Looks like someone used a flat head screw driver to pry off the wheel weights.

I've been going to this cycle gear ever since I got my license last year. Customer service is usually good. On my last visit I brought a pair of tires i bought from Revzilla to get them installed. Keep in mind this is the first time i have replaced my tires on my bike. Service was fairly "quick". Dropped it off in the morning before work and was ready by around 5pm. The reason for my 1 star review is due to the fact that the technician who replaced my tires tried to cover up multiple scratches on both my wheels. Wiping down the wheel with degreaser revealed scratches covered with SHARPIE MAARKER around the outer edge of the wheels and scratches where the old wheel weights were located. The dishonesty of this one technician has lost a customer who has spent thousands on gear and accessories. I'm hoping the other locations are not this shady. Will never bring my wheels here ever again.

Switching back to quality. BILT is inexpensive and CHEAP.

Updating my review as my previous was from back in 2011. Cycle Gear, in my opinion has gone down hill. I used to love them however, the store brand, BILT, is worthless. I guess the ol' saying is true - you get what you pay for. Five year warranty for their gear. I took advantage of this several times however, I'm tired of having to return gloves, that don't hold up for six months at at time. To elaborate why this especially bothers me - you have to first understand, that I'm a motorcycle instructor. I bought boots and gloves specifically for teaching. I figure, a helmet that costs $40, boots for $50 and gloves for $20 should be good enough for me riding or running around the range. They're not. The boots claim to be waterproof. States it in plain black and white. I've turned in two sets of boots now because my feet get soaked from just standing and walking around in the rain, on the range. It's not like I'm going swimming with them on. I've been through three pairs of gloves - returning them because they come apart at the seams as well as the stitching that holds the velcro pads in place. The helmet seems to be okay however, the padding isn't made of the best quality but again, it's specifically for when I'm on the range. If the gear can't hold up to when I'm just standing, walking or riding on an instructional course at low speeds - I'm definitely not trusting them for when I'm riding on the streets or freeways and especially not on the track. The staff is excellent at this location. They're helpful and they know motorcycling. I probably shouldn't say this but I just won't say a name - but one of the staff was honest and told me that BILT is not the best quality stuff. I used to only wear the name brand gear. It's the only way I plan to go from now on.

Very helpful personnel and a good selection of apparel and parts. Pricing is comparable to online pricing at other retailers.

Next they built my Naturally Aspirated Harley Night Rod Porsche, improvising with the ape hangers, rear view mirrors and heat shrinking around all cables and wires to creatively create a show quality product. After calling MTC and getting a diagnostic quote from Luke, I had my motorcycle towed to MTC, Luke said I would get a call with the results. After not hearing anything for 3 days, I went to the shop. I was told by the mechanic (Victor) the issue was multiple things. I then was told the ECM could could be the issue. I was told to have my motorcycle towed to my house while waiting for the part to arrive. When the part arrived, I called and spoke with Luke again. I asked to speak with Victor, instead of Victor coming to the phone, he relayed messages through Luke, who knew nothing. I checked my bike for any missing parts before returning to MTC. I found a cross threaded seat bolt, 3 missing batwing bolts, missing battery, and the new thottle by wire part Victor had me purchase was missing. When I got back to MTC Victor had to search for the parts among a collection of pieces & parts. He gave me what he thought might be my parts. I was told he couldn't find my battery, but tried to sell me a new one. I now have my motorcycle in worst condition than before taking it to MOTORCYCLE TIRE CENTER!

After having a long conversation with ChatGPT about tire selection, inventory, speed of service,…read moreand quality of service, Chat GPT recommended Tire Outlet in Fullerton to me. I have a Chevrolet Bolt EUV with a set of tires that practically nobody makes anymore, and one of them had started leaking air. I was worried I was in for an expensive replacement. I'm so thankful ChatGPT directed me to Tire Outlet. The moment I pulled into the parking lot, I was greeted with smiles and employees who were eager to help. The manager personally took care of me, and from the very beginning, everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The speed of service really impressed me. About a year ago, I brought my car to a different tire shop in Fullerton for another leaky tire and ended up waiting 2 1/2 hours before anyone even looked at my car. Today's experience couldn't have been more different. While I relaxed in Tire Outlet's clean, comfortable waiting lounge and got some work done on my laptop, they had everything taken care of in about 15 minutes. Then came the biggest surprise of all. They told me my tire didn't need to be replaced after all--they were able to fix it easily by hand. And when I went to pay, they insisted on not charging me anything. Seriously... who does that these days?! I was blown away. That level of honesty and integrity is incredibly rare. They could have easily sold me a new tire, especially since my tires are difficult to find, but instead they fixed the actual problem and sent me on my way. From now on, Tire Outlet will be the only place I take my car for tire service. They specialize exclusively in tires (so you don't have to wait while a car gets another type of lengthy repair or maintenance), know their products inside and out, have an impressive inventory, provide incredibly fast service, and, most importantly, treat their customers with honesty, care, and respect. If you're looking for a tire shop you can truly trust, I cannot recommend Tire Outlet in Fullerton highly enough. They've earned a customer for life.

2 out of 5 stars I…read morehad my two rear tires replaced at this location about few months ago, when I was in Brea visiting my boyfriend, who had just become paralyzed from a motorcycle accident. I was about two hours from home, and ended up with a hole in my tire that needed fixing before I could drive back. They told me to arrive by 6:30 p.m. since they closed at 7, and I got there just in time. While the actual replacement process was smooth and the tires look fine, I only found out from the paperwork afterward that they were supposedly "balanced". Unfortunately, the car hasn't been driving right since. The steering feels off, it's jerky, and turns are more difficult than they should be. Clearly, something is wrong with the balancing or the installation. I'm concerned that because I arrived so close to closing time, the job may have been rushed. If they can't do a thorough job that late in the day, they really should stop taking new customers earlier rather than rushing through the work. In short, while the staff was accommodating in terms of timing, the end result was that my car doesn't drive properly now. For that reason, I wouldn't go back.
