Primo was the third company we reached out to for estimates and we chose them off of good vibes and competitive prices. I'm grateful for it. These guys are solid, honest people and won't recommend things you don't need. In fact, if you have a wild idea for something that is unnecessary or costly, they'll tell you up front so you know in advance. In addition to doing things the right way, they're respectful. I've chatted with a few companies about various house projects and David and Jesse treated me (a woman) like my input matters just as much as my husband's. It signals competence, excellence, and professionalism when, even though I say "my husband is the boss," a contractor checks with me just in case. And, it prevents arguments down the road. We've rehired Primo for light fixture swaps, outlet adds, new switch fixtures, and we plan to hire them for our upcoming upgrades because they're all around good people who do good work. Emanuel got back to me right away and was able to come out quickly and quoted a reasonable price for the repair. After he came out and removed the main panel cover, it was discovered that unfortunately the entire panel needed to be replaced. Since we were in the midst of a heatwave, I decided to have Emanuel just move forward with the job without bidding it out. If he wasn't gouging on the original breaker repair, I was confident he was charging me a competitive price on the panel replacement. Emanuel worked tirelessly for 3 days and corrected my Tesla charging station as well which apparently wasn't installed to code previously. It was also discovered that one of my electrical receptacles wasn't working-- likely an undiscovered, unrelated issue. Knowing that I initially called for what I thought was a small repair that ended up being something major, he replaced the receptacle for me in goodwill. Emanuel's a good dude and delivers what he promises. The panel came with a 5 year parts and labor warranty. Highly recommended.

While it sounds simple, it was a hard task to find the transformer since it's not ever located in a standard place. We ended up not finding it to no fault of his. Throughout the process he talked through his thoughts and really demonstrated his master electrician knowledge and problem solving capabilities. We settled on installing a new transformer in our garage that would be easy to get to and be the least amount of damage to run the wires. Chris was a pleasure to work with. Pricing was fair. Chris was incredibly responsive from the start, answered all my questions quickly, and provided the best rates by far after I contacted at least five other electricians in my area. He and his apprentice were able to run a dedicated line from our subpanel in the garage right outside to the sauna. They also installed the heater and temperature sensor (this is highly recommended by the heater companies! Don't install these without professional help!) The work was completed professionally, efficiently, and with great attention to detail. It took them a few hours but they finished it the same day.
