Safety is really important to Pat and he will make sure your bike is safe to ride. Had a little hiccup when I got the bike home but Pat immediately took ownership and resolved the issue and while he had the bike he even drained the primary and adjusted the clutch at no extra charge. Pat also solved an electrical issue with a turn signal that other shops had said they fixed.

FedEx had lost my package. They were Johnny on a spot. The front cashier ALEIDA asked me if I wanted to go pick up a different tire and I told her that was my only transportation I told her I could Uber, but she said that she wouldn't allow that. so she went out her way and picked up my tire for me so they could get started on my bike. The mechanic LOGAN came up to me. He said there's a lot of bikes in front of you, but I will get you done today. So after hours of him working on 10+ ahead of me the team stayed late just to get me back on the road talk about AMAZING service and care for other Riders. Big shout out to ALEIDA and LOGAN. When it comes to sales, there's no real difference between dealers, what sets one apart from the other is post-sale follow-up and service. To make a long review short(er), I bought my last Harley from Bayside because they could get it in a reasonable time. On delivery, the mechanic (a true wrench) took the time to explain everything and made some adjustments and installed a lot of additional parts I wanted. Each step of the way, I trusted his advice and solid craftsmanship in taking care of my bike. A good man! The Service Dept "customer facing staff", was not quite such a great experience, seeming aloof and certainly knew more about the customer and what they wanted than the customer. As with many others (including the mechanic) had done, I left for another dealer. Fast forward to today. All three HD dealers in SE Virginia have been consolidated into one, at the old Bayside HD location. Needing service I stopped by to schedule it in person. The new dealership, Ironclad HD, was an exercise in organized chaos and cat herding. Trying to combine the inventory and customer base of three dealers in the region is no small feat. But, I found that the initial "meet and greet" with the service staff was professional and as good as could be expected. I scheduled an appointment for a routine oil change and was glad to see they honored the pre-paid maintenance agreement I had when I purchased the bike. So I bring it in for service this morning and found the disarray of a couple weeks ago was lessened, but the service staff seemed very positive still. Also found out that my favorite mechanic had returned. Bonus. My low expectations for the experience were shattered! From initial check-in to walking out the door at the end, communication with the service writer, Vegas was timely and on point all the way. Now granted, this was a simple routine maintenance visit but if I got treated like this every time, that's a thousand-fold improvement over the previous service staff. Bravo Zulu (as we say in the Navy) Vegas and the Ironclad staff, you've brought at least one customer back. Just please, PLEASE do something with your customer waiting area. That was the most spartan, uncomfortable experience since I had to hot-rack on an FFG-7........ Of course, Ludacris blaring as background music wasn't the most enjoyable either. Just one old white guys opinion....... Looking forward to future visits.

I had to replace one of my tires and wheels and went to Pungo Offroad because they were close by…read moreand I needed new A/T wheels so I thought it made sense. I asked for an estimate of a new tire and wheel; they quoted me for a tire and they said they would find a wheel laying around and would throw that in for free. The tire was more expensive than I could have gotten on my own but thought it was convenient if they threw in the wheel and did the work to replace it. They ordered the tire, called me to let me know it came in, and also informed me that they do not have a wheel laying around. I was told to "search online for one." I find it weird that an offroad shop that mentions tire work would not help me find a new/used wheel. They just put the tire in the back of my car and that was it. I could have bought the tire myself and for a little cheaper; I wanted to go to them to help find a wheel and install the tire and wheel. I do not think I have ever been told by a shop that I was essentially on my own for finding parts. Maybe there was miscommunication somewhere, but I still find the whole interaction weird and bizarre that an auto shop won't help me find parts. If I was able and had time to find parts on my own, I would not have gone to them in the first place.

When we told to them and the had the entire bike towed to the shop so they could listen to it; we got cussed out by Larry and called a piece of s*** for even questioning his work... I swear to you the noise was never there before they touched the bike. But the worst is to be treated like that from a business. I'm getting ready to write a letter to the Better Business Bureau against the entire business over his actions. Stay clear the best thing I can tell anyone I know.

Had a cracked rim causing my tire to lose air right before going out of town. This place does…read morebusiness with a welding shop called Kraft... they will take your tire/rim off of your car and transport it to Kraft for service and once completed they'll bring it back and reinstall it. If you drop your car off early and they get the tire/rim to Kraft before 1pm, then they guarantee same day service. I dropped my car off last minute around 1130am and I got my car back around 415pm... the whole service was about $180.

I stopped in to get my fluids checked and to get an oil change just to clear my mind for an upcoming road trip and what I was met with was the warmest group of guys imaginable. The oil change I received was on par with my expectations, but the service kinda blew me away. I found myself in a deep conversation about life with the assistant Wood (owner and also veteranhad in the shop that day and since it was hot Wood offered me a bottle of water. When I asked him later how much he declined to make money because he said it was too hot outside for me not to drink it..... wait what? You mean to tell me that I came in for a simple service and you not only did not try to upsell me or gouge me on the price of the change, but you gave me free water?... Where have you been all my life? He suggested a few mods to my bike from admiration and not from (where is my next dollar coming from) this right here is how you keep a customer. I will be back for some bike mods in the near future. This guy is the truth. I would say this is the mom & pop shop you have been looking for for that tailored customer service experience.
