I came here today and wanted to mail a small package that just needed my label taped on, I encountered Bob very unhelpful horrible customer service he didn't help me with my package and basically pushed me to the side to do it myself. My package needed a piece of tape for the label he said he couldn't put tape on and didn't have tape there? Really? ? So I told him I have to drive back home for a piece of tape! Came in here because they are a "post office" Got overcharged for shipping and paid for insurance. Maria took my package and gave me "tracking" Two weeks later my buyer hits me up and says he never got the package. Confused I try to use the tracking number they gave me and it shows up Go into this "pharmacy" and they say they have no clue where it's at. They don't know if it was picked up or not and can't help me. Then why even be a post office? What benefit is there to this "post office" which has no accountability. Lastly I asked them to check their cameras and they told me none of them work. Wow! Super unsafe! I wouldn't get my meds or even take a dump here The pharmacy is old and dirty, look at the floors. Bob has been our neighborhood pharmacy for over ten years. He is a real nice kind man and his son, who became a pharmacist himself, is so kind and helpful. Our meds are always refilled on time. All I need is to call him and less than half hour later they are ready to be picked up. He is so helpful that sometimes he calls the doctor for us. Once I couldn't pick up my medicine and he offered to deliver it himself! I was so grateful. He is aware of the medication for all my family member and we always felt safe with his service. If I could give zero stars I would. I used to love coming here, because it was very convenient and close by my house. I walked in today, and was left standing at the front counter for about 10 minutes while the only individual working was on a personal call. I took in two packages to be returned and he told me the boxes had to be fully prepared before he could mail them out. I've taken several packages over the years, and the staff would always help me. He informed me he was the new owner, and that wasn't going to happen anymore. So much for customer service. This store/pharmacy/usps sub station is horrible. I've used numerous postal substations in the past with no problems. However this one doesn't deliver. Bob is stingy with stamps and only allowed purchases of not more than one roll or two 20 stamp packs. Consistently messes up on pricing for certified letters, requiring return trip and refuses to take credit cards. Only debit cards. Might work for residents, but not for business. Today he refused to take $100.00 bill because it was an old bill. Not because we asked for change, our charges exceeded $125.00 for all items. I checked the bill, it had the security strip in place. Asked if he had a counterfeit detecting pen and he didn't. Only reason we have returned in the past is due to closure of other substations. He yelled at his staff and humiliated the woman working the counter for stamping our mail before accepting money in front of customers. Felt bad for her. Obviously hasn't participated in State required Harassment training. If you're a business, beware if sending your staff to this location. read more

I went into this pharmacy about 10years ago and swore I would never go back. Yesterday, against my better judgement, I went back. The lady at the counter made it clear I was inconveniencing her, with the eye rolling (I asked for 97 postcard stamps, not 100. Which is what the lady was trying to make me buy, only have 97 postcards, I have nothing to put the 3 extra stamps on, you can't use them for letters). Then when I gave her a bday card, she made that ugh.....noise you make when someone really annoys you. I told her to forget the card, I will just buy the stamps since it was such an inconvenience. The eye rolling and ugh noises continued. During this incident my friend who was in the store with me had to leave and wait outside cause she was so mad at the way I was being treated she thought she may say something in my defense. I was not for sure if I was going to write a review on this pharmacy ....but I decided people need to know what they are in for. Everything started off okay, I been servicing that pharmacy with many many prescriptions for almost two years. A few little minor things happened but I overlooked it. I purchased two prescriptions with a check, a total of probably $40, there after I had too go into the hospital, unfortunately it was sudden and I was there longer then I expected. Since I had no one to handle my affairs while I was ill, some of my checks were returned by the bank. After being released from the hospital it took another couple of weeks before I was able to get out and about. I was informed by the owner Bob, that I had two return checks and that it would cost me $110.00, this included service fees. Being unable to work and earn any money, due to my illness, I went into the store and explain this to Bob, I told him and am very sorry for the inconvenience and I told him I would pay him $25 during that visit and the balance a week later. What happened next is unreal! The owner Bob jumped out of his chair, and began an interrogation as well as attempting to shame and argue with me ( I didn't give him the time of day to return his insults and/or argue with him) It became very loud, and ugly on his part, one customer even said "stop the fussing" mind you, I was a regular customer that came in every week or two because my entire family had scripts there, so it was not as though I was going to skip out of town with $80. The owner Bob even took it further and told me I needed to go get the money "now" he asked me "where is your husband, do you have one, how do you pay your bills and buy food". This man acted very very bad and unprofessional, this behavior went on for about 15 minutes and he didn't take me to the side and quietly discuss the matter, but he made sure the the whole store and maybe even the people outside could hear his insults. After all this I went to the post office they have there as I needed a stamp envelope, Which cost under $1.00, I didn't have any change and I wanted to use my debit card, the women said it would cost $1.25 to use my card ! I mean really? Already I was not feeling the best when I arrived at his store to pick up my two prescriptions, which he refused to release due to the check balance of $80, and I felt very worthless upon leaving his store. This is my empowerment..... Monday I am transferring all my families prescriptions elsewhere, I don't care if I owe you $1000., don't disrespect me! I'm a pharmacy manager at a different pharmacy and we had a patient of ours come over to transfer his wife's medication over to us from mountain plaza due to the very horrible service, the fact that he gets everything here, plus they live up here, a long distance from mountain plaza Unfortunately her mesication was billed through insurance over there, so we contacted the pharmacist over at mountain plaza whom i believe might be the owner, he was very unprofessional, said he's not going to release it becaus he ordered it for the patient and kept harassing the patient with phone calls,this only shows how money hungry this person is , not putting the patients health first, especially that the patient lives far from that pharmacy and will have to wait untill they travel over tomorrow or day after to get it, he was very rude and indecent, no wonder this pharmacy gets all the bad reviews And honestly the pharmacy i work at won't get affected by not filling a prescription here, on the contrary we are actually overloaded, it's just the attitude and misconduct of the pharmacist. I was having no luck shipping my papers to my Lawyer at Kinkos do to lack of ID I just got out of the hospital so I found this place up the street. First let me say the lady doing the post office and register was very very nice and polite. She was very helpful with my shipping needs and just turned my attitude around. I highly recommend this place if you need to ship post office. There were many people dropping off packages as well and no line compared to the post office. This is a mom and pop pharmacy and Bob Patel the Pharmacist was also very helpful to me asking me if I needed anything as I was sitting down to take a rest. This place has an awesome selection of greeting cards which all are 50 percent off so if you need cards go here to get them. They also have OTC Meds and supplies not a huge selection but they do have the necessary items. I bought thank you cards for all my nurses and was so happy with the cards I got. If I am in Upland again and need the post office or Med stuff I would go here before anywhere else because of how I was treated. When I get treated nice I always review and always return. I'm going to continue with the trend of "if I could give this place zero stars, I would". I have to say that I have used their post office services in the past and have continuously been disappointed with the terrible attitude of the post office clerk. In a moment of desperation, I decided to use them to mail a package to SACRAMENTO. I used an old amazon box that had a product UPC code on it; the grumpy post office clerk instructed me to fill out an address label and fold It over the edge of the box so that the amazon label would be covered, so I did. I paid for priority shipping and 2 days later, the package was delivered to MY HOUSE even though the label clearly showed the "To" address as SACRAMENTO. I returned to the store and worked with a gentleman that I assume to be the owner/manager. I was extremely upset and loudly expressed my dissatisfaction with the clerks bad attitude. During our interaction, the owner told me that because the label was bent over the corner the post office was unable to read it correctly. He applied a new label to my box and when I asked when I could expect it to be delivered, he said "your guess is as good as mine". No apology, offer of refund for the "PRIORITY shipping" or a tracking number provided. THE WORST PART...3 weeks later and my package still hasn't arrived at its destination!!! This little Pharmacy with postal services is settled back in a corner on the Southeast corner of the parking lot at the Stater Bros Center on 16th and Mountain Ave. I've only used it for the postal services and the staff are always helpful/friendly enough. The very old merchandise covered in dust makes it hard to take this place very serious as a gift shop though. My 3 stars is strictly based on my experience at the postal service counter. read more

Have used to USPS and UPS drop off for years. I've never had an issue until now but this one was too big to ignore. I went in on a Wed, there was nobody else there so it's not like it was busy. I asked the lady at the USPS counter if UPS still came in regularly for pick ups (I wanted to insure she knew it was UPS and not USPS). She said yes they did, so I handed her my package and said it was ready to ship. A week later when I hadn't gotten notification from the lab that they'd received my package I tracked it. (Yes it was lab work, so time sensitive). UPS shows the label never having been scanned. So I go back to the store to inquire. They could only tell me that they put UPS packages on one side of the counter and mail on the other. I asked what would happen if they accidentally gave it to the regular mail carrier. They had no idea. I left there and went down to the main post office. I was told it would go to the main sorting facility and UPS picks up there daily because it happens all the time. So if it had gone into the regular mail, it would still be in the system by now. The lab testing kit had cost me $160 and I can't even file a claim because it's not UPS' issue since they never even scanned it in. And my daughter that cannot stand doing anything blood related gets to do the test all over again! read more

I've been using this pharmacy for over 14 years. The pharmacist and technicians are kind, helpful and eager to explain any questions you may have of every medication they fill. They will go out of their way to fill your Rx while you wait and they also have Post Office and shipping services, which is a bonus. Also, they can accommodate you if you need a notary, they have a FAX & a photocopier, key making and other helpful services. Each employee goes out of their way to be friendly - I wouldn't go anywhere else. Currently, they are remodeling so don't let the appearance fool you.
