I've always wanted to ride a motorcycle, just one of those things where reality meets fantasy. I grew up with a brother (back when he was still nice!) who rode motorcycles and I remember as a teenager trying one time to switch gears and braking while not having to worry about balancing with my brother riding with me. Just 1 time! Then came the movie The Matrix in my adult years where Trinity in her catsuit riding the Ducati made me envision myself wanting to ride a bike by the time I turn 60. So being bored and thinking am 1 year away from my age limit to get a motorcycle, I ventured into Cycle World. The space is deceiving. The inventory of motorcycles, jet skis, ATV's is huge, overflowing into their garage/service area and into a back building section. Patrick was really nice, showed me a Honda Rebel 300, my only goal was to make sure it seats low enough for my feet to be well planted on the ground and that the bike isn't to heavy to handle. Omg worst experience I ever had dealing with a company no wonder they only sale once a month night before went on line to and there web site was terrible so went next day after filling out my credit application and none of the information was correct and tried to over charge me by thousands I said this is not correct so then I am told someone made a mistake and they went and redone the numbers (they tried to rip me off and I am sure they do it to every customer hoping one will fall for there scam and pay thousands more than needed ) any way the cost of the atv I wanted was 4500.00 I was going to put a 1,000.00 down and so you know how much more it was for all there ad one 7,000.00 for a atv that coatb4500 unbelievable how so many people get ripped off by these criminals DO NOt GO HERE 2.0 review really they just try and rip off hard working Americans and veterans they just don't care I am still in shock who ever is ru the show they need to be fired immediately I would say there is a problem if you are only saying one atv aonth no wonder everyone is not stupid how they even sleep at nite ripping off veterans that's real shitty man read more

I don't even know why I went back to this crap hole. I never have had a good experience with them. Hence why I would never buy an ATV there. I dropped my daughter's ATV in there three weeks ago. Said they would look at it. Every time I call, it's 4 more days. For more days. CHarged me for a new battery even though it had a new one. Not all that stoked on Cycle World. I bought a dirt bike inner tube and didn't need it as it was a beading issue. Never even opened the box. But Cycle World has a policy where they don't do returns on inner tubes, citing customer integrity and product integrity return issues. My name is Kevin Duncan. I recently came to this shop for a oil change. The Service person made me aware of the other things wrong with bike and told me of a interest free loan that wasn't based on credit called snap.I was told it would cost a 1000 and I was approved for a 1000. When my bike was finished, I was directed to sign the loan papers to receive my Bike back. These papers looked nothing like the original it now said over 2000 was owed. I either had to sign the papers or come up with a 1000 on the spot!!!! I needed my bike for work that day so I felt compelled to sign. On the order it says labor charges added up to 700 at 110 an hour I dropped my bike off at 930 and it was done by 1145 Cycle World works with a predatory lender who charges %187 interest!!! I was charged for a motorcycle battery and it was never replaced. I brought my Suzuki burgman to this shop which took 4 weeks get an ideal what was wrong. It took another 2 weeks to replace my solenoid. Pick up and return drop off cost me over 500 dollars an no new battery. This place reaks of rip off. Buy beware read more

Wow, I've never had such a hard time spending my money in all my life . I emailed cycle world prior to my visit to let them know what bike and style I was interested in. After non receiving anything from the dealership I decided to walk into the store and look for the bike I wanted. I was approached by a young guy, and I asked if they had a bike in stock I was looking for. He didn't, but told me he could ask the owner about finding one. (Not a rare bike a simply 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 650r abs) I went in around one thirty , left and had not received a call. I called back at 5 , got the excuse that the owner had just walked in , he will get back to me. The day went on and I I got no call back... Next day at 930am I went in to ask about the progress of the bike and what I was asking for was difficult so I could possibly set a right expectation for myself. The sales person said not at all, and that he would follow up again. I decided to call the sales manager as I was growing tired of not being kept in the loop, I got a hold of him, he said that he remembers seeing my email and that he replied. I said well maybe I missed it but is it possible to ..... ( he starts talking to another employee about a customer .. Then puts me one hold .. After 5 minutes of waiting I decided to hang up. This place had my bike for 10 months and they had no clue what to fix I brought the bike home looked up YouTube and Figured out myself in 5 minutes what the problem was They left my Throttle body uncovered for 10 months and they're ruined now, Another time They didn't tighten my bolts up and oil sprayed all over my pants and shoes going down the interstate There was another time when the mechanic had no clue what to repair so he just started replacing parts and and none of them worked But I had to pay for all that You're gonna pay if you go to them read more

Went for a "free inspection" and turns out the inspector has his own rules for inspecting. The service guy tried to show me on the board why my bike failed, but nowhere did the board state that my turn signals have to be sticking out. So the inspector asks me if I want him to just reject it?? Like I had much of a choice. They just claim that flush mounted turn signals aren't allowed, even though I can't receive a ticket for it. Also, the bike is a 2013 and hasn't failed an inspection so far. read more

Dropped my Honda CBR off last summer 2021 for over heating issues and cutting off at stop lights.....they flushed coolant, adjusted idle, ....bike still over heated...... dropped bike off again this summer 2022 for the same issue.....bike stayed in shop a month and a half before they looked at it......they only have 1 mechanic so that didn't bother me too bad ....I understood....... however....the mechanic said that my bike ran like crap and needed $2000 worth of work......which it didn't .....told me fan switch needed to be replaced which was a lie.....my fan was working when I dropped it off.....accused me of riding bike with the choke on which was a lie....let my brand new battery die from sitting and didn't recharge it so that I could ride it off the lot.....said that my bike didn't have oil in it.....which was another lie.....said fuel tank needed to be flushed and carbs needed to be cleaned....was just trying to get rich off of my bike .......took it to get a second opinion from a different bike shop and they told me fan switch was not connected......I wonder how that happened........and that my bike was the best running carbureted bike he ever rode.....bike needed fuel pump.....still trouble shooting over heating issues but is difficult because it's intermittent........I wouldn't take a lawnmower to get fixed at cycle world read more

Excellent service, super friendly. We are down here on vacation and the very first time we took our jet ski out we sucked up some sea grass and debris my wife was very upset thinking we were done jet skiing for the week. We called these guys told them we were on vacation and they said bring it on over we'll take a look. They got us in right away, cleaned everything out, they had to take out the pump and had us out of there in just over an hour. They even told us a great place to launch and have lunch. So I bought I new bike from these guys I expect to be pushy about extended warranty or gap ins. But these aren't pushy they just add it in and do there best to hide the fact that your getting taken to the cleaners. Not to mention their dealer fees are outrageous. And when I tried to reason with them to modify my contract the sales manager called me a moron and absolutely refused to do anything to help out. Not sure what kind of business these guys are running but I don't recommend anyone even consider this place. I dont usually leave reviews but cycle world definitely deserves it...i went to cycle world to get parts to rebuild my kx 250 from top to bottom, There service / parts department was extremely friendly and helpful, they were able to get me all my parts extremely fast and worked with me on the price...after rebuilding my kx250, i ended up also purchasing a 2018 yz125 for my son and the sales department went above and beyond to get me a great deal.... absolutely great experience and I defiantly recommend cycle world to anyone shopping around!!! read more

Avoid this place! Brought my R6 in there for an oil change and to fix a blinker light. They charged me $270, claiming they did a short service on the bike (which I did not want) and claiming it took them an hour to fix the blinker light ($77 an hour labor rate). The light was literally one wire beneath the seat, under a cover held down by 2 screws! It was a 15 minute job max! I initially told them I would just replace it myself and they told me if I wanted them to do it it would only take them a few minutes.... I wish I had checked out all the other reviews before I went here. Please take my advice and avoid this place. It really bothers me to see businesses take advantage of their customers. read more

AVOID this place!!! They broke the windshield of my motorcycle and after admitting it in writing, they now want me to pay half of the retail cost to replace it. That is wrong. They should have a big sign in their shop that says..."Warning - we will break your bike and ask you to pay us to fix it", because that is how they are treating me! The Vice President, Jeff Greer, is a horrible person. He treated me like crap, was rude, insulted my bike, and I believe him to be dishonest. Sure they were happy to sell us an overpriced ATV but it when it came down to servicing our 4-year warranty all the sudden nobody knows how to return a phone call, and it's always will get back to you.... For months and now it finally broke down. Go anywhere else, run anywhere else.
