An alert went out for customer assistance to verify I was old enough to purchase that item. 25 minutes later, I was finally approved, and allowed to pay for my order. I'm 70 years old. I am the one to deal with them now and I notice things but out of respect to my mom we stayed. My mother had an urgent antibiotic called in by her dr one evening. When I called Baron Drug at 945 the next morning the woman at Baron Drug said they didn't have a prescription for her. So ALL DAY I was bugging her Drs office and at 430 PM I get a call from her drs office asking what's the problem the prescription is ready for pick up. When I called Baron Drug then they say yes it was ready by 943 am. Yet the woman at Baron drug had said earlier they didn't have it. All day my mother was suffering! It was attributed to a miscommunication or something. What does that mean. I told them I would have gladly stayed on hold for the person to actually look! Unacceptable, disrespectful and inexcusable. When I talked to pharmacist (person in charge?) I was underwhelmed by her response. Never again.

It's at the intersection of South Avenue West and Lincoln Ave West, diagonally across from a Bank of America and directly across from a Sunoco gas station. If you powerwalk and are lucky with the traffic signals, you can get here from the Cranford train station in under 10 minutes. Interestingly, this Walgreens has a pharmacy drive-thru, the exit of which coincides with the exit of the Chase Bank drive-thru--which necessitates the two stop signs inside the parking lot. Most customers will likely park on the Lincoln Ave side of the building, where the main entrance is. The interior of the store is organized, well-stocked, and like many other Walgreens locations has a small photo center in the front, a pharmacy in the back, and all the seasonal promotional merchandise in one of the center aisles. What annoys me a bit is that contact lens solution and eye drops aren't located with other OTC pharmaceuticals, but next to the ice cream case. Kind of seems like an afterthought. If I could give them a negative 1,000 stars, I would. -- Absolutely unacceptable service, dishonest…read morestaff, and ridiculous excuses I ordered 4x4 photo prints from this Walgreens, and my experience yesterday and this morning has been beyond frustrating. First, when I picked up my order, I asked to check the prints before paying and discovered they were printed on 4x6 paper and completely uncut. When I brought this to the employee's (Aali's) attention, he tried to claim that "Walgreens expects customers to cut their own pictures." When I called out that absolute nonsense, he claimed the manager, Douglas, said the exact same thing. When Douglas finally came out from counting money, he doubled down on this ridiculous excuse, acting like customers are supposed to do the store's job. Aali then claimed he couldn't cut them because he had to do shipment, or that he was afraid he'd mess up. Meanwhile, the customer right before me had issues with her order too as the staff struggled to find it. When I came back this morning (September 19), I spoke with Eddie, who confirmed what I already knew: there is no such policy requiring customers to cut their own pictures, and the look on his face told the whole story. Eddie offered a 25% discount, but after being lied to, deceived, missing my pictures for my event yesterday, and dealing with pure laziness and incompetence, a 25% discount doesn't cut it. Walgreens either needs to invest in printers that properly cut 4x4 sizes or train your employees to actually do their jobs instead of making up foolish policies on the spot. I expect these prints for free after the runaround I've been put through.

Yesterday my 19 yo daughter went to pick up a prescription that her pediatricians office sent over for her. When she arrived, John (official title now being best pharmacist ever!) Not only was the pharmacist able to fix my *2 week apart* issue that my prior pharmacy had put me in, but he also called me & updated me on everything, considering he knew I hated the situation my prior pharmacist put me in. The prices are even cheaper here than at the small pharmacy in my town! While my prescriptions are free, my mom doesn't have prescription insurance. So, I used the app "Good RX" to try and save her $. The prices at Bell Pharmacy are CHEAPER than Good RX! My mom was paying approx $50+ more/month for her prescriptions @ our other pharmacy. So, for the simple fact that I loathe horrible customer service/incompetence & had her switch pharmacies also, (bcuz we go to the dr & fill our prescriptions the same time/day & I didn't wanna walk into my old pharmacy again b/c of the stress they put me under), she - without intent, instantly is saving $50+/month-$600+/year! So, not only is the customer service impeccable, so are their prices! Going to Bell Pharmacy will not be regretted by any customers. I highly recommend you go here if you live in the area.
