Peter was amazing to work with. He came out to work on the electrical panel and was able to diagnose the main issue and suggest a proper fix to avoid disaster in the future. I highly recommend Peter's services. He installed a new EV charger for me, but it turned out that my car had a faulty ICCU which prevented it from charging. Peter very generously declined to accept payment until my car's ICCU was fixed and the new charger would work as expected. Once my car's ICCU was fixed, he came over to finish up the remaining work. Peter's attitude and competency are both great. Perfect score from me. Thank you, Peter and Spark Masters, for your fantastic services! read more

From day one, his diligence and outstanding communication stood out. He kept us informed at every stage, listened carefully, and went beyond expectations by suggesting smart improvements--like adding much-needed outlets we hadn't considered. He coordinated well with his team, and oversaw the city inspection. He doesn't just do the job; he ensures his clients are completely satisfied every step of the way. read more

The electric in my kid's bathroom was acting funky. I figured I needed to call an electrician or an exorcist. Put the word out on Yelp re: my project and Peter responded quickly with a very competitive bid for a diagnostic visit. I chose him bc he was available within two days, and he didn't pretend he knew what the issue was until he could come out and see the problem for himself. The diagnostic visit was under an hour, and he promised to be back the next day to fix the issue. Saying, "No. Don't pay me today. Pay me after it's fixed." True to his word, Peter showed up punctually today (with his brother, George) and he fixed the problem handily - explaining the issues in as great or little detail as I wanted. At my request (and free of charge), he also double checked a switch I had replaced in my kitchen, just to make sure I'd done it correctly and used the proper gauge switch. (I did!) Peter and George were on time, professional, neat and tidy (they brought their own vacuum to clean up after themselves, and wear booties in the house), honest and efficient. Highly recommend! Thanks for your great work, guys! read more

My husband and I were considering to install a level 2 charging station in our townhome. We came across Spark Masters on Yelp with 5 star reviews who is located close to our residence. Spoke with Peter, he asked if we have our own garage and a couple of questions. He sounded very friendly so I asked if he could stop by in person to check out our set up and provide us with more information on how the whole installation is done as we have no idea. Peter did not hesitate and came by within 2 hours from the time we spoke. Peter arrived on time and he spoke to my husband briefly and asked to see our townhome electric meter reading to find out if our existing ampere can support a level 2 charging station. It turns out that our existing household electrical system does not support it. We were very happy to meet Peter. All the positive reviews about Peter on Yelp is REALLY VERY TRUE! Peter is punctual, honest, friendly, very patient in explaining the details to us so we learn and understood. He mentioned that above all things, CUSTOMER SERVICE is his top priority in doing business. We will no doubt contact him for any future electrical needs. read more

Sparkmasters Inc. is led by a great owner in Peter Paymani who seeks to provide top tier service and his team certainly delivers consistently. I got various quotes for a long list of items that needed to be repaired or added to a new home I recently purchased. Not only was Sparkmasters very competitive in their pricing, they also provided reassurance in their dedication to providing top tier service which supported all of the great reviews online. Personally, I tend to meet the vendors, or at a minimum chat with them, before hiring them for any matter to get a vibe of who they are and how they manage projects. From the onset I found Peter to be very pleasant and open to any idea I had while providing his professional opinion from the years of experience he carries to guide you in the right direction. This led to a wonderful experience throughout the project which lasted weeks and included multiple changes along the way. His team was always open to change and were able to seamlessly navigate through changes in provide excellent service and output. For some perspective, following is a list of some of the items that worked on for my project: 1. Removed old wiring in attic that was identified as a hazard during a general inspection 2. Traced all wiring to the circuit breaker panel and labeled it accordingly 3. Installed a new grounding for the entire house to get it up to code 4. Installed a 100 amp sub panel in the detached garage which included sub-terranean wiring from the house to the garage 5. Installed Ring security that included a door bell, 3 flood light cameras and a motion sensor flood light 6. Installed 3 outdoor outlets...with color schemes that matched the home 7. Installed 3 outdoor lights 8. Installed 22 recessed lights in the home 9. Installed multiple indoor outlets and wiring for an entertainment system that was above and around the fireplace 10. Installed new lighting indoors 11. Installed 8 smart light switches And the list goes on.... As mentioned, it was a large project that took multiple weeks with various changes...all the while his team executed with top tier service. I've already recommended Sparkmasters to my family and friends and would recommend him to anyone that has electrical matters to be taken care of by a true professional team. I can't think of anything that would preclude me from giving Sparkmasters 5 stars. Simply a great company that provides fantastic service! Thank you, Peter and team! You've made our new home a wonderful place to live. read more

10/10!  Highly recommend!  We had a fantastic experience working with Aryan and his team from the initial estimate all the way through to project completion (panel upgrade, EV charger installation, outlet changes).  Based on the many positive reviews online, we had full confidence and peace of mind going with Spark Masters and they still exceeded expectations.  The team consistently demonstrated a high level of knowledge, skill, and expertise which enabled them to execute tasks efficiently and troubleshoot any issues that arose with creative solutions to get the desired results.  Furthermore, they were always prompt, courteous, and communicated well, taking the time to explain things and provide status updates as needed.  The whole process was designed to minimize disruptions, which we appreciated being in the house all day, and to top it off they were very reasonably priced and able to fit us into their busy schedule earlier than expected. Spark Masters is simply the best and we plan to use them for our future electrical needs (and you should, too)! read more

I have to say I feel like I've met my Electrician for life! I had a rather large project. I had to move my house's service panel from one side of the house to the other. I met with 4 electricians, 3 from yelp and one as a referral from a friend. Peter was head and shoulders better than the rest. Here are the things that set him apart: 1) Punctual and professional; he was on time, he explained everything clearly and in terms I understood. 2) Honesty and Integrity. He didn't try to low ball his quote. He told me exactly what he was going to do and he did it. 3) Hard working and knowledgeable: He finished a very complicated project and it passed city inspection!! yeah! Finally, Peter was kind enough to fix a couple of things around the house at no cost. I am very glad to have met him and will call on him every time I need anything. read more

Five stars all the way through. Needed a NEMA 14-50 interface in my garage. Started searching on Yelp and so I contacted Peter based on all the positive reviews. I emailed him on a Saturday night and he immediately responded with an estimate and explained the work that had to be done. I also contacted all the other electricians on Yelp with high positive reviews. By far, Spark Masters had the most prompt response, comprehensive explanation and best price. The very next day I made an appointment with Peter in the morning and he was able to come later that afternoon on a Sunday. He was on-time and very friendly. He explained thoroughly of my options with pros and cons. After a couple of hours, my NEMA 14-50 was up and running! My car is now charging fast at level 2 and I couldn't be happier with his overall work. Aside from the electrician work, he did a great job of patching the wall after everything was said and done. Thanks again to Peter and the next time our family need an electrician, we will definitely use Spark Masters again. read more

Peter, Aryan, and the rest of the Spark Masters crew are outstanding professionals and the most courteous and empathetic contractors that my wife and I have worked with. After a home inspector revealed that our home had knob and tube wiring, we set out to find an electrician who could do a rewire. Understandably, we had to wait a couple months before a job of this size could begin, but it was entirely worth it. We have a small child and also lived & worked in the home during the majority of the project. Given this, Spark Masters made sure to thoroughly clean up their work area each day. They worked with us around nap schedules, daycare issues, and other life challenges which we are so thankful for. Even power interruptions were kept to a minimum as to limit the impact on our remote work schedules! Since the rewire involved making lots of cuts in our walls (which they did a great job keeping small and straightforward for the patcher to handle later), we took the opportunity to hire a low voltage contractor to do a home networking project. Spark Masters made it very easy for everyone to work together such that both jobs got done at the same time without issue. We really appreciated how communicative Spark Masters were throughout. We could rely on them to keep us informed and allow us to make decisions when needed if something unexpected came up. Thanks Spark Masters; you're who we'll be calling should we have any more electrical projects in the future. If only you were plumbers too! :-) read more

We had no idea how big a scope our EV charger project was going to be. We wanted to install the charger inside our detached garage about 50 ft away from the main panel. After speaking with several electricians, I realized it was not a small job, and it would cost several times more than we had first guessed. Problem was, all the electricians I spoke with had different opinions on what material to use, what needed to be done with very different prices. I ended up getting quoted by almost 10 electricians, from big box ones to smaller companies, all had great reviews. That alone took a lot of work but it was worth the effort because I found myself a trustworthy electrician. I hope that also lends some credence to my review as I did plenty of research and careful comparisons. First, Spark Masters is priced competitively. They'll give you separate pricing for material and labor. They'll frequently update you the current market price for each material used (pipes, wire etc) to let you know that everything is priced clearly and fairly. They're willing to listen and work with your plans. Some other electricians weren't really willing to work with my proposal because some wanted to add extra stuff to ensure an easy inspection while having the opportunity to make more money. Others tried to convince me to settle for a more conservative setup that wasn't really meeting my expectations. Spark Masters was the only one experienced and honest enough to know my proposal would pass inspection without having to upgrade anything that wasn't necessary. Finally, they're very friendly and easy to work with. Peter, the contractor, and rest of the crew are really courteous and knowledgeable. He doesn't come off as greasy or predatory like some others I spoke with. They did a bunch of extra stuff for me when I asked. They cleaned up thoroughly before leaving at the end of the day. They were also very accommodating to our schedule which I was really grateful for. Overall, I'm really glad Spark Masters made a seemingly daunting project as smooth and easy as it was. It's an amazing feeling seeing the devices come up and running for the first time after all the work that was put into it. It was quite the magical experience. I was happy with the end-product and price. The inspection passed the first time without issue. And I felt like I made a good friend. I don't usually write reviews, but it's really a testament to how much I appreciate them by putting in some good words for them (although they don't really need it because they already have plenty of rave reviews). My last advise is try to schedule with them early, especially for bigger projects, because they're very booked but definitely give them a try. They will do their best to work with you and earn your business. read more

Peter was fantastic. We used him and his team to rewire our new (to us) home since it was built in the 30s and was in desperate need of some new wires and some recessed lighting. We moved into a new house. We discovered that the main sub panel was in terrible shape and lights would flicker when a door was slammed etc. We called a couple of electrical companies. One just blew off the appointment. Another came and never sent a bid or responded to phone calls. The we called Spark Masters. Aryan made an appointment and arrived on time. Explained everything fully and gave us a reasonable bid. We were treated so well that we began upgrading to recessed lighting in five rooms. Each time we added work we got a detailed bid in writing (email). Aryan and two other electricians arrived on time each time. Each time we got exactly what was promised. Great work, reasonable prices, and really pleasant considerate staff. I am sure we will be using Spark Masters for any future electrical work. read more

My home, built in 1927, needed a complete upgrade with new wires, outlets, switches, and a 200 amp electrical panel. Having issues throughout the house with blackouts and occasional light dimming due to electrical issues, I knew it was time to do a complete overhaul. Having contacted 3-4 electrical service contractors, Spark Masters was the most prompt and courteous. They arrived at the scheduled time, discussed thoroughly the entire project, and answered all my questions and concerns. Cost was competitive and fair compared to my other quotes. Overall, I decided to go with Spark Masters. The entire process was very efficient and thorough. Spark Masters would discuss the overall plan, going room by room, and providing a schedule for estimated rough work completion, inspection, and final work completion. They would cover the room floors with paper and also clean up after themselves. If there were any questions or concerns, they would call and ensure that I was aware of any situation. The entire project of doing a complete rewire of a 1200 square foot home, recessed lighting, updating all the outlets and switches, and upgrading the electrical panel to 200 amps took no more than 9 days. Overall, I am very pleased with the overall process and appreciative the quality of work and professionalism Spark Masters provided. I would highly recommend them for any electrical work needed. read more

Peter and his team did an amazing job on our home project. They were all very professional, courteous, and provided great customer service. I was able to make an advanced reservation with Spark Masters and we discussed our project/quote in advanced. Upon arrival, we again reviewed the project and he confirmed the terms/expectations. I was quoted by other electricians and Spark Masters was competitive, fair, and I went with them based on their service. Peter and his team were also very respectful of our property. Prior to starting, his team prepped floor paper and plastic wrap to prevent dust/expedited clean up. They even wore shoe covers and masks (during COVID-19). Huge thanks to Peter and his team. My family lives in Altadena in a home that was built in 1939 with original old knob and tube wiring. I always felt like those old electrical wires were dangerous and really wanted to do a complete electrical upgrade project for some peace of mind and to keep my family safe. I reached out to three different companies on Yelp for quotes and Spark Masters came out the lowest. Not only that, but the owner Peter came across as so very friendly, kind and patient. The two other contractors tried to hurry through everything, and I felt like they didn't really care and I was just another job for them. I'm so extremely happy with made to choice to go with Peter and Spark Masters. Throughout the entire job Peter has gone way above and beyond what I expected. He is extremely detailed oriented. With a few other projects we've done in the past I felt like I had to constantly stay on top of the contractors because otherwise their work is sloppy. But not with Spark Masters, Peter really truly cares about his work and he's patient and thoughtful about everything he does. We have a two year old running around the house, and in order to keep him safe throughout the project Peter took the time to thoroughly tape over every open hole in the wall to ensure he couldn't reach in and touch anything dangerous. He thoroughly vacuumed the house every day to ensure it was clean when we got back from work. He explained everything he was doing thoroughly so we understood what he was doing. My father-in-law is a retired electrician who has really high standards and he complimented Peter's work on numerous occasions, noting that usually electricians won't apply silicone sealant around the back of electrical panels and that takes extra effort. The project was pretty huge as we installed a new solar-ready 200 amp main panel, a 70 amp sub-panel for the house, and a 100 amp sub-panel in the garage for two 240V 50 Amp outlets for EV chargers (in the future). The old knob and tube wiring throughout the entire house and garage was completely replaced with new romex, and a trench had to be dug in order to run the new wiring to the garage sub-panel. We also had the outdoor lighting around our house significantly upgraded with new Philips Hue outdoor lights, a new lamp post installed at the front of our house and we had recessed lights installed in the living room and hallway. Peter delivered on absolutely everything and then some. On the original quote we were going to have to get a different contractor to dig the trench and repair it. Peter was kind enough to throw in digging the trench and even doing all the concrete repair work for free, no change order required (and the concrete work was actually very nicely done!). It's things like that which are way above and beyond and just demonstrate how committed he is to making sure his customers are happy. All the work just passed final inspection so the project is now 100% complete. We will definitely be using Peter for all of our future electrical needs. He's literally the best contractor I've ever worked with (and I work with lots of contractors in my job as well), and his pricing is very reasonable to boot. I seriously recommend you give Spark Masters a chance on your next electrical project, you won't regret it. read more

Before I actually booked an appointment, Peter came by 3 times and answered all my questions about installing a transfer switch.
