The rest of the store (aside from the dairy section) has your basic convenience store items - chips, "energy" (which means high calorie high fructose) drinks, charcoal for your grill emergencies, and lotto tickets if you're feeling lucky. This station, located right on Route 9 Westbound is the only actual decent gas station anywhere in this relatively long section of highway. The only others are all old and have no decent features (specifically speaking of the mini BP station on the other side of the street near the CVS, and the old Sunoco right there as well that looks like a complete junkyard, and the Cumberland Farms near Star Market that has no store and is always way overpriced). This is the best gas station, a Sunoco, with an Aplus convenience store with an ATM and all sorts of snacks, basic essential items, frozen treats, drinks, candy, newspapers and more. The Cinnabon machine is also cool (and something I haven't seen in awhile). Prices on gas are normally the lowest around, and even if not, they are consistently reasonable. Easy access off and onto the highway and even though there are only four pumps, they aren't ever THAT busy and I've only waited a minute or so for a pump at the most. Definitely the best option for gas near or on Route 9 in Newton, and if not, one of the best gas stations throughout the entire city of Newton. 5 stars for Sunoco!

This heavy set woman with gold glasses waited; on me on the night shift. I had several negative experiences with her . Due to her rudeness, horrific customer service adequate and low emotional intelligence . She is always on the night shift on my experiences. ( this information is so you can adequately identify this employee). Today she sold me scratch tickets at around 9:20 pm. I went over to the keno area to scratch them . It took me less than 4 minutes. I went back to cash and buy another . She said at 9:24pm literally 4 minutes later. " She did me a favor by selling me the tickets" , prior because they stop selling tickets at 9:00 pm. So giving her my hard earned monies is her doing me a favor . Geez Louise ! The lack of customer service skills is horrendous. The low emotional intelligence blows your mind away . Second incident: different day I go in to get a soda and snacks . I go to the register with this same cashier , to pay . She says I have to open the safe . That I need to back away . This made me feel uncomfortable. She should lock the door and open the safe not with customers inside .
