Just arrived back home here in Maryland and while I was gone I cracked my screen. Messaged this shop around 1130pm and the owner Luxse K. replied within 10 minutes of my message. I was so surprised with his speedy response and he gave me a great deal for my iPhone 6+ replacement screen with a screen protector. The best part is they're located within 10 minutes of Fort Meade. Winning! Once I arrived one of his employees knew I was coming in and got my phone and fixed my problem in less then 30 minutes. The businesses in the mall should be thanking this shop because most people drop their phone off and window shop but most of them come back with a few items from different stores. Very professional owner with a great staff and a speedy turn around. What more can you want? This place ripped me off!!! Terrible absolutely terrible customer service! I came here months back to fixed a shatter Apple Watch! The screen was fixed, just for me to return months later because the screen was lifting. He put glue on the watch and told me it was repaired, I wasn't quite convinced! A couple weeks later, the screen lifted and when I returned today, he first told me I needed to repair the battery, then later he said I need to repair the belt, and asked for $199. This was never an issue in the past. I argued that the screen continued to lift and that I needed to get the screen repaired since that is what I originally paid for. Great place and great staff. I came here one day to look for a mic and these guys did a fine job of tending to my needs. The thing I like about them is that they actually consult with you about your problems/needs to come up with a solution in the form of a product. I'm planning to create YouTube videos for fun and needed a mic for that. So I came here hoping to find just that. Immediately as I walked in I was greeted by their owner: Luxse. He asked me why I needed a mic and I told him about the YouTube thing. He gave me some advice on picking the right mics at an affordable price and it soon led to a talk about life. Amazing experience tonight at Cyberion. I came in with an older iphone 6 that could no longer hold a charge. After replacing the battery, they noticed that the screen now had a flicker. Luxse stepped in and did some checking, and determined the screen cables did not appear damaged. He swapped the screen with a new one, at no extra charge, and threw a brand new screen protector on it as well. I will definitely be coming back for any other future repairs. I cracked/shattered my iPhone 4 screen. I called to see if they could fix it and she made me an appt within the hour and my phone was fixed within 45 min. Service was great and they even recommended a good case to avoid further problems with my phone. Very pleased with the service received. Beware of this store my phone has never been the same after they repaired my screen. I have video footage of every time they tried to fix their mistakes of my screen and how it never work the same. I have an iPhone X and it only had it for a few months after cracking my screen and I brought it here to be fixed. After getting the phone fixed by them my screen glitched and jumped all over the place the screen also blacked out a few times. I thought giving me a screen protector would change everything but he didn't. I am a student finishing up my cyber security studies. On a recent trip tsa tore through my clothes and tried to hack into my MacBook Air laptop. Unfortunately it looked liked they used a hammer and chisel to get in. This place is absolutely awful to say the LEAST. I just got back from there with my brother who had been there 3 times in 3 weeks prior. This was his 4th trip. This is what happend from the begining: Brother takes iphone 5 in for an outer back frame replacement. They replace the frame with a used frame purchased from their store. Brother gets home an hour away and the power/lock button and bottom volume rocker button do not work. Brother takes phone in for a SECOND time to have them fix their mistakes with the power and volume buttons. Brother gets home and the external speaker doesn't work at all. Brother takes phone in for a THIRD time to have them fix the speaker which they had messed up and they said they replaced it with a new speaker. Speaker sounds like complete garbage compared to a standard iphone 5 speaker. (We compared the to my brand new iphone 5 speakers by listening to standard ringtones on each phone side by side) My iphone was just replaced by Apple last week so i KNOW MY speakers work. The guy shrugged his shoulders and changed the subject. Also, the front facing camera is not working now. I went in to the store with my brother tonight for the FOURTH and final trip to have them fix both the faulty speaker and the front facing camera which had previously been working, in addition to his power/lock button and bottom volume rocker. Keep in mind: THE ONY THING THAT WAS WRONG WITH HIS PHONE WHEN HE ORIGINALLY TOOK IT IN FOR SERVICE WAS THE FRAME. The guys in the store were less than helpful. They refused to do anything but give him a discount on their overpriced cheap accessories. (For example-my brother had purchased a case from them while waiting for them to continuously messed up his phone; only to find out later that the same EXACT phone case was available for purchase at FiveBelow for $5!!!!) Also keep in mind that the location of this store is located an hour from my brothers home. There is a $4 toll each way. The amount of time he has spent going to and from the store and waiting for their "repairs", fighting for parking and gas has tallied up to about $200 (including the original repair of the frame). If my brother had just bit the bullet and paid the $250 to Apple for his orginal repair and not tried to give his business to the "little guy" he would not have had nearly as much stress and he would have a working phone. I went to an apple appointment with my brother yesterday. They were willing to replace all of the internals of his phone-including the screen and front facing camera (except the back frame)-until they opened it up and said that there was now corrosion so bad on his phone that it would MAYBE last a few months and that there is a chance that it can stop working all together(this is how i know they did not clean his phone at all while it was open for repair.) Nonetheless, he has voided his standard 1 year standard factory warranty on his 3 month old iphone 5 by having the slightest confidence in these guys. I would recomend that you ONLY use ANY third party repair service for your Apple products as a very LAST RESORT. At the end of the day this place is the biggest rip off and just a waste of time. They don't really seem to know what they are doing or the importance of backing their service. They do not even clean your device when you take it in for service. I am so happy that I found Cyberion. They went above and beyond my expectations in providing a very fast MacBook Pro battery replacement. In these Covid times, I need my laptop for virtual - y everything. I went to the Apple genius bar in Columbia on Monday where they tried to convince me to buy a new Mac because my late 2013 15" machine is considered "vintage." My baby has served me well and I'm not ready to throw it in the recycling heap just yet! The Apple genius people told me it's not likely they will be able to source a battery and if I am lucky, I could have my laptop back in a week. I Googled Authorized Mac Repair and set up an appointment on Tuesday with Cyberion. Mr Khanh promised me that if I paid then, I could drop off my laptop on Wednesday and pick it up before my class on Friday. They were able to have a new battery shipped to them and my laptop was repaired in less than 24 hours! Mr Khanh came in on his DAY OFF - a Thursday - just to fix my battery. So I went to this location a year or so ago and wanted to get my screen fixed. The price was cool, so I decided to go with them. But then the sales clerk proceeded to tell me to unlock my phone and wanted the serial number. Didn't understand why you needed that to fix a screen, but what did I know. They did a great job fixing my screen, but then the service was blocked on my phone. When I contacted my service provider, they informed me that there was a block on my phone because the phone hadn't been paid off. I had that phone for A WHOLE YEAR! How in the world did they allow me to use the phone and then suddenly after I got it fixed, it's blocked?! It's hit and miss for me. It kind of depends on the particular people working that day, I think. One day I went in and they did a great job putting a screen protector on my iPhone 7 at a reasonable price. A few days later I went in (different employees) with an iPhone SE also wanting a screen protector, and they couldn't find any clear ones (just darkened protectors). Seems odd they couldn't find what I need for a popular phone form factor (iPhone SE, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s). They had no advice on what I should do. Odd, since they're supposed to be the experts. Upon arrival I showed the rep what the issue was with my phone and he said they would be able to fix it but I would need a new battery and screen repair since the issue is with my battery as well. He stated it would take 30-40 minutes to complete so I decided to walk around the mall to waste some time. 45 minutes later I came back and my phone was done. The screen was fixed the battery was replaced. I did notice some minor scratches on the side of the phone that was not there before i gave it to them but It didn't bother me to much. What I did not like was the fee. It cost $169 for a battery and to fix the screen which I think is way too much but they did get the job done. read more

The drive is worth it I have an iphone 4 (ancient, I know) and I shattered the screen on it this past summer. I looked up reviews and had it repairs at Cyberion in August. Ever since then, my phone was acting odd - much slower, trouble and delays with touching buttons and getting a response, etc. I just assumed my phone was slowly dying because it was so old. I was wrong. Eventually the bottom cm of my screen stopped working, which pretty much prevents you from using any app. This was at the end of November. Cyberion was closed due to remodeling (thankfully), so I went to iFix in Rockville instead. When the technician at iFix returned my now fixed phone to me, he showed me the 'new' screen Cyberion had put in, which had scratches all over the back of it, right in the spots my phone was having delays and where it eventually stopped working. iFix also fixed my phone for $30 cheaper. When Cyberion reopened, I brought the old screen they installed to them and inquired about it, but they told me I was S.O.L. because they had been closed, so although I would have been under their warranty still, they would not do anything about it now. I also asked about the botched job they did in the first place, and they denied it saying I couldn't prove that caused my phone to stop working. Hello, My name is Odedra Settles I bought a (what I was told to be an unlocked Samsung verizon galaxy note 3) from the cyberion in Arundel mills on December 2-2017. When I tried to add the version services on the phone I was immediately blocked because I was informed the phone was locked. I informed Verizon that the place I bought the phone from told me it was unlocked and I wouldn't have any problems and assumed thought it was a reputable establishment. So I told them to try it again and again they told me it was locked and that it was under AT&T and that I should take it back to the owner of the phone. I have never been so humiliated in my life. So I proceeded to call AT&T they told me all the data was at it max on the phone and that it was locked as well. I also called the (1888) number on the inside of the phone and they proceeded to tell me that the device I bought from cyberion was also locked and not capable of switching to any other cellular company. On Friday the 8th of December I called cyberion to Inform them of what I was told by 3 different companies. I was told by an employee to come up to the store so that I could speak to the owner. When I got there he told me the owner was nowhere to be reached, and that I should come back on Monday. At this point I'm upset at the fact that I spent $225 dollars of my hard earned Christmas money on a phone that was locked and not a single employee seemed to care. Here it is Monday December 11-17. and I'm back and again I am given the run around with a come back tomorrow which would be Tuesday December 12th. So at this point it has become ridiculous and who would not be upset with bad customer service that I am given once again. The employee that was working at the time was very rude and told me to get out of the store it was shameful. This is Christmas time and I am very surprised at the type of customer service that I was given because it was terrible and I felt discriminated upon. Not even the owner would help me At this point I just wanted my money back because I know now that this is not a establishment that want to spend my money on. I got home opened it and realized it was really 3 ft and when plugged it in it do not support my my iPhone. I tried to return the the charger and I was told I could only exchange it.... I cracked my iPhone 4 screen a few days ago and was so overwhelmed with buying a new phone that I did not realize I could just have the screen fixed for a smaller purchase. As told by a friend, Cyberion could fix my phone screen for a reasonable price. When I walked in I was greeted by two friendly employees, Luxse and Denil. Both were very helpful and eager to get to work on fixing my iPhone. As I ventured off to Starbucks to get a coffee, which is not far away from the shop, I was told the fix would only take 25-30 minutes. Not having a watch I cannot be positive of the exact time but upon my quick return the phone was already done and waiting for me. I do not understand these previous reviews but I can tell you from my experience, I will be returning and referring Cyberion to friends who find themselves out of luck with a cracked screen. Went to see about it being fixed and store was closed..sign said re-opening November...well, it was November and it was still closed. Be very careful with this store and it's repairs. In December I went to this store to repair my iPad as I had some cracks in the screen. Now I have about a 0.2 mm dead area along the left side of my screen, a few random dead spots in the middle of the screen, and periodically my iPad requests me to re-enter my Apple ID and password. To fix these issues I will have to pay twice what I paid this store. Not to mention at this point I can't get a refund from the store even though I have contracted them by phone and by email. I'm really upset! Saturday I went to this location to get my cracked screen fixed. They fixed the screen fine; however, something is wrong with my phone now. It keeps asking me for my passcode over and over. I entered it, changed my password, confirmed it, now my screen keeps disabling my phone without me even entering my passcode. Something is truly messed up inside and now I'm going to lose all of my photos. I even went back in the store today hoping they could reconfigure whatever they messed up. Terrible place does not even begin to describe this store. I had my phone's LCD screen fixed here for quite the hefty price and within a month or two the screen started to become unresponsive. Eventually the screen went black and when I went back to the store they lied to me that I had done my repair 5 months ago in order to say the warranty time period was far over when I had clearly just had this fixed a month or two ago. Furthermore, since the repair I had been very careful with the phone and never dropped it so my phone had no reason to malfunction. My phone was not even a year old. The people here would not cooperate and service was terrible. They blamed me for the phone and implied that I had been lying about not damaging the phone. They gave me contact information to the store owner; however even then I could not contact the owner and have been sent on a round about endless journey of being forwarded while getting nowhere. I absolutely advise taking your phone somewhere else to have a screen fixed. I went to this store to fix my shattered iPhone 6, which they did do. I then purchased a screen protector that they advertise to be invincible for about $40 extra. The entire transaction totaled to be $200, which I found to be pretty pricey but went ahead with because the associate I worked with seemed professional and reliable enough. It took them about 30 minutes in total to fix my phone. Five days later I notice that my phone screen is actually falling off. Fortunately, the store offers 30 days of warranty so I went back to have it fixed which they happily did for me. The next day, I noticed that I'm unable to hear anyone through the top speaker during a phone call which is pretty much the most essential feature of a phone. After discovering this, I was pretty frustrated and incredibly irritated so I decided to investigate my phone further. I noticed (which I'm blown away that I hadn't noticed sooner) that they actually removed the expensive screen protector when I took it in the second time for them to fix the mistake they had made. At this point, I'm pretty furious and won't be so friendly when taking it in tomorrow. Although the customer service is decent, they do a very poor job at doing their actual job. I'm in disbelief that they'd remove the screen protector that I paid them for and that is enough for me to leave only one star. I'd leave zero if I could. After paying and leaving my iPod with them, they took 16 days before they told me that they couldn't fix my iPod but are still charging me $35. I cracked the screen of my Galaxy S5. I did some research on how the screen is repaired/replaced and found a good video on YouTube that shows the entire process. After seeing this video I realized that the process to replace a screen is actually very complex and requires tools and skill I do not possess. There are actually two choices for the fix, if the lcd is still good, just replace the screen. If there is damage to the lcd also, replace both. I called around and the first place said that they only replace both, which is a lot more expensive. $230 to $270 for to replace both versus $100 to $170 for screen only. Screen only repair cost depends on the severity of the cracks. More tiny cracks requires more time/work to remove the old screen. I called Cyberion and they gave me the option of just replacing the screen so I decided to go with them. The sales staff said it would take about an hour to fix. I came back an hour later and the phone was fixed. Look as good as new. I had some problems with the phone going dark a week later. I took it back to the store and explained the issue and they fixed the issue within the hour. There was an issue with excess glue from the first repair that was easily fixed. The sales staff was professional and courteous. The workspace where they work on the phones is right there in the back of the store. While I wasn't happy that I had to make two trips, it definitely seems like they know what they are doing. Even met the president of the company, Luxse on the second trip. They definitely care about their customer service. I would definitely consider using this company for future repairs (hope i don't need any!). Only wish they had a location in Annapolis so the trip would be closer. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the extra trip.
