Generally an alright place for getting my prescriptions filled. I definitely try and avoid the drive thru when I can. Inside pickup is so much faster even if there's a a line 3 or 4 deep. The drive thru with even just 2 cars can take like 20 minutes. I don't completely blame the staff because I see customers fumbling with their wallets and stuff. Sometimes I can't always park and get out so it's very time consuming. At times they also have not had my prescriptions in stock for refill and have to wait 3-5 days so plan ahead here. read more

Wow, have they gone downhill. If I would have rated them 6 months ago I would have given them a higher rating. None of the pharmacists are on the same page. One gives me one date and when I go in on that date im told a different date. No sorry for our mistake, no courteous response... just nope... can't do it buh by. Some of the pharmacists are better than the others so its a crap shoot. Saugus Pharmacy at the Hallmark store is way better IMHO. And I will add to the comments below. We had the best experience with the pharmacist, Alessi. There had been a discrepancy with the prescription, and she was so kind and got ahold of the provider right away to resolve the problem. She had the most positive and helpful attitude, and Scott at the pharmacy register was also helpful. If I could give a minus for the service they offer in Pharmacy I would -1 Star You call to have them process a prescription that has to be called in and lifted off hold and they put you on hold okay I don't mind waiting but you can tell when they pick the phone up and place you back on hold. Several times this happened and they did not pick up for over 11 minutes on hold! They need to fix the problem not place you on hold for extended periods of time!!! read more

I'm a new customer to CVS, having to make a change from my old drugstore due to insurance changes. I was well aware of some of the negative reviews, but had no choice but to go there. I don't understand the issue. Every experience I've had so far with the pharmacy has been on-point. I haven't had a long wait, they are organized, the staff is efficient and friendly and their communication through text messages and emails is great. One thing that is 100% necessary when submitting a medical claim in the state of California, is the medical providers tax id#. The absolute morons who run this store will not provide that number to you if you ask, effectively shutting down any chance of submitting a claim to your insurance provider, as if you're asking for their social security number or something. The tax ID# is literally printed on any medical professional's receipt, and yet this piece of information is withheld from any customers of this store for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Get with the program dumb dumbs, you need to provide this information when it's requested so that your customers can be reimbursed for their medical claims. read more

If I could give them a zero I would, not the store but the pharmacy. When in this morning, saw one of the female staffs raised her voice on a paying customer and spoke condescendingly to the customer in the car. Same woman that told me she could find my prescription yesterday which my doctor office sent yesterday. Then, a separate female staff who handled my prescription this morning, I forgot to pay for another item after she rang up my bill. Told me to go back in line because there were customer behind me. I literally just paid for my med for 1 second and she could easily rang up my 1, I'm talking about 1 item that I forgot to give it to her. I'm going to pull my prescription from this place, I rather give my money to a place that can train their staffs manner and customer service etiquette. read more

I have been using this pharmacy for a few years now and I have had multiple issues over the years now from counting my medications and finding I was 10 short for me to call and them say sorry it was a math error when counting. Then I also have called to make sure my prescription could be filled the night before having to leave on a trip the next day for the next day to come with no means of being filled and having been lied to and it seemed the pharmacist did not want to admit there was any fault on them. I would at the very least expect him to apologize for the inconvenience or the misunderstanding but never apologized and just sat on the line silent. This pharmacist has a pretty sour attitude whenever I see him. read more

You would think working for a large pharmacy and convenience store chain where only minimal customer service effort is required would be easy. I mean basically customers come in her and either grab some last minute goods off the self serve shelf or they come to pick up a prescription that was ordered by their doctor, pay and get out. The store section of this CVS is fine for the most part but the pharmacy is absolutely lacking in customer service etiquette. It's almost like this pharmacy goes out of it's way to make the customer feel like they are not valued whatsoever. On several, yes numerous occasions different pharmacy technicians and even the manager has been extremely verbally rude and down right insulting to my family. Calling me and telling me that the prescription is ready only to find out that it is not, many times is a complete waste of time. I lose count of how many times my order is not complete or not ready at all even after I get the call. If only that was the extent of the the incompetency and unprofessionalism. Name calling and CURSING at customers is completely unacceptable especially when errors are the fault of their department. When you make a mistake or have clearly failed in your customer service, do not take it out on customers who are potentially giving your company business and keeping you employed. Maybe apologize and say thank you for choosing CVS. Leave the attitude and under you breath insults our of the workplace. Treating customers like this has no place in any business especially in a health care industry. It seems this CVS has no worries about doing their best. Thank goodness there are so many other pharmacies to go to in town who will gladly take the business. No longer shopping here. read more

This location is very close to my Daughter and Grandson. When I go and visit, this is my Grandson and my usual walk to place. He's just a toddler, but he knows this place and walk. All in all, its a very great CVS. The people at the counters are always super friendly, always very nice and friendly to my Grandson as well! My doctor sent my 2 prescriptions over to CVS at 11:30am, Their website says Will be ready on Wed., September 02, at 12PM. At 4:30pm I called and they said it would be ready in 1/2 an hour and they would notify me. Its now 9pm and they are Closed. WOW!! Nice Communication!! read more

Your set up for Covid testing using the drive through pharmacy pick up is flipping ridiculous. You have people who are just trying to pick up their prescriptions mixing with people who are Covid testing. Many of your customers are high risk for covid yet you have them using the same space as people testing for Covid. Lame. Plus it takes even longer now to pick up meds. read more

I love Jay and Nick. They are both extremely knowledgeable and kind pharmacists. This is my go to pharmacy for everything.

Boosting them up to a 5-Star because the customer service and professionalism has skyrocketed at this location. I love the attentiveness and response from employees both at the register and at the pharmacy. The CVS app is one of the best smartphone apps I've ever used for a store. If you haven't used it, do it and you will see. I love the fact that I can always have my receipts emailed to me so I no longer have wads of paper in my pockets when I get home. The drove thru is great and cuts down on time when you pick up meds. I think CVS really has come a long way and they deserve the 5-Star reviews. read more

They are usually polite. However, Jay could care less that I was next in line. When I mentioned that I was next in line but waiting in the pick up line. (Jay was under the drop off line -all of this inside) His response was somebody will get there. Rudely and short I've been waiting in the pick up line while I watched a man name Frankie with his back facing me at a computer not paying attention to whoever was in his line. Most of the men that work there are pleasant but the women that work at this pharmacy are truly lacking in customer service. They are completely rude and act like they're doing you a favor instead of their job by filling your prescription. Complete attitude during the entire process whether it's on the phone or in person. I've shopped at this pharmacy a fair number of times over the past few years, as it's in my general neighborhood, although it's not the main drugstore I tend to use mainly because there is a Walgreens right down the street from me that is not only convenient, but has a generally helpful, friendly staff. However this morning I went in to this CVS to pick up a couple of items as it was more or less on the way I was driving, and went to the counter to check out with the cashier on duty. I didn't recognize the woman, though she may have been working there for a while, I just haven't been to the store enough to know for sure. In a nutshell, this lady acted like handling my purchase was the furthest thing from her mind. She did make a couple of comments to her coworker while I was paying for my purchase, about how soon her lunch break was coming up. From that I at least knew she was capable of verbalization. From this one crappy experience, I can tell you that unless I was broken down on the road and needed some lifesaving item in that CVS to survive, I'm highly unlikely to shop here again. Customer service does matter. As the saying goes, if you have a good experience, you'll maybe tell 5 people If you have a lousy experience, you'll tell 50 people. Hence I'm putting this review here and also on Facebook. Otherwise, just put in a self checkout counter and the business here would undoubtedly improve, if this is the quality of employees they will continue to hire here. read more

This place is so awful. After years of being treated like burden by the ever-changing pharmacy staff I switched my prescription to Walgreens on Haskell. I have never gone to this pharmacy and received a smile from any of the staff, including the numerous pharmacists who have worked here. If you have coupons - let them know BEFORE you get there otherwise you will attitude like no tomorrow. Especially if you get rung up by Trezian. She was rude and insulting. Note to Trezian - style matters and your communication style is terse bordering on rude and you seem to have a problem saying anything kind or nice but have no problem being critical and condescending. I will avoid you in the future. The CVS app is a pain to use. It says it will add the coupon to your card, but it never does. I have problems logging in and now have resorted to printing the coupons. Walgreens does this MUCH, MUCH better ... where points and coupons are automatically linked to your account. No messing around. Just drive to Walgreens - it's only 1 mile away. read more
