Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Around 1:30 PM today, two cashiers looked like they absolutely didn't want to be there and had no patience whatsoever. One of them, in particular, was especially rude and unprofessional toward an elderly customer who was simply trying to make a purchase. I will definitely be avoiding this location. read more

July 2023: Red flag PSA - pharmacy filled prescription incorrectly Got a notice that this CVS had a prescription for our daughter. We don't use this location and the script was nothing we had ever seen or discussed with any doctor. Could not reach the pharmacy by phone. Found out that one of their "floaters" had filled a prescription and then incorrectly tagged it to our child. Slow or rude service is inconvenient. Incorrect scripts is a red flag and could get someone killed. Please double check any scripts you pick up from here with online pictures of your medications to make sure they are correct. read more

May2023: 3: I was sent over to this store as a result of no one answering the phone from another pharmacy. The front signage of this specific CVS is toned down from the bright red that you normally see. I approach this location from one of the side streets adjacent to the front of the building. This entire area is extremely busy with vehicle traffic. There were very few parking spaces in the front area and there were several handicap spaces available. The entrance of this location is suitable for the way the store is laid out. There was one worker in the store not wearing uniform insignia, but he saw me looking around the store and asked if he could help. He pointed me in the right direction and he kept moving. When I arrived at the store location I heard the phones ringing without being answered by workers as the pharmacist from the location that sent me here tried to call. No one here was answering the phone in this store. The store was well stocked and appeared to be neat and orderly. read more

I have called the pharmacy at this particular CVS many times, it is where my family and I fill our prescriptions. I will be on hold for 40 minutes, 45 minutes, 50 minutes... One time after being on hold for about 45 minutes I was cut off. Another time, after being on hold for about the same amount of time, an employee came on the line, told me to come into the store and hung up on me. What if I were disabled, or were taking care of an elderly parent or had a sick child? Other pharmacies do not take this long to pick up their phones. People, we need to stop using this pharmacy!!! read more

I wanted to share the experience of one of my two daughters who worked at this CVS. It is a challenging place to work--we all know the CVS coupons don't work due to some inexplicable restriction that applies, the computer system is archaic, the management doesn't staff appropriately, and that you will receive a text from the pharmacy that your Rx is ready only to find out it is not there when you arrive.... However, when this location was audited this week, my high school age daughter was the one that was selected to be interrogated by the auditor over $40 of 'unauthorized' coupon approvals over the last year that were NOT authorized by a MANAGER. She was actually interrogated with the manager present UNTIL she admitted she had behaved inappropriately, had the $40 taken out of her paycheck, and was told to go home 'on notice.' Mind you, this is a National Merit Scholar and active church youth group member known for her quiet kindness and compassion for all. CVS should not be allowed to treat their employees like this or their customers the way that they do. I'm switching to Walgreens. read more

This is the by far the WORST pharmacy I've ever been to. Changing pharmacies immediately. I gave it multiple chances thinking I'd get different results. Nope. There are one or two employees that work in the pharmacy that are decent people, but mostly everyone working there has an attitude and is very rude to the customers and for some reason are very loud when talking about your personal info. I've waited in lines that wrap around the aisles for very long times. And it's every time I go. The other day I thought I might try the drive -thru, bad mistake! There are two lanes, the first had someone in it so I went to the available second lane. I'm waiting and waiting and see the guy helping the first lane and looking at me. He finally screams the second lane is closed. There's no sign and the intercom still works with a recorded cvs message saying welcome someone will be with you. Frustrated, I pull around and get behind another person in the first lane and have to wait for them now. I finally get to talk to the "kid" working and ask for my stuff. I politely say " you guys should probably put a sign saying the second lane is out of order" . He then gets so flustered and yells "the second lane has been closed for ever" I said how was I supposed to know that? He then slams the drawer with my ID and says you're gonna have to come in, and walks away. I just waited there for another ten minutes until someone else came and got my stuff. That "kid" who's probably barely 18 and wears oversized glasses , blond stringy hair and he talks very loudly, is probably not the best person to put back there helping people who are possibly sick or sensitive and need compassion when dealing with pharmacies like this. You should fire everyone there and start over. Reevaluate immediately read more

Truly the most disagreeable pharmacy. Indifferent service from employees who don't care about customers.

Pharmacy understaffed. If you have an excellent manager, but corporate won't listen to her staffing needs, then you are stuck as the customer, on hold for literally over an hour without ever anyone answering.Their manager is very competent. But CVS has come to stand for "Can't Verify Satisfaction". This is a Regional District Supervisor mistake, not the manager's. Nevertheless, i've been waiting for a week for a script that hasn't arrived, and yet again, cannot get through to anyone in pharmacy no matter how long I wait on hold. Whether it's 30 minutes before I hang up, or 90 minutes, they lose business. BTW, their hold music is the worst. Maybe if they played something appealing, I'd wait 2 hours, and get through to a pharmacist.It is a very serious problem. read more

We had the worst experience at CVS the lady purposely raise the price on a item and she told us to leave and hurry up we were doing nothing. The price was 27$ but she raised it to 31$ so we left. I'm sorrry that one is the lowest number you can give a place, because this place is deserving of a negative, and its primarily because of the PHARMACY!!! First of all, they NEVER pick up the phone when you call and, when you complain to the manager, they are indifferent and respond that they are short staff. Well, genius, hire more people instead of trying to squeeze every penny of profit. In addition, because of the short staff, expect to wait AT LEAST a half an hour when picking up a prescription no matter what day or time of day you go. Finally, they used to promise to fill your prescriptions in an hour, now you're lucky to get them filled in a day. I'm not exagerrating when I say I had a doctor's appt on noon on a Friday and was prescribed a medication. Knowing that it probably wouldn't be filled that afternoon, I showed up at 11:00 on Saturday morning. To my shock, it STILL HADN'T BEEN FILLED, and I had to return again on Sunday. CVS claims to "care" about their customers but, with this indifference and middle finger toward customer service, clearly they only care about the bottom line. My advice, go to Walgreens. read more

Today I went into the store to purchase band-aids. At the pharmacy section there was a young man without a mask. I asked the employee who waited on me why they would wait on him without a mask. I suggested that she have a supervisor tell him that he needed a mask. Nothing happened. I called to speak with the manager, and got a supervisor. She started by saying that she welcomed me to CVS, where the customer was the prime concern. I don' t think so! read more

I like almost all CVSs (mostly because of the coupon thing), but I particularly like the one here because of the ladies in the cosmetics section. Other CVSs, in my experiences, do not have such ladies. Is it because of the women's college nearby? Because we are in one of the richest suburbs of Boston? I don't know, but they make it feel a tad classier, they really know their products, are spot-on when helping you pick out colors, and, if you really can't decide, they may open a product and let you sample and -- get this -- not act coldy or disappointed when you decide to not buy it. Wow. And one time, this elderly lady seemed confused and upset about something and kept repeating herself in a rather annoying manner -- but the cosmetic lady was so sweet and patient with her. I was impressed. And this last time, I had 3 CVS coupons, and I think you are supposed to use them separately. But I the lovely lady at the counter let me use all three AND the one the cosmetic lady had gaven me (even though it was not for the exact product I had gotten). She saved me almost $15!!! Always claen, always well stocked, always helpful. And right next to my favorite grocery store in New England. read more

Absolute fail. Used to be a good pharmacy several years ago but has gone way, way downhill since then. Not enough pharmacists for amount of patients. I recently switched mail order pharmacies for my mom's meds and needed to fill short-term RX here to bridge the gap which I would pay out of pocket. I came in person with one week in advance to make sure there was time. Multiple phone calls during the week and delays - finally told on day 6 it was going through and would be filled. Went the next morning - not filled. Told because insurance wouldn't cover it. But that was the whole point of filling locally! Bridging the gap! Had to wait 30 mins for them to fill then (after being told it would be 15-20 mins) - which made me late for work. Poor communication, too many patients for pharmacists on duty, long wait lines. Go somewhere else. CVS you need to fix this. read more

Where do I start? Showed up with my Mother to pick up a prescription for her. They didn't receive it yet from the Dr., so they told us we had to wait. We had 2 insurance cards, one totally perplexed them... okay, fine. Waited and waited...much longer then the quoted time. Got the script, and checked out without issue... until...... My mother gets a confusing phone call from the pharmacy stating that she has someone elses health care card, she calls me because she thinks they told her she had the wrong medication. My mother has early dementia, I called the pharmacy immediately. On a Thurs am, I called and talked to a very rude female in the pharmacy. She had to put me on hold to find out what was wrong. At this point, I had NO IDEA we had the card. She was rude and unwilling to hear my concerns that she had the wrong medication. She just kept asking me for the card back... I told her I would look, gave her my # and was told that I would receive a call back at 3pm from the pharmacy mgr. No call back. I find she does not have the wrong medication, but did so on my own... (they never called back) My Mother calls me and tells me that she does have it. I call and explain that we have it, they tell me to mail it back. 2 days later I ask my Mother for the card. She does not have it. They called and said they would come by in the am to pick it up. My Mother who is hard of hearing waits and waits and waits... ALL DAY for someone to come. Finally in the afternoon, a man comes. He does not give a business card or anything, but offers her and my father a piece of chocolate (each). This is the worst CVS EVER. They are disorganized, rude, unwilling to resolve issue and had absolutely no care for my mothers time or her health given the possibility that she received the incorrect medication. All they cared about was getting the health card back... I will NEVER return to the location again and made the Dr. aware of what happened when we followed up today. I can't believe the guy had the balls to give my parents 1 piece of chocolate... did he eat the box for her on the way over? They put her and myself through alot of stress and anxiety... I went to CVS in Wellesley and all I got was CRABS!!- No not really but here is my story. Ok so I went and bought a bikini waxing kit. I got it home and opened up the package and it was USED. Hairy used strips and wax all over everything!! They put a used waxing kit for your BIKINI AREA back on the shelf to sell. It also had a pair of thong paper underwear in it (that waxers use) that was not supposed to be in there - it did not come with that kit. I was disgusted and went to return it. I spoke to the manager and told him how disgusted I was and after he laughed all he said was "oh somebody must have mistakenly put a return back on the shelf". ARE YOU KIDDING? I was livid. I expected more from a manager. I got to grab a new kit (which I opened and checked in store) and was on my way. I will never go to that CVS ever again. Check your items before you leave that store!!!!!! read more

At 7am, not much is open in Wellesley, or so it seemed. I pulled over, did a quick search, made some phone calls. Found it. I was on my way to a job and needed to replenish my first aid stuffs (read:had a cut that needed attention so I didn't bleed on somebody's house when I showed up) and didn't want to stop in the city cause nothing was really *on my way* to this job. This store opens at 7am! It's in the back of Linden Gardens, easy to find, lots of parking. The organization of this store is a bit strange. Not much like the stores I usually go to. But I found all the things I needed and only a few things I WANTED (read: didn't really need...) thus saving myself some cash. The lady who rang me up was really nice. She chatted a bit with me, and made sure I got everything I needed. If I wasn't in a rush I'd have asked where the other things I wanted were, whatevs, next time. read more

Much better store than the Wellesley Center location, yet not precisely as incredible as the Route 9 location. Yes, even a pharmacy can be a place that's more enjoyable to be at when it's new, bright, and happy. Even so, this store is super clean store and has very helpful staff. I have come in on numerous occasions when in the area, and recently came in quickly for cream cheese since it was way too expensive at Roche next door (unfortunately, they don't even sell that!). Coupon machine works and the huge seasonal section and large food section in the center of the store are pleasant and overflowing, while still organized all the time. They have a MinuteClinic, and even though the hours aren't the best, it is still more convenient for most Wellesley residents than making the further trip to Natick. I was impressed with service from the staff.... they did everything possible and asked every employee working to attempt to help me find what I was looking for on both occasions in which I was lost! Highly suggested..... I like the location in Wellesley Center, but this one is so much better that they are really not comparable (and then again, the one on Route 9 isn't comparable to either this or the center location). 4 stars. I've been going here since it opened. It's a nice store and things are pretty well organized, but lots of stuff that is advertised as on sale does not ring up as on sale, and rings up as the regular price. That's a pain, as it takes up even more of your time to correct, but my bigger issue is with the staff. They consistently make you feel like you are bothering them or something, or that it's YOUR fault. One supervisor (I think her name is Joan) is one of the rudest people I have ever encountered (she works/worked) in both Wellesley locations and every time I am forced to interact with her, she's just nasty. The worst experience at Linden St. CVS pharmacy by the pharmacist and the managing pharmacist(Tenzin). A patient was provided a electronic submission of a prescription for an antibiotic. The patient was 76 yrs old and has a tremor and his date of birth had either been written wrong or interpreted as a different number. The pharmacist (Unice) refused to fill his prescription even after they were called multiple times since the patient went there many times seeking his needed antibiotic and the doctor spoke with the pharmacist confirming the patient's phone number. The patient waited over an hour with multiple trips back and forth and no regard for the patient's time. All could have been confirmed with the patient's ID (which he had) confirming his home address and phone number. When I called to complain that the patient should not have been treated this way, the pharmacist and pharmacist manager both thought that there was nothing wrong with their behavior. There are no ethics here and would give them no stars if I could! read more

As a frequent shopper at this location, I find the front store staff knowledgable about the usage of coupons and the locations of products. I am most often greeted by at least 1 associate asking if I need help finding anything. I use the pharmacy for my prescriptions as well and have never had a problem. This pharmacy is however the busiest ones that I have ever been to so there can be a line at certain times. The staff is so nice and they always know my name and are happy to help or accommodate any needs. I love the drive through! As for the previous comment, CVS is not at all obligated to deliver prescriptions to patients, that's why there are mail order pharmacies. This CVS (by some incredible feat) does do deliveries as a COURTESY to some patients but this service just makes the pharmacy more confusing, busy and just adds more work and frustration for everyone. read more

CVS..this is the place! I thought you had me at hello! Wow just wow..this is the place where you come when you want to get sick and I mean real sick..let me explain! Read on folks...I was there today and believe you me there was an employee working at the front counter that was as sick as a dog..even more so! Who is the Manager here? Why they would let anyone come to work as sick as that is beyond me! This guy was even wearing a face mask..he would remove it to really hack away until his face was beet red! It was disgusting!! I mean I stayed clear of him and paid for my items at the pharmacy. I mean really..this sick employee was touching his mask that had a ton of germs on it then would touch your items to ring them up..not to mention touching the register and everything else..this store has sunk to a new low. Please people think twice before entering at your own risk. I cannot believe any store let alone where people go if they are sick to get better would allow an Employee of all people to be working there blazingly sick! I just cannot comprehend in words why they allowed him to come to work and why dear God wasn't he sent home? I bet he infected many today and that is truly unforgivable!! This is the closest pharmacy for me. However, parking is always pain as the lot is often completely FULL! And the line at the pharmacy is always backed up, no matter what time of day. So, I've begun to rely on the drive thru whenever possible and I think it's catching on because now there's frequently a line there, too. Despite the lines, there seems to be a flury of activity behind the counter! At least seven people in white coats from where I was standing. But not one single one of them has ever been in any sort of mood to interact with customers. I find that the folks behind the counter are very terse and robotic individuals. Each encounter leaves me feeling as if someone "pee'd on their Cheerios." Recently I was told that a prescription for one of my children was out of stock. Period. When they offered me no alternative, I pried a little. "What do you think I should do now?" They didn't seem to understand that question, so I pried further. Finally I was informed that they were "having difficulties with the manufacturer" and so they weren't going to have it any time soon, maybe 4-6 weeks. Still they offered no suggestions. I guess I was expecting them to say something like, "Here's what you should do..." or "You might want to try such-and-such pharmacy..." So there I am with a physician's prescription for my child and the pharmacist says, basically, "NO." Thanks very much! (That is sarcasm!) I drove directly to a Walgreen's slightly farther away and had the prescription filled in fifteen minutes by a very friendly pharmacist. Well worth the drive. Oh, and I got a parking space in actual proximity to the door. Lesson learned! Now I think that CVS Corp might just be kidding when they tell us that CVS stands for Convenience, Value and Service! read more

Quick turnaround, not fully stocked, awkward cashiers. Parking lot is nearly always full on the weekends. Deals are present and abundant. I've found that it is infested with annoying high schoolers and grumpy natives on the weekends. read more

I like this CVS particularly for the hours. Few places in Wellesley are open this early or this late. The one on Central St does not open until 8am! It's spacious, seems to have everything stocked. The pharmacy people are nice but service is hit or miss read more

If I could give no star I would. My daughter has been refused the filling of her prescription, which she must have everyday, by this pharmacy, and they do it with absolutely no compassion. She receives her prescription from an out of state provider. The first time they simply told her it's too late to fill per MA law. Despite appealing to them that it had just arrived they left her without medication for 2 days until she could find an appt with a MA doctor. Recently they filled a dated fill prescription by her Dr. And then the following month refused to, again, based on MA law. When she explained they had filled it in same manner last month they simply replied "Sorry you were mislead by that pharmacist". I find it unbelievable that at no time have these pharmacists made an attempt to educate out of state students, of which they surely have many, on MA law. If my daughter needs to take an Uber to get to another pharmacy I will make sure she does not have to give business to this CVS again. They obviously care very little for their customers. read more
