Never told my screen would look like this with polarized sunglasses on!

The screen works on my iPhone XR, but I lost water resistance, auto brightness, and the TrueTone feature. Immediately when I walked in they were harassing me to purchase a $50 screen protector, which I ordered on Amazon for $4.99, and came the next day. I was not informed that I would loose any functionality of the phone, until after the repair was completed. They took 100% payment upfront, which I found very suspicious. The tech misrepresented the business by saying it will be "just like Apple." Which obviously, was a lie. If anyone is considering using this business, I recommend just going to Apple. You will spend $70 more, but you will at least be going with a business that stands behind their work, and the peace of mind that comes with it. I have now filed a chargeback with my bank. Their replacement screen also has a yellow tint to it! EDIT: After putting on my polarized sunglasses, I can barely see the screen! Everything looks like a rainbow! Downgrading this review to one star.

The Cyberion tech and sales team.

So very thoughtful, diligent, and helpful. I really know they are the best. I am very happy that Cyberion is the real deal. My daughter needed her iPad fixed while at college. They had it ready with great attentive service. Thank you Luxse!!!!

You won't find any better repair shop. Came here for the first time and met this guy named Mukit, a highly knowledgeable, professional and friendly guy who fixed my cracked iPhone screen in less than 15 MINUTES!!!!!! Yes 15 minutes! The phone looks good as new! They also carry high quality phone cases! Affordable pricing! Would definitely recommend this place! Best quality for your bucks! Thanks Mukit! Keep up the good work! :)

Sold me a fake JBL Flip 4. On a JBL clip 4 there is no M button on it. The JBL logo on it is also cheap as well and can fall off.

I'm back! Thanks guys!

I previously read that the Face ID sensor couldn't be fixed, but they said they would give it a try. They took my phone for a week but was not able to fix it. Even though I didn't get my phone fixed (it's not their fault not even apple does this repair) the customer service was second to none. I would bug the manager almost everyday about my phone and he always kept me updated and kept and open dialogue.

Normally I am not rash, and churlish enough to toss my phone on a carpeted floor expecting it to land safely. No it bounced and hit the frame of a antique sewing machine, so perfectly that it cracked the screen...okay confession over. So this process took a week and 3 trips. I am willing to accept that some of the overall length of time is "supply chain" [they didn't have my screen model in stock]. However my only knock is the said they would call and never did. I called a few days into the wait. Young man said it was there, so I made the trip (not that far, but still not without hassle). When I arrived he looked around (I would argue that should have been done when I called) and was told to come over. All good we all make lazy mistakes sometimes. Young man was otherwise professional and polite. Anyway the work was done correctly, phone looks like new and $100 lesson in being an impulsive dolt was worth it. Lesson learned, get more sleep during the week, get some exercise, manage stress better so you don't have to go through this first world problem, a dumb problem to create for yourself.

There was a consult/diagnosis fee, but they count this towards your final repair cost at the end, so it's free as long as you are getting your item fixed. Gadget Guru was able to fix our drone for less than the cost of having to buy a new one and we are so excited to have it back and running again :) There were unexpected delays in supplies of drone parts which we would have experienced ourselves as well (the times we live in). They reliably called with updates and thanked us for our patience. Great communication regarding what they found to be wrong and what they would be replacing to fix the problem, with time estimates as best they could :) I will definitely be a return customer with any other electronics in need of repair. Friendly, courteous service, with business hours late enough I can still reach them after work when needed. Completely recommend the Columbia Gadget Gurus :)

Final verdict good customer service lack luster overall job.

I brought my iPad Pro 12 to The Fix Tech Repair in The Mall in Columbia, MD on October 3, 2026,…read morefor a screen replacement. When the technician handed it back, he claimed it was fully repaired and ready to go, failing to run any basic diagnostic tests or disclose any risks. When I got home, I opened the iPad and immediately found that Face ID was completely broken--likely because they tore or damaged the delicate Face ID ribbon cable or TrueDepth sensor assembly during their careless disassembly. I returned to the store the next day and spoke to the technician, who admitted he failed to disclose the risk beforehand. He stated this was not a problem and that they would fix it at no cost by sending it to their shop in Sheepshead, NY. They notified me on October 16 that it was ready, but when I went back to the store on October 17, 2026, the same technician I initially spoke with admitted he never disclosed the possibility of the Face ID or ribbon being damaged during the repair. Instead of taking responsibility, he just wanted to hand me back the broken iPad and immediately hid behind their store's "no refund policy." When I asked if there was no way to get a refund, he went and called the owner, Atilla Hafizoglu. The technician ultimately told me Face ID still doesn't work and cannot be fixed (likely because Face ID components are cryptographically paired to the logic board by Apple, and third-party shops lack the capability to reprogram them once damaged). Furthermore, upon close inspection, the device now suffers from physical damage caused by crude workmanship, including visible gaps between the screen and outer housing as well as new nicks and marks along the aluminum frame. When I requested a full refund, Atilla refused to make things right. He tried to weasel his way out of responsibility by citing their "no refund policy," and insultingly offered to fix a power button on a completely separate iPad of mine instead of making me whole for the device they ruined. Under Maryland Consumer Law (Md. Code Ann., Com. Law § 2-314 and § 13-301) and Maryland consumer protection regulations, merchants cannot enforce a "no refund policy" to disclaim liability for defective workmanship, failure to disclose material risks, or unfair trade practices. Save your money, protect your electronics, and take your business anywhere else.
