The person who called regarding my other two prescriptions was extremely aggressive over the phone. I have a regular pharmacy that I use. One that I know and trust. The person who called was adamant that I get all of my prescriptions transferred to them even though I never even listed this pharmacy on anything with my doctor's office! Not just that, but he tried to put a guilt trip on me about all the work they did for a prior authorization from my insurance company. THATS YOUR JOB!! Then, when they try to call, god forbid if you're busy and they can simply leave a message. Nope. They'll call back three times, back to back to back! People have jobs and lives outside of being at a pharmacy's beck and call just to answer a phone call.

The reason for the updated review is because in the last 2-months Tustin Pharmacy has run my prescription refills without me asking for refills. And since they are running them without my consent when I attempt to order refills at my new pharmacy they cannot process the refills because it looks like I have already picked up the prescriptions. Over the last 2-months I have had to call my insurance company and they have had to intervene by calling Tustin Pharmacy. What REALLY made me mad this month is that Tustin Pharmacy actually called me last week saying "calling to let you know your prescriptions are ready" and I specifically told them to please back them out, and remove my prescriptions from their system. And here I am a week later... they ran them without my consent and I am having to have my insurance company step-in again so I can pick up my medications. DON'T USE TUSTIN PHARMACY!

I walked up with my aunt to the drop-off counter, but they refused to let me be an interpreter (I am a horrible translator/interpreter). I understand the confidentiality and privacy concerns, but they didn't have anyone at the pharmacy to interpret and translate to Spanish. It was taking forever because the technician/pharmacist didn't understand my aunt, nor did she understand him. I also remember that he refused to accept the GoodRx card to fill the prescription. My aunt and I left frustrated, annoyed, and she was in pain without her prescription being filled. How could they not have a bilingual pharmacist? Santa Ana is right next door. I think my aunt and I tried one more time to fill her prescription (hoping they had a Spanish-speaking pharmacist), but this time the technician said that they had an interpreter and walked us both over to a station in the pharmacy where he simply pressed a button (seemed like an intercom) where my aunt had to wait by herself to speak to this interpreter (I had to stand back) with the pharmacist. The technician/pharmacist kept pressing that button for a Spanish interpreter to voice through from the other end. It also took forever for anyone to speak back from that button, but the audio was so bad that even the technician/pharmacist couldn't understand them. Furthermore, the volume was excessively loud, which was embarrassing for my aunt. My aunt and I had to leave again, frustrated, annoyed, and she was in pain without her prescription being filled.

I went to the store manager to let him know about the situation, and the manager said it was Larry's first day at that store as a fill-in pharmacist!! So, Larry lied about that, as well as other issues he argued about, including contradictions and errors (he must not have been reading the information correctly in the system). I need to be able to trust a pharmacist, and I don't trust him. He was set on being difficult and would not even look at me or listen when I spoke. I recommend against going to a pharmacy managed by him, even on a temporary fill-in basis, as needed.

I shop at this location several times a month. Generally, I like their selection of "better for…read moreyou" groceries, snacks and beverages. It's typically more expensive versus other grocery stores I frequent, but I am prepared to pay a premium for quality products and service. Often, I stop by to grab a $4.99 "make your own" sandwich which is a very good deal. Today, I had a mixed experience. I bought a turkey sandwich, a small size ready-to-eat chicken noodle soup and 3 cans of Olipop soda. The sodas had a sign reading "3 for $5". I paid approximately $17. As I left the store, I immediately looked at my receipt and noted they charged me full price for the sodas. I went back in and they discovered that the promotional price had expired but that the staff hadn't removed the signs yet. They refunded me the difference so I'm glad I caught the error. They then removed the promo price signs so other customers wouldn't think there was a sale like I did. I then drove to the work office to eat my lunch. I opened the sandwich and noticed it was slathered with mayo which I didn't request nor do I like. They have this form at the deli counter which you have to fill out with check boxes for bread, meat, veggies and condiments. I checked off "mustard" and hand wrote in "on both sides". I decided to drive back to the store (which was an inconvenience) and told the deli counter about the mayo. I acknowledged that "mistakes happen" and that I was a regular customer, and I'd appreciate if they would make me "whole". The deli person made me a fresh sandwich and instructed me to go to a cashier to request a refund. I did that and I was appreciative of the fact that they didn't argue, apologized for the mistake and did something corrective (i.e. I got the refund with no argument). I'm giving this a 4 out of 5 rating because while I was inconvenienced, I feel they handled my complaint in a fair and proper manner and for that I feel satisfied. I will continue to remain a customer of Sprouts. I always believed that while mistakes can and do happen in every business, what's really important is how a company handles those mistakes. If they take accountability and work with their customers to address issues, I'm inclined to continue to do business with them since they show they value the patronage.
