I am so glad that I was able to my review and correct because I am so grateful that the owner Rob cerundolo refused to do business with me as I was battling cancer and Beat It that I was able to purchase a shop service manual and take apart and rebuild my 2012 CRF250R myself too my surprise I found so many things that were so poorly put back together by their technicians like for example the twisting of my wiring harness the routing of my cables which made my steering very difficult numerous brackets that hold electrical connections in ground wires that I had to remove in Recrimp one, with them even knowing on on top of valve cover breathing tube severely damaged and cracked not replaced that was not even mentioned, this is before I even got into removing valve cover and head ,fuel injection housing body, also the cable housing where it connects to the fuel injection body, the dust cover was not even put on properly I was surprised the bike even ran, all coolant hoses very loose to my surprise all in all it was the poorest job I have ever seen in my entire racing career done by cycles 128 service technicians when I used to work for the place Parkway Cycle Freddy cerundolo senior, who was a very awesome guy, that his sun an I practice and awful lot and I thank him for teaching me everything I know when it came to racing, only to be treated which such disrespect from the nephew Rob who Now runs the place all he sees is dollar signs when you walk in the door that's all he is about even about the quality of work that they are shipping out because they made their money and you end up finding out how poorly his technicians don't even take pride in their work anymore it really is a shame wow such an awesome place and numerous other companies affiliated with them is slowly deteriorating as far as people taking their bikes to be rebuilt by them read on other reviews about cycles 128 and I've been dealing with his businesses since the early 80s and still will continue accept anything to do with cycles 128 anymore now I was able to learn and do it myself so thank you very much I really appreciate it showing that I really don't need you and never did thanks again Rob keep up the terrible work by your technicians that actually went to school to learn to do this read more

As to elobrate on my first review: i had went into cycles trying to buy a motorcycle i had money in hand. I was talking with a man and i had told him that i was "thinking" of trading in my 200xr dirtbike towards a new bike. I asked what he thought a range would be for a trade in value. I later told my buddy the quote he had given me and he called up cycles to just see what they had to say about the bike. One day after i went into cycles i was sitting in class at college i received three phone calls in a row with two voicemails. I left my class as i thought it was a urgent matter. I called the phone number back and it was cycles. Some man who claimed he was in managment came phone yelling at me telling me to never come in the store again that my buisness was not welcome at cycles. He accused me of spreading lies to people about the quote they gave me for the dirtbike. He then told me that thats not how they do business and i was quote un quote a idiot for doing so he went on how im dumb for doing this and said that he would like to retract his quote on the dirtbike because he said that it wasn't worth that much and said for me to never come in the store again. at this point i was furious . How did this man get my cell phone number? Why would he call me for such antics and talk down to me like i was a child or something. Again i had walked into this store trying to upgrade with cash to get a new motorcycle but after this phonecall i will never ever think about buying chain lubricant from this hellhole. The nerve of him to call me 4 times and leave 2 voicemails to tell me that my buisness is not welcome and how "dumb" i am for telling someone a quote amazes me. How can a place like this stay in buisness with customer support like this they need a true evaluation of their managamnet and people they hire becuase that is not the way buisness is done. Needless to say i took my money elsewhere ended up buying a new quad with cash from a dealer in NH no problems i was treated right and i got what i had set out for. I just finished taking the Motorcycle Safety foundation's Rider Course at the Motorcycle riding School in Beverly. Sherrill you are the best, you want FANTASTIC, personalized service call Sherrill...She is the first step in the riding experience and will make the whole sign up experience easy and painless. I did not feel that the group lessons were for me and took the private lessons, well worth the time and the money. I worked with Paul W. as my coach, knowledgable, understanding of my needs and patient beyond imagination. Paul helped me learn the basic skills of riding and all of the skills that are taught in the group session. I feel i have made some true friends and definitely know i have walked away a much better driver on the road whether it be in my car or someday on my own bike. Thank you Sherrill and Paul, you took what i thought would be a frightening experience, not knowing whether i could do this or not and turned it into an amazing experience making me look forward to the future riding time i am going to have with all the knowledge i have gained thur my private lessons This style of learning happens to be the best for me and i am so glad 128 cycle offers private lessons with NO PRESSURE at all. Thank you again Sherrill and Paul for all of your help from the very begining to the very end of the riding school experience. I could not have done it without you....I look forward to the spring to take my private lesson with Paul again to get ready for the new season of riding and brush up on everything i have learned up until this point. My review back in 2013 (as a customer) was 5 stars. I gave a perfect review because they were professional, efficient and conducted everything in a timely manner. They also gave me a better deal than the competitor so I scored them perfect. Then I decided to work here back in the spring. Only for like 5 months, then my girlfriend and I had to move. I waited until now to write my "inside/ behind the scenes" review. Now that I'm officially gone I feel it's fair for me to leave comments here. These guys are really awesome people! Sure, behind the scenes I saw some mistakes happen. Not many but no one is perfect. Sometimes it would take too long for the manufacture to ship us the bikes. Or a key would go missing making us all look bad. Thankfully this wasn't often. When it did happen the customers were usually very understanding. We always mad it right. I really sensed a wonderful relationship between staff and customers. The owner Rob C, the parts crew, Randy in sales, these guys have big hearts. They love their customers. A lot of them I noticed are more friends than customers. Unlike a car dealership they had customers who would just drop in to hang out and talk. Look around on the 2nd floor maybe and just chat. Place was a cool atmosphere. I liked seeing that these guys shared the same enthusiasm as the customers. NE riders are passionate. The customers I've met kick *** and so do the guys who work here. Back in the day working here I might have ranted once or twice to my girlfriend. Maybe about a customers who gave me a hard time on a price or the value of his trade. But honestly though, almost all the customers were real nice and I liked them a lot. Super chill riders shop at Cycles 128. I'm sure they shop elsewhere too maybe, I just mean that NE riders in general are the coolest. Thank you to my old customers and fellow NE riders. Now go see these guys! Cycles 128 did a fantastic job getting me on the road with a bike that I absolutely love. I initially inquired about a 2015 Honda Shadow they had at another one of their sister dealerships and my salesman, Kenny, went to work and had it shipped to their store the next day. I applied for financing, but my payments just weren't where I needed them to be. Kenny, Luis (Finance Manager), Rob C (General Manager) and Rob T (Sales Manager) went to work to try and get me the best possible rate and term available. They did a great job, but I still wasn't liking the payments. Kenny then brought to my attention a 2014 Yamaha Bolt that I never even considered. They had a deal on them for president's day, but it had expired. However, Rob C honored the deal and also honored the my trade-in value without ever seeing the bike. To make a long story short, they got me into a bike that was just 1 year older than my initial interest (2015 honda shadow), with only 1600 miles on it with 250 ccs more than my initial interest for $1,000 less. This bike is sharp and is exactly what I've been looking for. The funny thing is, the Bolt was parked outside when I walked into the shop and it caught my eye, but I said to myself "Don't bother looking, it's too expensive", but here I am. Signed the papers the next day, threw it in the uhaul and took it home. Thank you to everyone at Cycles that dealt with me being so difficult and getting me into something that I love when you could just have easily pushed me out the door. A special thank you goes out to my guy Kenny, Rob C, Rob T and Luis for doing everything you can to make my experience a positive one and thank you to Sysco (I'm not sure if that's how you spell it) for going over the bike with me and helping load it up. I normally don't do five stars and would prefer a 4.5. I went in knowing what I wanted, a blacked out MT-07, and my sales person Frank Presutti was awesome and deserves the five stars. Super helpful, quickly returned my phone calls, answered all my questions and was just an awesome person to deal with. My paperwork got a little mixed up when Brad took a photocopy and we both missed the fact that the original origin document was left in the copier. This sorta snowballed because I live in New Hampshire but Danielle handled it perfectly and I received the documents. Yes it took longer to be able to register it because of the paperwork delay but I was not in a rush to get it. The financing department could use a little more finesse. I understand they are selling those extended warranties for the bank to make that interest off of. But when a new engine is less than the contract seems a little rediculous since it dosent cover you laying it down. Let's just both move on and respect the decision of that is just stuiped. I would definitely do business with Frank again, he was absolutely awesome. I purchased sight unseen over the phone but he was awesome about getting back to me immediately and getting me the info I needed. He honestly seems like he cares about your safety and satisfaction when leaving. I look forward to his follow-up call to tell him how much I love the bike! read more

I went into Cycles 128 in Beverly 3 weeks ago looking at motorcycles, but left, a happy and satisfied customer. I had no intentions of buying a bike that day, but after looking over their impressive inventory and comparing that, to what I saw on Craigslist, I found the perfect motorcycle. The sales agent, Mikey D, was very informative, pleasant, and above all that, he was an honest person, while listening to everything I had to say.. He didn't, and wouldn't have tried to sell me more motorcycle than I could handle or afford.He wanted to find me a bike that was equal to my riding experience and I would be safe riding on. I found the price and mileage of the motorcycle I bought, to be that, of what I saw on Craigslist, but would pass inspection, be checked out by a professional, and above all, a safe motorcycle, backed by a warranty from a company with over 40 years experience. That piece of mind was immeasurable and my riding safety was paramount to everything else..I highly recommend Cycles 128 if you're in the market for a motorcycle and want to be treated with honesty and professionalism.. After reading some mixed reviews I was a little apprehensive but decided to give these guys a chance, mainly because the shop is so close to my house. Not only have I not been disappointed, I had to write to say that the staff has been exceptionally responsive and professional. I recently had an opportunity to test their after-the-sale service on my 2-month old 2012 Multistrada. After gearing up to ride on a beautiful Friday afternoon it was pretty disappointing to find the bike shutting off when I put it into gear. The technician, Paul, diagnosed the problem over the phone (faulty side stand switch). My sales guy Keith and Dave in service set me up with Thom at Iron Horse Transport who picked up the bike the next morning while I was at work, and Frank in service called a few hours later to let me know the bike was fixed and ready to go. Bottom line, I was riding again within 24 hours. Can't ask for better service than that. I plan on buying another high end sports bike in a year or two and would definitely give them my business again. read more

My husband and I have bought 4 motorcycles from Cycles 128 and we've never had a bad experience except dealing with our insurance company to send the correct paperwork to the finance department. I recently bought a brand new 2016 Honda CBR500R with the help of sales wizard, Rick Brandano. Rick was a pleasure to work with - attentive, friendly, fair, and knowledgeable. I was never pressured into buying anything and Rick took the time to find a bike that best fit me for my size (female rider) and my commuting needs into Boston. Rick was able to work with me on the price of the new bike as well as the trade-in of my old bike. I suffer no fools when it comes to negotiations but Rick proved his worth as a salesperson and earned my respect. He even gave me a lift home! The staff at Cycles 128 have always been very kind to me, like offering me watermelon or some iced tea while I waited to get my bike serviced - it's the nice little details that add up in my opinion which is why I will continue to do business with them. read more

Second time here after purchasing 2 new skiis from them. First one the hull broke and wasnt even a year old. Spent 16,800 and they wanted to give me 8k... got screwed on that deal at my own expense. Bought a new seadoo. Not even a year old and the motor blew. No motors available for a month... no demos and no loaners because the service manager "used up allowed hours" instead of taking care of the customer they are taking care of their own. Absolutely the final time I'm doing business here. Hopefully while my ski is sitting for a month is doesnt look like this person's poor ski. Every ski for sale and sitting in service is full of water, acorns and sticks from trees. Absolutely no respect or care from these people. I asked to speak to the owner and the GM Randy wouldnt give me a contact for him. Told me to call their Boston location. Called there and spoke to someone who was very rude and told me that he has only seen randy maybe 5 times out of the almost 20 years working there. Not good business. read more

Avoid this school like the plague. Awful impatient instructor, who was a retired state trooper. Would bark like he was in the middle of a traffic stop. Treating students like sh*t. I would never recommend it for anyone who has never been able to ride. This class is more for experienced riders who's been riding for a few months on the road. The only benefits are the extras through videos (not an instructor) about the importance to avoid drinking alcohol and getting on a motorcycle. The course revolutions change immediately and the instructors don't give you a chance to practice. You'll learn more in a large unused parking lot doing figure 8's without putting your feet down and etc and you'll save your money. Remember that regular vehicle driving schools are weeks long, this riding school kicks you right out with a certificate or a failure, after a few hours. Save your time and money. read more

Just posted the same review on google, but I feel strongly about my experience at Cycles128, so I'm moving it here as well: I bought a used motorcycle from Cycles 128. I worked with Rob C (GM) and Rick B (internet sales manager). Cycles 128 is one of the few motorsports dealers left in NE due to the strong shift to internet/ebay/Craigslist sales and the only dealer I dealt with who actually understood that fact. They were honest about any issues with the vehicle, very expedient during the sales process, and the ONLY dealer who didn't tell me "the price is the price" for the motorcycle I was looking for. I was originally planning to buy a bike off CL, but couldn't pass up their competitive prices and the guarantee that I wasn't buying a "project bike." If you're in the market for a used or new motorcycle, I highly recommend giving these guys a shot at your business. read more

I was tasked with researching the best all terrain vehicle for patrolling the beach (Plum Island) and forest areas in Newbury. I then had to find the best price. Cycles!128 accommodated both prongs of this task. Doug Bean facilitated the deal several months ago. When the money for the purchase was appropriated three days before Memorial Day weekend, I returned to Cycles!128 and told Doug I needed the 2015 Rzr 900 EPS Trail by Friday (2 days). Barry (the sales manager) and Doug worked a miracle locating the machine, and the entire service dept. went to work assembling and preparing it. I went to check out the new 2018 street twin at Cycle128, but they did not have one in store. Randy told me that they will have 18 of them coming in October. When I called another time, I was informed that they charge $700 for freight and set up. So I went to National PowerSports distributors in Nashua NH. NPSD waived their $500 freight and set up fee, gave me 3 year warranty instead of 2 at Cycle 128, and as a cherry on top they gave me the first maintenance free.Beat that Cycle128! Randy was bragging about his 20 years of experience. Your 20 year experience is bad news for me. I'd rather have a new sales person with one year experience who is willing to make a deal. 20 years experience makes you kind of arrogant. I went there to look for a newer dirtbike for around 3k Jesse Laschi the salesman I had was a big help he directed me to a 2011 yz450f that was in near immaculate condition on the floor marked at $4,000 I was shopping all around Massachusetts on line at all dealers craigslist and couldn't find the right bike. Jesse recognized me the few times I came in to look at the bike he showed me knowing I wanted it before I tried to lowball the dealership Jesse did something cool.. Knocked the price down $1,000! Bought my bike from cycles 128 a little over 2 months ago. Upgraded from the yamaha r3 to a 2013 suzuki gsxr 600. After a week of having it I came out of work after a long 12 hours shift to see my brand new bike on the pavement. Heart was broken. Very rideable but not how it looked earlier that day. Mirror was hanging off brand new m4 exhaust was all scratched up and fairing pieces cracked. So I called cycles 128 and told them what happened and they said they can take care of me. Amazing! I just purchased from them a CBR600rr and not only was the sales process and service smooth as it could be but I also ended up meeting Myooran and Deonna in the parts department and their service is outstanding. They have an amazing selection but above all, the experience is what says it all. I have been in the car business for a long time and as we all know, service and hospitality is what matters most and Myroon and Deonna both were exceptional, almost making me feel like we have know each other for a long time. I visited Cycles 128 since it was Kings Rook and thought that the place changed for the better. I checked out a Shadow 750 and they let me test drive it. The bike handled well, was smooth on acceleration, stopped quickly, cornered well and was quick off the line, enough for my taste. The saddle was comfortable and I could see myself traveling up country with this ride. People were nice, courteous and not too much sales bull. Keith was great but was eyeing my girls butt. I currently Own a 2017 FZ-09. I had my first service done at Cycles 128 as well as the installation of a full Akrapovic Titamium exhuast w/bazazz tuner. I dealt primarily with Mike in service and was really pleased with the process. I simply told Mike what I wanted done to the bike and he efficiently got the repairs done and even improved on my current set-up; his advice was invaluable. My bike runs absolutely great. In addition, my bike was done and ready to go in 1 day ( and this was during the busy spring-summer season). I highly recommend these guys if you want quality no bs service. read more
