They're closed more than open: they close early in the evening, they say they're closed from 1:30 - 2:00 for lunch, but I've gotten there before 1:30 and they're closing the window, and I've arrived after 2:00 and they're still not open. Gizelle the pharmacist lied to my doctor. She told him that it was against the law to prescribe medication to a family member. I am out of town and asked for three pills just to get me through the weekend. I needed to get 7 day advance for one of my medications due to going on vacation. Pharmacist refused. She said I would have to pay cash price ($25/pill). Complete BS. I called another Walgreens (Newhall Ranch) and they are gladly giving me a Vacation fill, no problem. I don't recommend this pharmacist, or the tech that backed her up. $400 for the prescription and the filled it incorrectly. When I called to speak with the pharmacist she was BEYOND rude, refused to own her mistake and said that they are not responsible for filling the script incorrectly?? (Pretty sure the Pharmacy Board would disagree.) The pharmacist went on to state that I would have to pay for the replacement script - because of their mistake. Yikes. Just spent 25 minutes and 15 seconds stuck in the drive-thru waiting for some inconsiderate jackass waiting for his Covid-19 test results, this is the second time that I've been sandwiched in the line for over 15 minutes or more. They should not be doing tests in the drive-thru if they're going to keep the second lane closed! There were six cars behind me by the time I got to the window, where I had to wait another 5 minutes. This isn't the only issue I've had with this company. I'm done, going to get my prescriptions elsewhere from today forward. Just had the worst experience with their pharmacist I think her name is Lisa, first I stand there for six minutes completely ignored then when I try to get some advice for my sick dog since all veterinarians within a 30 mile area are backed up for two weeks she refuses, even when I asked her hypothetically if it was for a small adult advice... I will never come back to this Walgreens! Well organized shelves and ambiance is comfortable,not stuffy. We would come here if the other walgreen ran out and we found great deals after the holidays. The associates are always helpful. What I find cool is that they sell electrical outlets for android and apple. They sell tripods for smart phones which I find more reliable than those selfie sticks. A lot of Filipino associates manage this store. I find myself charing with them as they felt at ease with their fellow kababayan. Come here if you like to get some makeup you can't find in other stores. Also for the electrical accessories for your computer or smart phone. They sell clothes here for the season like leggings for winter and sun dresses for summer. read more

I usually come here to grab tooth paste or kids shampoo when I'm on the fly and don't feel like heading out to warehouse stores. I noticed they're "As seen on TV" items are stocked well here for those of you who live for these products. I like checking out the seasonal decor and candy sales like for Valentines Day, Easter & Mothers Day. It's nice they also sell cellular and tablet charging accessories in multi fun colors. There's also a redbox available for movies and gaming. I came in here on the rare chance we get hard rainfall in California looking for umbrellas and found great, quality ones when all the other stores like Target & Walmart sold out. As if!!! Definitely great clean store with super friendly staff who greet you with big smile.. however pharmacy .... wow. 5 people behind the counter pharmacy desk all with extremely unhappy faces and "I wanna be a doctor and change the world" attitude....as a registered nurse of many years I promise I know what questions that need to be asked... but please save your energy and voice and your especially your judgement...we don't need to hear " Omg it's 240mg of Sudafed do you know it can make you hyper and shaky?!" Even listening to other customers in line- I wish I can post their stories... well just post one, no names obviously... "Your doctor wrote for MS Contin and Percocet.., they both very very dangerous (insert judge mental look) and blah blah..." WOW..... Store is great. Pharmacy another story. Apparently pharmacist are doctors now and question every medication you're on and need to know why you're taking it. If you have any chronic pain each pharmacist will question why you're in the medication and threaten to not fill the prescriptions. Don't waste your time and go elsewhere. read more

Can't believe I've never checked in or reviewed: I am here at least twice a week. This is recognized in my household as the place where mom goes to get random necessities, and kiddies get candy as a result. Flor, who works in the Cosmetics section, never fails to greet me and my boys in the most friendly manner, and always finds coupon deals for me at checkout. The line at the front counter is never more than two deep, and other staff are super-friendly. Parking is ample. Plus Walgreens is a tolerant, responsible company who don't flout their corporate tax obligations. So it's an all-around win. read more

This has to be the slowest Walgreens ever. I've never seen more than 2 customers in the store at one time. I tend to stop by when I'm at the end of a run to pickup something to drink. I've never used the pharmacy nor have I ever purchased anything besides a bottle of water of Gatorade. The store is super clean and it always seems to be fully stocked. So, if you're looking for something that another drug store doesn't have, check this Walgreens out. read more

Every time I've been here the staff is always very friendly and helpful. Debbie in photo stands out as I have seen her go out of her way to help people even though it's not her area. My only complaint is with the younger staff who seem to be lazy and not do anything but stand around and talk. So if you want a great experience at a drugstore and quite probably a laugh or two or at least a smile, go there in the morning or early afternoon, otherwise you'll just get blah service. read more

I happen to like this Walgreens. Never a long waiting line. The staff is friendly. Today I drove my friend here to buy a plunger after she clogged up my toilet. I have to use CVS at times because of my insurance. I called the doctors office who sent the refill by mistake to Walgreens. The price difference between CVS and Walgreens was $20. (My insurance has a contract with CVS otherwise Walgreens prices would be the same.) I explained this to Sharlin the pharmacist at Walgreens, though I offered to pay the extra $20 she faxed the prescription to CVS. This kind of EXCELLENT customer service just does not exist, UNLESS IT IS WALGREENS IN SAUGUS!!! Walgreens lost one medication sale but they have a very grateful customer. This is just one of MANY times this pharmacy has provided my family with exceptional service. These Walgreens pharmacists ONLY CARE ABOUT THE PATIENT. Nothing else matters. read more

She called the doctor for me to get a much more affordable substitute, and had it ready for me within the hour. I absolutely LOVE this Walgreens' pharmacy! What a blessing these people are. I am a woman in her mid-20s who unfortunately suffers from chronic pain and back problems, and my insurance and medications always require a series of hoops to jump through. Fortunately, this Walgreens Pharmacy staff is always so pleasant and helpful and kind; you can tell they truly love their jobs and are in it to help others. The entire staff is great, but the two head pharmacists--Charlynn and the tall red-haired woman (I don't know her name unfortunately)--have always gone above and beyond for me. As someone who suffers from chronic pain, I get emotional easily and my insurance can make my transaction difficult, but the pharmacy staff never makes me feel like I am a bother. Very nice for a chain drugstore, I come in often when I need something in a hurry and don't want to drive far to get it. Most of the time shelves are well stocked, and they carry everything you can think of. The store always looks nice and clean and it's important for a drugstore to be clean. Lines are never long so my shopping doesn't take more than 10 minutes. read more
