Big Wood Customs - Night rides are probably my favorite, I probably was looking at my last one for a while if I hadn't stopped in to see Wood when I did.

I stopped in to get my fluids checked and to get an oil change just to clear my mind for an upcoming road trip and what I was met with was the warmest group of guys imaginable. The oil change I received was on par with my expectations, but the service kinda blew me away. I found myself in a deep conversation about life with the assistant Wood (owner and also veteranhad in the shop that day and since it was hot Wood offered me a bottle of water. When I asked him later how much he declined to make money because he said it was too hot outside for me not to drink it..... wait what? You mean to tell me that I came in for a simple service and you not only did not try to upsell me or gouge me on the price of the change, but you gave me free water?... Where have you been all my life? He suggested a few mods to my bike from admiration and not from (where is my next dollar coming from) this right here is how you keep a customer. I will be back for some bike mods in the near future. This guy is the truth. I would say this is the mom & pop shop you have been looking for for that tailored customer service experience.

A week later, I went down there after several calls during the week to find out if they had started on it yet or finished it. I went down there and asked the girl at the desk with the , " I don't care attitude " if my cable was finished and she said he has not started on it yet. I dropped it off on a Friday and that following Thursday I told her I will take it with me now.. She said here it is.. The I don't care attitude... If I was spending 10,000 on one of their Karts they would have had my cable done on day one... but for 15.00. they wanted to make me wait and wait and wait... Poor customer service with no customer concerns.. I will never spend another penny in this place.. I will let all motorcycle shops know about their customer service...

No hurt feelings, fast forward 11 months I have a minor issue that I want corrected before the warranty runs out, Carts Unlimited manager said she would check to make sure it's covered and get back to me, a week and a half later and no response I called to see if I could bring it in and she said no they're not taking anymore because of a storm still a week away if it comes at all and said maybe in 2 weeks, well if she did any checking she knows that's past my warranty. I think she way upset that I didn't buy from her last year. If she's doing so well that she can turn away business good for her but I'm also recommending to my friend(and anyone who will listen) to go to Avalanche Motorsports. They were great during the purchase and told me bring it in and they'd take care of it while I got lunch.

I took it to the owner, who is extremely cool and knowledgeable, took a look at it. Pointed out that the rim was exposing the bead and the tire had cracked. Didn't even charge me. Went back for the inspection and was in and out of the door. Another time I took my window regulator. Not only did they repair it, which other shops refused since I didn't buy it from them, but they also charged me a great price and told me they don't overprice repairs because they believe in honest work and not screwing paying customers. I always recommend them to anyone I know needing work done.

She explained but it still didn't make sense to me so I nicely said "okay thank you" she rudely responded and stated "alright bye" and disconnected the call. I have spent my money with these people on many occasions and usually the owner (who's a male usually helps and is usually professional and nice) so it was my first time dealing with her. However I am also a business owner and worked In customer service for years so the way you talk to a customer is super important to me. Especially if it's a customer who actually gave you their hard earned money on more than one occasion and to get a rude action like that is a slap in the face. I hate to say it but I may not give them my money ever again for that because that was absolutely rude! So to the lady who was rude here's a pointer for you "WETHER THE CUSTOMER IS GOING TO ABLOAGE OR NOT, KEEP YOUR ADDITUDE TO YOURSELF! NO ONE WHOS LOOKING TO PAY YOU WANTS TO DEAL WITH THAT CRAP! Just because of you being rude you lost a paying customer. I am no longer doing referrals either.
