Great shop, employees are very helpful. Megan and ? (taller, skinny Asian guy) help me quite a bit but everyone seems very good . If they don't have it, they try their darnedest to get it for you. Carry a lot of different brands, make sure you try out their house brand Bilt, I have been very happy with the boots and gloves I have from this brand. Went here last Sunday after passing the m&m motorcycle course. It's awesome because cycle gear has partnered with them that when you pass you show this card that you passed and cycle gear will give you 15% off one transaction. It is great if you are doing a big purchase. My boyfriend and I went in there because I was in need of a new jacket and some good gloves. I just got my bike a couple of weeks ago. Needless to say I had the pleasure of being helped by a employee named John. He has the most awesome carbon looking bike!!! It's sick. Well, I ended up getting a pink and white alpinestars jacket. They didn't have the matching gloves in my size and trust me he looked everywhere. He took his time. However he ended up ordering them for me and they came in yesterday. Good help very attentive! Great staff. They were honest and didn't try talking me into buying something i really didnt need.

The staff goes out of their way to take care of you as a customer and help make sure that they can find a item for you if they are out of stock. The location is right off the 91FWY at Lemon Ave so it is always to get in and out. As for the problems with the quality of a item it is a fact of life that you get what you pay for. You can always send a detailed letter to the cooperate office so that they know that their may be a issue and can look into it from the factory that is making the items for them. If you want a place to improve it can only improve for everyone if customers talk to manager and other members of the store to voice their thoughts. read more

Great Place & Great People! Brought my girlfriend to look at jackets for the summer season and was greeted by a rep named Lucas. I watched as he took the time to listen to what she wanted and expected from the equipment. After several option had been laid out he took the time to make sure she had other equipment that would protect her and remain to her tastes. I was expecting him to steer us to the high dollar items only but realized that he gave us the strengths and weaknesses of all the equipment so that we could decide. After all was said and done we only left with the jacket, but returned for riding pants that she looked good in and some gloves. Service SUCKS. The cons: The kids who work at the Fullerton store are punks! I was told "CASH ONLY" for dirt tire swap to paddle tire, and it seems as if the price varies depending on who's working. I was told $45 CASH ONLY! Or buy a new tire and we'll mount it for free. 4 months ago they changed it over for me and I was charged $25... what gives? This is not the first bad experience I've had here but I can tell you it will be my last... and I thought Berts was bad... Bought a pair of gloves from one of their stores. When I got home I noticed that the stitching one of them was starting to come undone. Brought it back the next day and was told that they could not just swap them out. I was told that it would have to be a warranty claim and that they would have to send them back to the manufacturer. I would have to wait about a week for an exchange. That was the best they could do? Decided to return them for a refund and just went elsewhere. I suppose that policy is in place to protect them from scammers, but it just left a bad taste in my mouth. Won't be doing business there again. read more

They've got a great selection of literally everything from cheaper products to bigger name brands. Last week I went in and brought my paddle tire in and they told me over the phone it was 15 dollars to swap it. Went and did it then brought dirt tires back in and they did it and then told me it was going to be 30 a wheel now and on top of that they didn't want to put my old tube back in and they don't allow you to bring your own tube in so I had to buy a tube from them and turned my 30 dollar purchase into a 100 dollar purchase just to put my tires on. Never going here again I'll just order stuff from Axxis motorsports down the road from them. On the phone they said it would be 15 originally, now they are saying it has to be purchased there to be 15... Complete waste of a drive read more

I'm so petite that Terrence had to find me kids' size everything but he was so patient and helpful about it! I'm still a noob so I had to purchase my jacket, back pad, gloves, and helmet. Everything was at a reasonable price especially for a college budget. Terrence made sure everything was on snug and fit correctly. I had gotten a small helmet 2 days before but I realized I'm an extra small and they have a 7 day policy for helmet returns even if you don't have a receipt, they'll check in the system. read more

Tire price, installation price, and speed of work is poor. I wanted brought my wheels in and they couldn't mount tires because there were two installs ahead of me. I ended up buying tires from HB Honda and they mounted them in less than 30 minutes for $10 less. read more

I came to cycle gear today to buy a helmet. I have never bought a helmet so I don't know how they're supposed to fit. Luckily Kelsey was there to assist me with all my questions and found a helmet that's not only highly rated but a perfect fit. She assured me that in the next 7 day period I can exchange for a smaller size, if the one I purchased ends up breaking in too big. Cycle Gear's prices on average deviate very little from online retailers (ie, very little markup). The only difference is tax. Having that said, I like the fact these guys mainly hire seasoned riders and they won't hesitate preventing customers from buying the wrong gear despite losing a sale. I was about to buy a $500 Dainese jacket until I informed one of their associates I was commuting 60 miles a day in LA traffic. The associate immediately told me this was the wrong way to go and insisted on $400 Alpinestars jacket instead that offered significantly more airflow. Not only that, they stand behind their products as one associate explained to me that if my jacket's zippers failed they will usually take care of the problem beyond the warranty clause. Customer service has never been an issue and usually swing by to buy parts every other week so I consider myself a regular. Turn around on tire changes is longer than most average shops, but you can't beat the prices at Cycle Gear either. Overall the staff is honest and very knowledgeable which is the most important issue for me. Don't hesitate to swing by this store for any of your motorcycle needs. read more
