Widespread corrosion on a 16 month old CB300R that has 1040 miles on it. It has been garaged it's whole life.

We ended up with a widespread corrosion issue on a 16 month old 2022 CB300R that has 1040 miles on it that we bought from Nault's in March, 2022. It has been garaged it's whole life. It was checked by Nault's on March 29, 2023, for its 600-mile new bike check, and had no corrosion on it. We brought it to Nault's right after Labor Day, right when we were shocked when we noticed the corrosion issue. They said they weren't going to cover it, and neither will Honda. Don't buy a motorcycle from Nault's: It has been a miserable experience and a waste of $6,300 dollars for a bike that lasted one year. They wouldn't even buy it back, so now they've lost us as potential future customers as well. The sales manager said she had too many CB600Rs that came back in outright sales. I can't begin to articulate what a terrible and disappointing experience this has been. We couldn't believe Nault's wouldn't stand by their customer, even if Honda wouldn't, (which is sad enough.) As if the road was salted in May and June, and as if this vehicle isn't meant to be ridden outdoors! Apparently, it isn't meant to be ridden outdoors. We're so sad. We got such a runaround, and they had the bike for over two weeks. Do not waste your money at Nault's.

We get our 4 wheelers registered here. They register them in back at the service desk. Its quick and the guy really knows what he is doing and he gave good info. They sell them here too (drool).

I'm a little overdue writing this review as it's been a few weeks since I stopped in. However, the shop and staff stood out enough that a review is warranted. I actually found them when I was searching for a five star Arai dealer in the northeast at the Arai website. There are very few options in New England for a good quality Arai dealer with decent inventory and knowledgeable fitters. The shop was a pleasant surprise as it had a welcoming feel from the staff from the moment I pulled into the parking lot. Staff both outside and inside were friendly and greeted me and even a worker in the middle of paperwork nodded as I walked past to the helmets. The friendly attitude continued into the helmet section where I crossed paths with the pleasant and mostly knowledgeable Adam Holmes. Both he and his co-worker (his name I've forgotten but he collects IOM TT helmets) took the time to chat and discuss Arai options and inventory and take some updated measurements of my head.. Notably, they had a pretty good selection of Arai helmets and covered a fair amount of ground. There was a surprisingly strong selection of new Corsairs and nice graphic options. However, they fibbed a bit on the phone when they said they sell the complete Arai line. They don't carry Arai's most popular helmet the- Vector 2. As someone who's owned multiple Arai's over the years I can tell you it's important to have the full line. They all fit differently and sometimes the best fitting helmet might not be the most feature heavy or expensive. In that regard I'd say they are a four star Arai dealer. To be five stars you should have all the models-only if it's only a handful for fitting purposes. The only place where the experience fell flat is when it came to try and purchase a helmet. The Arai that worked best for me happened to be the $980 Arai Corsair-X. Good news for most shops! I also had cash in hand which usually works well for everyone. However, the record scratched when they expected full MSRP for the helmet. Really? Sure, I don't expect you to match online prices (and I don't buy helmets online) but I've never paid full MSRP for an Arai at any shop I've been to over the last 20 years. I pressed him to be certain. Not 10% off, not 5% off, not anything off. Dumbfounded, I asked him if he's even going to even knock $20 off the price of a $980 helmet. Nope. "Someone will eventually buy it." he said. So I took my cash and put it back into my wallet and left more surprised than bothered (though I did drive five hours from NY ahem!). That's a first for me as a motorcyclist. In the end, I drove to another shop that was all too happy to sell an expensive Corsair X in the exact same color scheme for 10% off and swap the cheek pads to suit me. I sometimes scratch my head at the choices motorcycle shops make. They complain they're going out of business or struggling because of the Internet, but I think some are penny wise and pound foolish. Taking into account interest, depreciation, floor plan costs, etc. It's smarter to take that $960 now rather than wait five months for $980. You don't need to match online prices, but be reasonable and work off volume, custom fitment and good service. Not to mention that logic suggests that a middle-aged man willing to spend $1000 on a helmet probably spend lots on bikes and accessories. That is-if you get the ball rolling...Customer lifetime value folks-it's a thing-Google it. Overall, the selection and friendly staff make it worth a visit. Also, I'd say if you are thinking about an Arai and live within an hour of this shop you really owe them a visit due to the selection alone (if you don't mind paying full price). They lose one star though for the unconventional pricing tactics and the fact they don't carry the full Arai line despite being listed as a five star Arai dealer on the Arai website. I also think cheek or head liner customization should be included with any purchase if you are asked to pay full MSRP.

If you are looking for an easy, reputable/respectable transaction, I recommend going elsewhere. Upon entering the showroom and immediately walking up to a 2025 Ducati Panigale v4 by Lamborghini, I was rudely informed that the bike was in fact sold after wanting to purchase the bike outright in cash. Upon inspecting the bike, it had no slip recognizing that the bike had indeed been sold. The sales representatives were downright rude and blatantly unprofessional, during a previous walk-in an employee was openly expressing her political beliefs to me after I jokingly expressed my dislike for the tariffs which caused a change in price for their riding gear. Which made me quite uncomfortable considering the professionalism that goes into maintaining such a well known brand of Italian motorcycles, it was blatantly unprofessional. Not only that, every sales representative was watching me like a hawk from the moment I arrived, to the second I walked out the door. I felt I was being singled out, as if they thought I didn't have the means to purchase such a motorcycle. Even being told at one point that I should look at cheaper brands elsewhere as if I was broke. I've since purchased a Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini and a brand new Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini from Riverside Motorsports in Boston! If you are looking for a reliable dealer, I recommend Riverside Motorsports, the Ducati dealership of Boston!

I have purchased not 1, but 2 brand new Moto Guzzi motorcycles from SSC over the years, and likely would have continued buying Guzzis from you throughout my life, until my last encounter with your sales rep Jim Smith and the BLATANTLY false advertising practices that he/you are employing now. As of right NOW (see included photo), you are advertising the sale of a 2024 V9 Bobber with "special" pricing of 4995. Great - fair price. EXCEPT that, that is not the price; it is actually 5700.00, but you refuse to disclose that number to the public on your website in an obviousx way. I could, as of RIGHT NOW, purchase that bike from you on your website with a credit card for the exact amount shown - but according to Jim your sales rep, when I went in to claim my purchase, he would then charge me $800.00 more before he would actually give me the bike. When I pointed out that it was deceptive and unfair that people would travel (potentially a fair distance) to your shop and then have this sprung on them, his response was that "people don't mind at all" and "this was just the way things are done now". Well, they weren't done that way when I bought my previous 2 bikes from, and there is absolutely NO GOOD REASON why they should be happening now. Jim (the owner?) seemed very self-satisfied when he denied me that sale. $800.00 huh? I live in Portsmouth, and when I used to ride my Guzzis around, they were unique, and people would ask me about them and where I got them, etc. I can assure you that the loss of revenue from this bad sales practice will amount to FARRR more than $800.00.

I needed a 5000k service, and thought I'd check it out. Troy treated my bike like it was his own, that to me was very important. Their 5000k service included everything from soup to nuts. In other words, more than any dealership. When I got the bill, I told Troy, I asked him if that was correct, as it seemed too low,...as I am an honest person and want to pay my fair share, he said that it was...sold...customer for life! Last winter I left my bike with Troy for another 5,000k service, to have the top end rebuilt, and to install a Ginz sissy bar with brackets and to have the brackets and fender supports powdercoated black. Quite a laundry list of things to do. When the bike was finished, it was mid winter, I told Troy that I wanted to ride it home, he said no problem, come and get it when you want to. There was one day in February when the weather was in the 50's. I told Troy that I wanted to come and pick it up, no problem. I thought that I would have to pay for storage at least while the bike was there, Troy said no. I was very pleased with the job that EVO did, and I could tell that Troy was too, as he told me how everyone in the shop enjoyed looking at the bike when it was finished. My experience with Middlesex Power Sports / Old Outboard Marina or what ever else Mario is calling himself now, was exactly the same as other reviews you will find on the web if not worse. Mario had my boat for no less than...wait for it...4 1/2 years (not months, years). During which time I stopped in many many times to check on its status. I had to stop in as Mario does not take or return calls. In fact most of the time you can't even leave a message as his message are full. Twice when I visited I found he had been evicted from his place and the boat along with most everything else was gone. Tracking him down to his new location was both time consuming and as anxiety packed as you can imagine. At one point he did have it finished (although not tested) and was delivering it too me only to have the back engine cover fly off on rt 495. Mario did not lock the cover down and it was caught by the wind and flew off. This was a truly rookie mistake that could have easily killed someone. This is a much longer story than I have time to write here but after all the pain, anguish and time, Mario ended stiffing me for $200....sigh. The first bike was a brand new 2017 Kawasaki Versys X, but it was at their sister dealership in Arlington (Cycles128 doesn't sell Kawasaki). My salesman at the time was Billy, and he was able to have the bike transferred from Arlington to Beverly for me, and I hadn't even put a deposit down on it. yet. This was based on a phone call I had made while on vacation in Costa Rica. Convenient! The whole process was easy, painless, and very relaxed. There was never any pressure or upselling, and it never felt predatory as vehicle sales so often are. Fast forward to just under a year later, and I decided to upgrade to a Suzuki VStrom 650. This time I had the great pleasure of dealing with Ellen Petrilli and Rick Brandano. Yet another chill, great experience. I told them right up front what I was looking for, and with that knowledge, they showed me other alternatives to consider but never discouraging me from my original goal. Their inventory is incredibly vast and a virtual candy store, and I was glad for the other options that were shown to me. I had my heart set on the VStrom, so we got down to business. Worth noting was a little hiccup on Suzuki's part, as their manufacturer website claimed that there were certain accessories included with the bike that tuned out not to be. Not a concern because Rick and C128 were on the case and miraculously got Suzuki to make good on their claim. They didn't have to do that, because most dealerships would predictably claim their hands were tied and just shrug it off. But not these guys. They totally prevailed and saved the day. That I will never forget. The numbers part of the operation was handled by Brad, with whom I had worked with on my prior purchase as well. Another great asset to the company.
