This is going to be long, so I apologize for that…read more First impressions where great, everyone seemed nice. I still think the rest of the staff is nice because I haven't had any issues with them. My issue is with the sales person who sold me the moped. The thing that negatively affected my review is when I had a concern about what I signed up for. I guess I didn't really understand what it was I signed up for and that's on me. The thing is when I got my first bill, I wasn't expecting it to say that I was paying what I thought was the monthly payment biweekly. The sales person gave me their number so if I had any questions I can call or text. I texted them making sure I was reading it correctly but also texted that it was more than what they said (because I remember him saying it was 225 a month, maybe I'm remembering it wrong) I didn't get a reply so I waiting until they opened the next day. When I called him, I said the same thing and he said I was calling him a liar, when that's not what I said at all. He proceeded to tell me he has everything recorded on camera if i would like to see that.. I kind of think the way he replied was unprofessional, and I wish that he could've talked to me more professionally? Maybe I just don't remember it correctly but I wasn't being rude about it, I don't think. The conversation switched because he said that, that they could've done was traded for a cheaper ride or called the bank to see if they would work something out on the payments (I ended up calling the bank myself and they can't lower your biweekly payment permanently, only temporarily for 3 months and you do not want to do that if you got the same interest as I do) The bank I signed my contract with and them have a 90 day thing where the max you pay in interest is $40 & from what I understand is that if you pay in full in the 90 days then that's the max you pay in interest biweekly. If my contract says I'm making 26 payments , how am I supposed to pay that amount in 3ish months? More context to add, I had to use a cosigner, my husband. They let me get information from him over the phone and finish the application process without him even having to come inside the shop physically or even talk to the sales person at all. He didn't even have to sign anything. Which was convenient for me at the time but now I'm hindsight, should've been a red flag because I basically signed my husband up for this. My husband was rightfully upset , he ended up calling them, he was not very nice and I'm embarrassed by that because he talked to people that weren't even involved in me buying the moped. To those people, I'm very sorry that you had to deal with that. The sales person never called me back , I let him know I called the bank myself and only had limited options but he never replied or called me back. I haven't received my official paperwork yet, which my temporary registration is going to expire soon. I have too much anxiety to even ask them anything at this point. I'm going to end this by just warning people, please if you are not knowledgeable about financing bring someone who is and have them explain to you what you are signing up for. If you have a cosigner, make sure they are there so that you both know what you are signing up for. Don't feel dumb for asking them to simplify it either, you NEED to know what you're signing up for..
