It's kind of funny seeing the two with big electronic signs in front advertising their competing sales. This store is relatively new. I believe it only opened about five or less years ago, and it shows. The management has managed to keep the exterior clean and bright. The interior is your typical Walgreens with a makeup area in front, cashiers to the left. The area behind the cashiers has an electronics and photo developing area while the rear of the store houses the pharmacy department. In between are goods that range from seasonal items to vitamins, medicine, candy and more. The store is always well organized and kept clean. The staff ranges from very friendly to average. It depends on when you go. Another note, the parking lot is never jam packed, so you're almost always guaranteed to find a spot, which is a definite selling point!

Through their efforts I am able to receive a very costly medication via a foundation at no charge. I live in northern NJ and Linden delivers my prescription at no charge. I recently experienced a problem where Medicare incorrectly billed that prescription. I was being charged a a very large amount of money. Through the efforts of Chee (a pharmacist and one of the owners) the incorrect charge was reversed and the medication was billed correctly. The entire staff is extremely considerate and efficient. The day of the cruise, her wheelchair battery would not charge. I went to Guest Service to request an electric wheelchair or scooter. We also requested a bed rail for my friend to hold onto to get in and out of bed. Celebrity doesn't offer bed rails and has no electric chairs or scooters unless ordered in advance. I quickly Googled emergency delivery of medical equipment, and Elmora popped up. I called, and Ben answered. I told him my predicament and asked if he could deliver to the cruise ship terminal. Ben was right on it and on his way immediately with a wheelchair and a bed rail. The gangway was to be taken from the ship at 3:20 PM, and Ben arrived at 2:50 PM. At first, security would not give me clearance to leave the ship, but the wonderful woman at guest services made it happen!!!! Thank you, Emma, at Celebrity Silhouette Guest Services!! Without Ben and Elmora, my friend would be sleeping in her non-functioning wheelchair for seven nights. I owe Ben a debt of gratitude for his quick help and kindness. He contacted me during the cruise to see how we were doing. That meant everything to my friend and me! Thank you, Ben, from the bottom of my heart!!!! PS The cost was so affordable, I was a bit shocked.

However, over the years this location has missed a step or two. Items are (seemingly) not restocked as often, shelves could be more organized (it's not a mess, but sometimes you need an extra few moments to find what you need because it may not be where you expect). Also, almost every time I have gone in the past year there is a person outside asking for money. He is not aggressive, but I find it odd that a store would allow someone to become such a permanent fixture without trying to help him out somehow. The one thing I will say for this location is that the staff is always outstanding. This is only one of two Walgreens I have ever been to where employees have actually come up to ME to ask if I needed help. I stopped into the store (to the pharmacy department) prior to his appointment time to see if there was any way the pharmacist could bring the shot out to him in the car. I was expecting the answer to be "Sorry, no." Instead, I was pleasantly surprised to hear "Sure, of course, no problem." I was assisted by Penelope and Sandrine (hope I spelled that correctly). When I brought him for his appointment, Penelope remembered me from earlier in the day, and Sandrine the pharmacist had a basket ready with everything she would need to administer the shot. He did not have to get out of the car or navigate the store. We are both very grateful. I do tend to call the store and speak to the manager. THANK YOU!!!

My doctor sent medication yesterday morning and it is currently…read more6:05 p.m. the next day and it's still not ready despite me having to call twice to be told they'll be ready within an hour at 10:30 a.m. and at 6:05 p.m. I'm told the medication is "on hold" and I'd have to wait 30 minutes. This is a usual occurrence with this Pharmacy they have a habit of putting medications "on hold" (whatever that means) without informing the doctor's office or the patient and there is no justification for it.
