I don't think there's any other spot I would recommend other than sunrise cycle I dropped my bike off early in the week and I asked if I could order a tire to their location. They said that's fine. After four days of letting my bike sit in their shop while they worked on 100s of bikes all throughout the week, I finally came in because I got the news. FedEx had lost my package. They were Johnny on a spot. The front cashier ALEIDA asked me if I wanted to go pick up a different tire and I told her that was my only transportation I told her I could Uber, but she said that she wouldn't allow that. so she went out her way and picked up my tire for me so they could get started on my bike. The mechanic LOGAN came up to me. He said there's a lot of bikes in front of you, but I will get you done today. So after hours of him working on 10+ ahead of me the team stayed late just to get me back on the road talk about AMAZING service and care for other Riders. Big shout out to ALEIDA and LOGAN. the service techs are probably the best part of the whole service area. I took my bike in for a recall, rear tire replacement that had a nail in it, and a post purchase inspection as the bike was since recovered from a theft and was being brought back into the road. Mike Kilbride in the service department asked if I wanted to repair and tire that should've been my first sign.. I looked past it Mike seemed to be pretty good at first was decent with communication and then completely left me hanging. The service techs had a chance to find everything needing replacement and wether or not they were critical; one of those happened to be a chain and was reccomended to change the chain and sprockets I thought why not. I spoke with Mike asking if we can put the same vortex chain and sprocket kit on it that was previously on the bike; no problem they don't have In stock; but can definitely order it. a week later when I got the write up and I had a chance to review that the part numbers were not the same for what I requested for the chain and sprocket kit. Mike stated that they believed I wanted my bike operational more than I wanted that specific kit. as I work in the service industry if I ever told a customer this is what they are getting and then make my own conscious decision to give the customer something else is so unprofessional. at the very least a phone call saying hey the specific kit you want will take significantly longer here's what we recommend and why. at the end of the day I did my research to find out that it was indeed a good kit to put on but as a service person whose expertise is in motorcycles it would've been professional to advise the customer and let them make that decision. my only other complaint is that my passing and brights were working before and now they're not?? now I got to sit down with a volt meter on my day off to diagnose and fix. otherwise the work done was superb from Logan the service tech and one other guy in service who I spoke with on pickup if it wasn't for them this would be a one star review. read more

I had a bike that had been in storage few three years. They took extremely good care and have brought the bike back to life. In top of that the weather. First off nervous going there due to the dormant period but they were understanding and not judgmental. They fixed what needed to be fixed only and didn't try to up sell me. The bike was fixed on time. The weather the past month has been challenging in HR, definitely not conducive to riding a motorcycle so I just could not pick it up. Purchased a brand new motorcycle from there about two years ago. Worked with Duck who was very nice and friendly. I am currently moving away from the area and wanting to sell my motorcycle. It's been garage the whole time and has less than 500 miles. I called them to see if they might be interested. never been treated so rudely on the phone by both a sales person and the sales manager Chris. I politely asked if they could look up my name and see the sales contract so they could look at the exact motorcycle. I purchased when I purchase it and how much. And then talk about a buyback. Their attitude was rude. Their responses were rude. In the end. They said we are not buying motorcycles - interesting that a motorcycle shop would not at least look up your motorcycle and explore the idea that maybe I would sell that to them and what do you know buy another bigger motorcycle? I guess some people want to be the experts in whatever field - this time it's motorcycles. But the customer is just looking for actual service. I'm glad they're experts in motorcycles cause I'm pretty sure they have absolutely no life skills. No skills for dealing with the public no skills for dealing with veterans and no skills dealing with the military, they are just interested in making the quick dollar. Absolute nightmare working with this shop. Initially brought in a 2017 Rocket 3 for repairs in 2020. I was initially working with Buck in service and took them over 2 years for repair due to covid and shipping constraints. The completed repairs 2 days before I had to move out of state due to military service. The first time I took the motorcycle out (checked oil, everything else was good) made it 4 miles down the road before the engine seized. I had a shop in San Antonio open it up and found the engine was totaled due to improper service from Sunrise Cycles. The damage was covered under warranty and initially the worked with me to rectify the situation. Once I told them I was out of state, I was told it was not their problem and they are taking no responsibility to repair or at least compensate me for the now totaled vehicle. I am currently working with a law firm in Virginia Beach to help me sue to cover some of the financial loss. read more

Sales is not professional. I called to get information on a specific atv with cost and breakdown pricing freight tax ect. Rob was the salesman I spoke with, he refused to give me the breakdown quoted me 4200.00 for yahmaha 90. With the list price of 3199.00 I tried to inquire on costs involved in purchase price he refused give me breakdown stated with demand and current delays that was the cost period and he doesn't know the breakdown of above stated. I been accused of ride ruff but when tire not set up right chain is not tension right nor does tire wear right. They also talk behind your back and cause more maintenance problems to your bike. In case you don't read this entire review, I wanted to make sure most people would see this sentence in this post so that Logan and Buck in the service department, in addition to Jerry Peak the mechanic who has worked on my bike, are all 3 recognized because they are excellent employees and honest men of good morale and integrity, hence the reason I go there and am writing this review! Now I'm sure anyone reading this knows just how hard it can sometimes be to find a good and honest mechanic/service center, whether it's for your car or motorcycle. Fortunately, I was able to find a place to work on my bike that has not only done excellent work but that also has been very honest and ONLY fixed what was broken instead of ripping me off and deceiving me by doing work that didn't need to be done just to make more money. Now I'm not saying all, or even most, places that fix automobiles/motorcycles are that way, but unless you are trained yourself you just have to trust that you aren't being taken for a ride, figuratively speaking of course. Here are some of the things that happened to me that were evidence of an honest business that employs people with an enormous amount of integrity. So, I have taken "my baby" to Sunrise a total of 4 times since I have owned it. I originally brought it to them was because from time to time there was some hesitation during acceleration. Although this only occurred occasionally and sporadically and didn't seem to be anything serious, I wanted to have them take a look at it just in case and to avoid any possible future problems. Well, I dropped it off in the morning and spoke to Buck, one of the guys who works the front in the service department and is VERY cool with excellent customer service skills I must say. Anyway, he called me the very next day and said they looked at it, and said they didn't find any problems but to bring it back in if it does it again or gets worse. When I asked what I owed he said, "well we didn't find anything wrong with it so there's no charge". My jaw dropped and....*Mind blown*. Now how often does anyone take their car or motorcycle to a mechanic, even if they are a very honest mechanic, and walk away without being charged ANYTHING at all for SOMETHING?!? I was floored!! The only thing Buck said was that they recommended I have the carburetor cleaned at some point in the near future but that it was not something that needed to be done right then. The next time I brought it in was a few months later because it broke down and wouldn't start and needed a new starter clutch for which I was given an approximate estimate between, if my memory serves me correctly, $900 and $1100. Yes, that's an expensive fix, BUT, it's also a standard price for that particular type of job for my bike. Now, I was expecting it to be at least the more expensive part of the estimate, but was happily surprised that when I went to pick it up Buck told me they were able to get it within the lower part of the estimate which came out to be just slightly more than $900. I agreed to pay the full amount if it came to $1100, and I think most people know that there are a lot of places who would just charge the larger part of an estimate if the customer agrees. However, they didn't do that, which in my eyes shows integrity and honest business practices. The 4th time I took it to them was just recently (about 7-8 months after I had the starter clutch fixed), and spoke to Logan when I dropped it off, also a fantastic employee with great people skills who knows his stuff. Anyway, I had to have it towed because it wouldn't start, plus it needed an inspection. They passed the inspection and said nothing was needed, which most of us know is also extremely rare, but yet again this shows me just how honest they are and only fix what needs to be fixed. But the reason why they said it wouldn't start was because it needed a new battery and also there was a loose wire connection at the relay solenoid. My bike is 12 years old and had the original battery that came with the bike, which has 11,500 miles, so it was due for a new one. As far as the mechanic who has done the fantastic and honest work on my bike, his name is Jerry Peak. So if you take your bike to them, I would personally recommend you ask for Jerry Peak, because this is a man of integrity who not only does excellent work, but who doesn't rip people off by doing work that doesn't need to be done or overcharging people for work that should cost less. And by the way, I should recognize in this post Logan and Buck at the front in the service department, in addition to Jerry Peak, because all three of them are honest men of good morale and integrity. In closing, dealing with Sunrise has been a fantastic experience and I would most definitely highly recommend them because they have been very honest, fair, and reasonable with me, and are the epitome of how good and ethical business practices are supposed to be put into action. read more

Man every time I go in here, these guys take good care of me and my bikes. Their always cutting me decent little discounts. Not charging in full for chain service when they already have the back wheel off for example! They all seem like they enjoy working with and fixing bikes. Bought a KLR 650 here last year on 10-16-16. It has been a great bike with no problems at all. I don't put many miles on as it is terribly dangerous riding in this area. I still like to go out on a Sunday morning cruise now and then or trailer the KLR to some off road trails. Roy Ford in sales was very friendly and helped Me get a good deal. Buck, Gordon and the mechanics have always done a good job on the KLR and Concours that I brought over from time to time. I took my bike here to get my rear tire replaced and it took 22 days for them to complete the job because my axle broke while they were taking the rear tire off. The he service department tried blaming the axle breaking on me but my bike is 10yo with 19,000 mi on the rear tire and it probable seized up inside when they were taking it out. They also made me pay full price for tire and service they took care of the axle THEY broke but I felt as tho I missed 22 days of good days to ride and didn't get a discount. I'm not going here ever again after this and everyone that owns a bike I'll tell them not to go here and makes it easy since I'm in the navy as a command motorcycle coordinator. read more

I bought a new jetski there in 2009. In 2011 the engine seized up. They said $6,000 for them to rebuild. It took them 2 years to do it and now the supercharger has seized up. They say that will cost $3700 to replace. This ski was babied and Sunrise did all of the regular scheduled maintenance. Now this is more of a Kawasaki lemon but Sunrise as the dealer did not want to do anything to help me except for wanting to charge me $1000 over retail for a replacement ski. I will never buy from them again period!!!!!! read more
