24 hr pharmacy should employ helpful pharmacists and staff- i called to check if they had the Med i needed before having my doctor resend in the rx because many pharmacy don't carry it, the pharmacist said bring in the Rx then we will check stock. I explained to him i can't keep calling dr for Rx to be sent to different places cuz they r out of stock, and cvs does not get deliveries on the weekend, i need the Med asap when will these people ever feel any empathy and show a little kindness to those that are suffering read more

1 star is for Denise in the pharmacy. I don't know what her problem is but every time I come in she is rude and always seems mad. At first I thought maybe she was having a bad day but it's every time I go in. She will literally walk away from you and not say a word. You are left there wondering what to do. Worst service. It took close to an hour to get a passport picture when I'm the only one in line for a picture. The staff was not prepared, camera didn't have battery, so it took time to change the battery; then the computer wasn't working properly so they had to restart it, which took over 20 minutes - just to restart the computer! It also took over 10 minutes just to print the passport picture. The staff acted with no sense of urgency, ignored my asks. It's a 5 minute activity, and they stretched it to almost 60 minutes- such a waste of customer's time! read more

Okay normally I don't have any problems going to this location pharmacy they were supposed to have my stuff already done and who ever put it in didn't put my whole order in then they told me I had to wait for a half hour to get it. I think their customer service stinks. it was 2 weeks ago I put this order in and they told me I have to wait till the 4th pick it up and then the whole thing is not there. They weren't very helpful. I really like this store but employee ROBERT does not have good customer service skills. He's very short with customers and does not try to be helpful. He does not seem to be happy to be there. I know it's a job but his unhappiness really shows. I dread going to checkout when he's there because of how rude he is. I don't understand how he gets away with this. If any of the managers saw his interactions with customers they would be appalled so I'm hoping this review sheds some light on this problem. This is the worst pharmacy! It's always understaffed and I went there to fill my husbands RX and the line to drop off was 6 in line and the employees don't look to move faster and management could care less about the amount of time it takes here. One person only helping anywhere and they are SLOW. I told my husband he needs to move his RX to another pharmacy. I've had it with this one!! I went there after the hospital ER thinking I could bring the RX, drop it off and pick up hopefully in a reasonable amount of time. I waited in line for 45 minutes, get to the front of the line to be told "we don't have that medication, we might get it tomorrow" I said well, take the RX and I'll pick it up tomorrow. They said because the RX was Norco for pain. They could not put it in the computer for pickup. I would have to bring my Rx back tomorrow and stand in line again and hope they have it then! I brought it to Walgreens and am picking it up there tomorrow, only because I was too tired to come back in an hour to get it. Not a CVS pharmacy fan!! read more

The pharmacy would not accept my insurance card even though the back of my card showed CVS coverage. She would not even call the 888 number for verification of coverage. I then had to pay the full dollar amount $70+, and get reimbursed from my insurance directly. NOTE: I have had my prescriptions filled at this pharmacy for years and never had problem. I have to give kudos to CVS on Foothill in Upland. It has become one of my favorite stores during COVID, good sale prices and very good customer service. Worst service ever. A cashier named Robert should either stay home or look for a job that he really enjoys. Has the nastiest attitude. Throws stuff at you if you don't get a bag or bring your own. The first time he was rude I just thought he was possibly just having a bad day. The 2nd time I got out of line and went to another register. And his attitude towards people was just rude. It's just sad that today as I walked out I overheard a lady and a gentleman talking about how rude their cashier "Robert" was to them. They said that they would be transferring their prescriptions to another cvs. That it was a bit further but they preferred the drive, than to deal with this person. Went in to buy toiletries. Had to ask to use restroom. Cashier unlocked it electronically. Worst restroom I've ever seen in my 65 years including all the gas stations when traveling. No toilet paper. No towels. No seat covers. Graffitti on everything. I can't believe an employee would allow a customer to even see that let alone be expected to use it. True also that prescription lines are very long. I'll be looking for a better drug store. Maybe Walgreens. Going to cancel my "care" membership I signed up for. The only upside is that it's open 24 hours. If you're picking up a medication everything is great. If you need to buy something over the counter good luck. They never have more than one cashier open. The line gets very long and they won't get help to speed it up. The last two times I have been, I've waited at least 10 minutes and the cashiers always let some cooky people hold up the line. The first time a customer was trying to return something and could not find the card she paid with, instead of pulling her to the side to look and maybe helping other customers they made everyone wait. The second time a woman spent a good ten minutes looking for coupons again instead of pulling them to the side the cashier again made everyone wait. Disrespectful. Incompetent. Poor Customers Service. I just had major surgery and I was treated like criminal because my doctor wrote a prescription for Norco. The pregnant girl with the horrible eye makeup was too concerned about conducting an interrogation and the whole lie about the bathroom being under construction really pissed me OFF. Like for real? YOU'RE pregnant and working in a facility without a bathroom. I was,so mad and in so much pain I had to be sent back to the car. Pros: 24 hours, cheap candy, 1-stop-shop if I'm going on a trip and need toiletries. Cons:This CVS definitely doesn't have enough people on staff at the pharmacy.They take forever to answer the phones, and get snippy when you call and ask them to help you with a mixup. Every time I get a refill I have to call them about not asking me before they switch me to generic. I work at a camp in the woods for 6 days each week over the summer. I come home for one day to do laundry, eat some real food, and once a month I have to get my prescriptions filled. Once, when I was trying to get back to work in the middle of the night, it took me over an hour to get to the pharmacy counter. No sleep for me! I usually flip back and forth between this CVS and the Upland Walgreens. However, this week I visited this CVS location to pick up some cough medicine. The cashier asked me for my birth date because California state law requires the buyer to be over 18. I thought it was kind of strange because I am in my 50's with some gray hair. It has been a few decades since anyone thought I was under 18. So okay, fine, I showed it to her. She then entered my birth date into the CVS register! That is when I realized why she asked since it was obvious I was over 17. It feels clear to me that they are using the state law to force customers to provide personal information that CVS can then retain, track and tie into the CVS Card database that they collect on each customer. They have a right and duty to verify the customer's age, but they do not have a right to misuse a state law to retain my birth date for unknown and unauthorized purposes. I understand that they think that by forcing me to provide my birth date allows them to target ads to me based on my age. They think they will make more money. I get it. But I also get that they need me a lot more than I need them. I can get everything I need at Walgreens without worrying that they might mislead me to obtain my personal information and use it without my permission. And something even more frightening - who knows what personal information the CVS Pharmacy is collecting about its customers. Frankly it just feels invasive and dishonest for a corporation to misuse a state law to drop a "Big Brother" moment on their customers. Just a side bit of information - a retail company that I had a credit card with had a security breech. My information was stolen and used for identity theft. I spent THREE YEARS trying to fix the damage. So I have learned to be very cautious when companies try to gather my personal information when it is not necessary. read more

I shop here at least once a week because it's in a convenient spot and is one of their better stocked stores but every time I'm in here I always swear it might be the last time. The cashiers have a major chip on their shoulder, I've always known this personally having once worked at this location to pay my way through college, but today it just really bothered me. I'm not one to need all the frills of customer service but the cashier today acted like he was above greeting anyone and like he was disgusted to touch my cash. Trust me, he looked like he hadn't showered in weeks so I didn't want to make hand contact either and was careful about how I approached the money exchange. I'm so over these people who obviously don't want a job working here they really ruin a perfectly good store. I was reminded of why I quit twenty years ago, a fellow cashier called me stupid in front of a customer because I didn't scan a .25 coupon and I just walked out. Came here at 1am to print out some pictures. The machine wasn't working and we asked this older gentleman for help. He had poor customer service and all he said was to use the other machine and we did. It worked fine but when we tried paying, our pictures didn't print. A worker named Michael helped us. He told us that he's the only one that switches the printing paper since other employees don't really seem to care about learning how to do it. Once the printer started working, it backed up and printed loads of pictures from other people trying to use it. Honestly, Michael seemed really down to earth and was willing to go above and beyond for you. Thanks to him, my bad trip here turned into a good one. He really deserves to be acknowledged and appreciated since he seemed like the only employee who knows and is willing to do his job. read more

I go to cvs primarily to print photos. I always order on line and get the best advertised promotion. I decided to print photos from my phone and not my computer so downloaded the app. It was super easy. Although the app would not accept the promo code. The error message indicated to get the discount in store so naturally did a screenshot of that message. Went in and cashiers would not honor promo code. Next day mgr. stated he would trash or damage out pics rather than honor code. Told me to go to Walgreens! Totally frustrating. Had 22 projects I've done in 18 mos. will never go back to the store that is dirty and rude always. read more

This pharmacy is one of the worst regarding timely prescriptions. THIS time I called around 4:05PM and they said that the prescription would be ready by 6:00PM, 6:30PM at the latest. The prescription was electronically sent to them at 3:50PM. When I called they said they just received it but no one put it "in the system." I went and arrived at the pharmacy counter at 6:45PM only to told that it had not been filled. They apologized and ten minutes later I was called over the speaker system. The problem has worsened over the years. Personally, I do not buy from them but my wife does. I'm the one who picks the prescriptions up and I have had the prescriptions filled and on time less than half the time. read more

HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE! This review is regarding the Pharmacy. What good is the automated phone refill line, the automatic refill program or reminder text messages when: 1. You have to wait in line up to 30mins or more because 1 checker is working: 2. Your meds aren't ready 3. They are out of stock of your meds & need to order more -with no notification call & no offer of loaners from other CVS to get you through They have screwed up on the pill count before. Perhaps that's because a checker has been allowed to count pills and bottle scripts? Or maybe it's because there's only 1 Pharmacist working but would rather join in on workplace gossip with the employees? I have heard from Multiple physicians and their front staff who hate working with this pharmacy. They fax refill auths but CVS claims they didn't get it or vice versa. Many elderly people get their scripts filled here and the customer service is terrible. They don't speak louder when one is hard of hearing & I watched a checker send a very elderly lady with mobility problems back to drop-off twice when the checker could have handled it. We won't even get into the HIPAA Violations! Although, I was glad to know the gentleman in front of me was taking care of his new case of Herpes. Smh. The entire Pharmacy Department needs to be revamped and re-educated. read more
