......NO RESPONSE from Cyclops. NOT A WAY TO DO BUSINESS!!! read more

Abel came to the rescue at 10pm at night. Our circuit breaker broke and he was able to fix it very quickly, at a very reasonable rate. You can tell he's a stand-up guy just by interacting with him. I will be contacting him for all my electrical repairs and modification needs. Thanks Abel! read more

No Show! made an appointment a week in advance. he did not show up nor call me to let me know whats up. If you are not going to show up, at least you should let me know. So that I can hire someone else. Irresponsible! Update: After a few calls, he finally showed up 4.5hr passed the appointment time. The price he quoted seemed fair, so I let him start the job right away. While he was working on a ladder, he dropped a huge saw on my brand new hardwood floor, causing slight damage. I am definitely not happy about that. Out of curiosity, I checked his license number online and found out that his license actually expired 2 weeks ago. According to Contractor State License Board, Any work performed while the license is expired is considered to be unlicensed and disciplinary action can be taken against you. read more

Hired Cyclop Electric to bring my garage up to code after buying home in 2011. The guy came out and quoted me also show valid license and permit. I got three other quotes he was reasonably priced so I gave him a try. Garage is up to code everything looks excellent. I recently hired them for recessed lighting for my hallways and master bedroom again they did a great job. I strongly recommended this electrician to anyone needing work. Abel is honest and price is always reasonable compared to others. His workmanship is excellent. read more
