My chief complaints include: (1) Never once in a year have all of my prescriptions actually been ready at the same time. I have tried everything including auto refills. It's actually impressive that they still can't get it together. (2) There are two lines - drop off and pick up. God forbid you have a question about something that wasn't filled properly. You actually have to leave the drop off window and get back in line for the pick up window. On one especially confusing occasion when one of my Rx wasn't filled, I had to get back in line although I was the only customer. (3) Even when they get their act together and call your doctor for a refill, they don't let you know that your Rx has actually been filled. I once went back after they called and left a message that my doctor authorized a refill. When I got to the store, they didn't actually fill my Rx. I am giving this joint two stars based on the fact that the Pho next door is amazing and that they haven't actually killed me.

The cashier never helped her. I waited six minutes in line patiently (one person ahead of me) while she slowly rang up an elderly lady, which is just fine with me, because not every store can be staffed to help all customers at all times. This is a hard job, and I understand that these employees have to deal with rude customers all day. I finally handed my item to the cashier with a smile. The cashier's first action was to berate me for not using the self-checkout. When I started to explain that I got in line because one self-checkout was broken and the other was being used, she interrupted and dismissed me with a wave of her hand, berating me (again) for bringing her a pair of sunglasses (the only pair that fit me!) which had a barcode that wasn't working in her scanner. All this time, she's criticizing a young kid who's working behind her. She refused to help me, refused to let me explain why I couldn't simply bring up a different item which might have a different price. I don't work at CVS. I don't know what to look for. She just began fighting me on it, like it was the most natural thing in the world for her. I threw up my hands and walked out of the store without a purchase. Read some other reviews on this app. There's at least one talking about the same person, the same behavior. I don't care how long I have to wait in line. Like I said, I have compassion for stores that are understaffed and under-trained. I also have endless patience for this kind of thing usually. If anything, I'm the person wanting to make someone's day better if they're having a bad one. But this cashier was needlessly antagonistic, not just to me but to every customer and employee around me, creating an atmosphere and experience so unpleasant that now I'm logging on to f***ing YELP to write you a novel about this CVS location and warn you off it.

The store was clean, fully stocked, and the employees were friendly and helpful. Prices matched those at other Walmart locations. To make things even better, they offer same day delivery! Today I needed a couple days worth of a medication due to another pharmacy (not Q-Bit) not being able to deliver my prescription on time. Q-Bit is my default pharmacy, so my doctor's office sent the prescription right to them. They weren't able to fill it as they had to close early because of a staff emergency. The person I spoke with was able to transfer the prescription to a 24 hour pharmacy. She even went out of her way to text me 30 minutes later to make sure the pharmacy received the prescription! I have always had 10/10 service from Q-Bit. They can usually fill prescriptions quickly and always communicate promptly. I think, as a society, we need to get back to giving our hard-earned cash to businesses that treat us with dignity and value customer service. Q-Bit will always be my go to!

Tonight I discovered my doctor had sent my prescription to a far-flung pharmacy. The people behind the counter told me to go there to get it changed rather than offering to change it at Target (because they didn't want to do more work before closing time?). I told them I would rather wait 15 minutes at Target than drive across town, wait in another line, and then come back to Target, but I shouldn't have had to tell them that. There was a woman behind the counter whose job it seemed to be to expedite things, but actually she was just rude and unhelpful and cutting people off to move things along. You know what doesn't make things faster? Doing them twice. The young man who had told me to go to the other store saw how flustered I was after I told him how rude and unhelpful they were all being. After that, he helped me get my prescription changed and get checked out and was quite nice. The overall experience there is stressful and hectic, and even more so if you are tired and in pain. Not only that, but this was after waiting for a medication for an unspecified amount of time because they didn't have it and couldn't tell me when they could get it. I really miss the team at the Bernardo CVS. They were friendly, caring, and helpful. But for now, Target it is. The only reason I gave a second star was for the gentleman who decided to be kind. But if I had another better option, I would go somewhere else.

The old man with the long mustache at the front counter (the guy that kind of looks like a cowboy) is so friggin nice and courteous. He is so thoughtful and really goes out of his way to see how your day is going, etc. Drugstores/pharmacies don't usually get this kind of outstanding service but I hope this guy gets a pay raise someday because he deserves it. the only reason i gave it 4 stars is because the reward program is not that great compared to cvs. I shop at rite aid all the time since i live so close, and i only very rarely get discounts. but i feel like with cvs, i get a 20% off or 30% off coupon through e-mail at least once a week which is always really useful.

I was shocked by how disrespectful and unprofessional that response was. Even without the keys, she could have contacted another employee or manager to assist. I called the pharmacy, while the nurses were getting my discharge papers together, to make sure they had my insurance. I spoke with Connie, the pharmacist on duty. She found me in their computer system and let me know my insurance info was there. As soon as I hung up with her, my husband went downstairs to wait for the prescriptions. While my husband was headed to the pharmacy. My nurse gave me my discharge instructions and I was ready to go. My husband arrive back to my room, just as the nurses finished up with me, with all of my prescriptions in hand. I couldn't believe how fast they filled my medicines. My husband was only gone for 10 minutes. He came back just in time to help me pack my belongings and check out. Thank you Pharmacist Connie for the speedy filling of my prescriptions and for your kindness you showed me on the phone. I really appreciate it. It's very nice and convenient that El Camino Hospital has a pharmacy that patients can use before going home. If my Dr. had sent my prescription a to Walgreens, they probably wouldn't have been ready until the next day. The only big issue here is the line that develops. I will say that the store is a bit cleaner, better stocked, and more organized than it has been in the recent past. There's quite a bit more locked up (mostly the more female products: make-up, mani-pedi stuff, etc.) than I think needs to be but I understand why they have to. That said, the usual crowd in here is non-threatening and the store is definitely safe and in an excellent location. There are far worse locations to visit with a lot rougher looking patrons than this one. Overall I'm grateful it's right across the street from my apartment. There's also a lottery ticket machine in here if that's your thing and you don't want to make a second stop somewhere else.
