I had a pretty daunting project. I needed to upgrade the electrical in my detached garage to support some new pool equipment that required more power. I needed to install a 100 amp subpanel in my detached garage with a 75 feet trench. There was previously an existing overhead wire that was dangerously low certainly not to code and I needed an electrician to help solve this problem. I requested quotes on yelp and Jay from JMJP Electric was the first to respond to my request and also first to drop by my house for a site evaluation to give me a quote. I was budget conscious so I shopped for about a week and decided to go with Jay because he was responsive, friendly, and transparent with pricing. He completed the project in 2 days with a team of 3 total guys who even stayed into the evening to get the project done. He understood that I had a pool pump installation coming the next day so the work had to be completed that day. After I had trouble scheduling an electrician that was recommended to me, I reached out to Jay and JMJP Electric here on Yelp and they came the same day to look at the wiring to my pool pump which recently went out. After they diagnosed the issue, they realized the original wiring to the both the pool pump and heater was not done correctly. By this time it was about 5pm on a Friday and although they usually do not work on weekend Jay came back out Saturday at 8am and ran the new wires from the breaker to the complete opposite side of the house and now the pool pump and heater work PERFECTLY! I needed some extra lighting on the outside of the house. JMJP cam in and re-wired some faulty wiring a previous company had done for me and put 3 light up. Two motion sensor lights and one light stays on all night. Jay personally came in along with his team which shows he has care & pride into his craft ! The work was quick and efficient . I was dreading an ordeal when i suddenly lost power in my attic and garage. A different electrical company came out and looked at my fuse box, couldn't identify an immediate issue, so then left. They wanted me to sign a big work order that they warned might have cost thousands to get me up and running again. So I stalled a few weeks, using a series of extension cords to run my laundry and AC while I saved money.
