Very Good Service! I tried splicing into an existing electrical line in the attic to add a series of lights, but things were just not working. After several different attempts, I finally decided to call an electrician. I found Jordan Electric on Yelp and they had good reviews. I called and Amer immediately answered. I explained my problem and where I was located. He said he had an electrician close to me and would notify him. The electrician, Raffi, called me within the hour and said he could come by later in the afternoon. He arrived on time, listened to my issues, and immediately jumped on it. He had to do some rewiring in the attic but also had to do some troubleshooting. He found that the problem was related to the wiring in a wall outlet. He explained to me what the problem was and told me what he could do to fix it. He fixed all the problems and got everything up and running to my relief and satisfaction. It was refreshing to have someone answer the phone and to come out on the same day! I had actually called two other businesses who did not answer and still never called back. Jordan Electric did a great job. read more

This gentleman came to my house for almost an hour to assess the work I wanted done, he advised he would be in touch with a quote. The quote never came, he never called me. I have reached out to him twice with no response. read more

Called about 8 am, got Mister Alshoushi on the line, told him what was up (lost power to part of our very old Duarte farmhouse), he said he'd be here a bit after 9. He was, he found the problem, fixed it and then took a couple of photos of our house telling me that his wife and daughter loved old houses. Friendly service, fixed the problem quickly, fair price. Recommend Jordan Electric? You bet! read more

Contacted him for installation of electric car charger. We exchanged correspondence for a few days. Amer bailed on his appointments twice with no follow up. I was recommended by his old customer. So, I told my friend about this and they were disappointed as well. Completely unreliable. I don't know why he can't just say no so I don't have to waste my time waiting for him to come to my house. read more

Amer and his associate did a professional job. Everything he said he would do happened just like he promised. He installed a 220V service for a new dryer. He was honest, knowledgeable and wore a mask the whole time. I could not ask for anything more and would refer him to anyone looking for a prompt electrician who knows exactly what to do. read more

We had our power go out late at night and our Nextdoor Neighbor app recommended Jordon Electric. I called and to my surprise Amir came to my house within 20 minutes, well after normal working hours. He fixed the problem in minutes and said no charge because it was so small but to keep him in mind for any future needs. We decided to install recess lights and used Jordon Electric. Amir and his crew do beautiful work at extremely reasonable prices. We couldn't be happier with our recessed lighting and smart switches. Anything electrical, we will definitely use Jordon Electric again. Thanks Amir! read more

I'm super impressed! My dryer started burning my clothes. Warranty company told me vent might be blocked and to call an electrician. I called and spoke to Amer. He told me even though this isn't an electricians job, he was more than willing to stop by and tell me what he thought the problem was. Stopped by, checked all the vents and wiring on dryer and didn't even charge. Who does this? Love super honest companies like this and will definitely be a repeat customer when I need electrical work. Thank you!! read more

We had a new washer-dryer delivered and the installer was electrocuted on our old 220-volt outlet. We were referred to Amir by our plumber; he came out same day and replaced it for a fair price and did the job quickly. He was pleasant, honest, and even attached our dryer vent when he finished so we could test the machine. I was so grateful that he was able to help us and made it affordable and worry-free. I would definitely call him again. read more

Amer Jordan - a man of his word. When I lost partial power in my home one day before I was expecting 40 guests, he promised he would restore full power, and he did. Initially, in desperation I was a bit aggressive and demanding with him, for this I am regretful. Amer is nothing but kind, professional, thorough and honest. Reasonably priced, too. I highly recommend him. read more

Amer at Jordan Electric is fantastic. I had an issue with no power to a few outlets in my kitchen. I called Jordan Electric late at night about the issue and he answered. A few years ago we purchased a home in Duarte that had a few electrical oddities to say the least. I read about Amir and Jordan Electric on another social website. I decided to give him a call due to the honesty of the review and him being a local guy. I also called a few more electricians for the same jobs. I selected Amir to do the job due to his honesty and fair pricing. I was not at all disappointed. I had to work the day he and his assistant installed 9 canned lighting fixtures, an attic fan, motion detectors and a ceiling fan in my office while my wife was at the home. She commented how respectful he was and clean the job was done. Since then he returned to adjust the motion detectors and we also added a dimmer to one of the ceiling units. I will only call him for electrical jobs and hope you do too. read more

My outlets in the bathrooms and kitchen weren't working so I went on yelp and based on the reviews I chose Jordan Electric. Spoke with Mr. Amir & he came as promised - on a Sunday and also Mother's Day! He was able to figure out what the problem was even after being zapped trying to find it. It cost me a penny but it was all worth it and Mr. Amir fixed everything and tried to explain what the problem was even if he saw in my face that I wasn't really getting most what he was saying . Bottom line, I'm keeping Mr. Amir's business card and will definitely call him for future electrical booboos. And did I say he's such a nice man? read more

Mr. Amer is very honest and professional. I contacted him because the exterior lighting for my home was not working properly. I called several electricians and they never came because it was a small job. I found Mr. Amer on google and he came to fix it on the same afternoon that I contacted him. He told me that I did not have to pay him until I was sure it worked properly. It worked I initially, but two weeks later, the light wasn't working again. So I went ahead and bought a new fixture. I called Mr. Amer and he came to install the unit. He waived the cost that I paid two weeks ago. The light works great. read more

I recommend Amir and Jose. They were available to come out within a few hours and help replace a breaker and identify what the problem was in our Christmas lights. They checked all the strands of lights until they found where the short was. $75 for a service call was a good rate and our christmas lights are now up and running and our power to our house. Also Amir took the time to show me everything they were doing and show me how the breakers work, so helpful and great service. read more

I contacted Amer to replace an outlet and also deal with a recessed lighting issue. He was able to fit me in his schedule and showed up with his associate. I was looking for an electrician to wire and install my video doorbell. I called Amer and he responded right away. He was very professional over the phone and patiently listened to the description of my electrical issue. We scheduled an appointment on the next business day however, because I was able to find someone to complete the job earlier, I was not able to work with Jordan electric. It is without hesitation that I would contact them again in the future because my first impression was so great! read more

Great service, strong trouble shooting skills & reasonable price. We will definitely call Amir again.

I have high expectations and shopped around after I purchased wireless surveillance cameras to install at my home. I reached out to 10 different places and picked Amer because his reliability, attention to detail and responsiveness. He was not the cheapest as his quote came in a little higher than other bids. However what sold me was that he was able to come in to do the work the very next day. I appreciated that he shifted around his schedule to do it , made it worth it to me. He patched up all the holes & cleaned everything up afterwards like nothing ever happened. So I would go with him if you are considering any electrical work. He's quality versus going cheap and ending up with something you regret later. read more

Nice man... very competent electrician, but very expensive. I guess you get what you pay for many times.

Amer was thoughtful and thorough. He went the extra mile to solve my electrical problems with as little interruption as possible.

Used them on a couple projects, extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Will absolutely call for future projects.

I have been using Jordan Electric for the past 15 years and have been thoroughly pleased with the work that they do. On two occasions when large jobs have needed to be done, I have given the house key to Amer, the owner, so that the work could be done while I was away. I trust him that much. What more can I say? Amer does excellent work, I trust him completely, and his prices are fair. Julia in Pasadena, CA read more
