As usual the pharmacy is efficient and courteous. The staff were very helpful and knew how to overcome minor obstacles like transferring my prescription from my home CVS because I'm traveling. They got the prescription moved in 10-15 minutes and that was that. I was all done. The pharmacy earns 5 stars But I had to ruin the experience by shopping in the store. I decided to pick up some sugar - free breath mints and chewing gum to combat my dry mouth. Both turned out so ghastly I wondered why the store bothered to stock them. When you call to authorize family member for pick up, the phone line is automated with the dumbest AI assistant I have ever encountered. ZERO opportunity to be transferred to a human. Nathan in the pharmacy is so worried to get people through the line, that he does not even allow people the opportunity to read the questions when prompted on screen when using a card. He is rude and has no patience. For elderly and sick people, this is so disappointing when truly more patience and understanding is sometimes needed. This is one of the worst stores that you can visit. Please avoid it at all costs. I got a $100 Amazon gift card from here, and gave it as a gift to a friend. A few days later my friend mentions that when he opened the card the last few digits on the card are smudged(meaning he could not get the money from the card). This is a well known 'gift card skimming scam', and the store doesn't have proper security to handle the thieves from doing this. I went to the manager, who was very rude (had an attitude that I had done some crime to cause this), and would not give any empathy or proper next steps, and just asked me to call the corporate number. Calling corporate was useless (I wish I had know this before), as they seem to be concerned, but did nothing for the customer (their resolution was: Please take it up with Amazon). This is so unprofessional. At the end, I lost $100, and CVS did *nothing* to take ownership for the problem (If only they have proper security measures to protect customers). When I'm in the area the first place I go is the soap aisle, they do decent and deep discounts on products to make room for new stuff. Or what ever didn't catch on and sell. I try and stop by here at least once a month to check out the discounts and stuff like vitamins too. And also to try a different brand that's probably a better deal than the online stuff I normally grab. The PCP recently recommended that I get a night guard for my teeth. This was my local CVS for two years while I was working in the area. I've been going to CVS for my Pharmacy for years, so this one became my go to - being the closest and most convenient. There are several issues that plague this store over others, which have made my experiences less than great. The store is notorious for long lines. The checkers are doing their best, but having one person up front doesn't work during a busy time. I've seen managers just ignore the lines and go on gossiping with other employees. If it were only once I wouldn't bother mentioning, but it always seems like the same people working hard and others - not so much. I have also had several situations with the pharmacy where I have asked them to stop the automatic refills and they did not. I would come down thinking that I had an important item to pick up, only to find out it wasn't something I asked for or needed. As a frequent shopper of CVS, I hope that management can focus on the customer experience and turn this place around before it closes. read more

SLOW, under staffed, and careless. Spent a half hour standing in line waiting for photos that were supposed to be ready 3 hrs ago. Apparently the "your photos are ready" emails mean nothing. They didn't start printing until i showed up at the store. The clerk then got the order confused and made me wait unnecessarily while she printed someone else's photos. Also had a terrible experience with their pharmacy which sold me the wrong prescription (doctor prescribed 5ml and they sold me 3ml.) DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY! I've had issues for several months where my provider says my prescription will be ready on a certain date. Whenever that date comes, the pharmacy ALWAYS says it's on hold until my provider approves it. And when I contact my provider, he says that he approved it when we last spoke, which could be up to three weeks before. And this happens every time, no matter how much I call my provider or call the pharmacy beforehand to make sure it's ready (side note--I have been on hold for over an hour before. The pharmacy never picks up the phone). It's ADHD meds so I'll survive but I imagine if I had diabetes or a heart condition--these issues could have serious consequences! Do not go here. read more

This has to be the worst CVS in the area. I had a terrible experience with the cvs pharmacist from the 2069 Camden Ave location so I started coming to this location hoping the employees would be better. Urmi was incredibly nice and she sold me the carepass which is a paid membership that cost $5 a month and entitles members to free delivery of all prescriptions and also 20% off store brand items. So I went to use my discount on some overpriced cvs cough meds but Judy was too incompetent to figure out how to honor my 20% off. She blamed Urmi for setting up my membership incorrectly and then she blamed CVS for having faulty computers, she even blamed me the customer for why she wasn't able to apply my 20% off. At one time she even called me a liar and said that I had no proof that I was a carepass member. I was too frustrated to deal with her anymore so I went home and canceled my paid cvs membership. I attached a picture of my cancellation notice from CVS as proof that I was a member. I will not buy anything from CVS ever again. I will have my prescriptions transferred to targets pharmacy. Hopefully, CVS will go out of business. Judy is unfit to be a manager and should be demoted. I will also be calling my credit card company to have them change the price of the actual Item to reflect my 20% off. Shame on you Judy for blaming everyone except your lack of customer service skills. You should have gotten out a calculator to subtract 20% off the 1 item I purchased but instead you lost a customer who was wasting $300 a month at cvs buying stuff every time she came in to pick up a prescription. read more

This store has very polite staff members who are always willing to help and listen to what you are looking for. One Employee even helped me pick out a tie-dye shirt for my tie-dye day at work. I was nervous to go to this pharmacy with all of the negative reviews, but I had the opposite experience! I've been there 3x now and each time I've been seen right away, they work really fast, they never made me feel rushed, always worked at getting me a discount (since my insurance is terrible), provided information about additional services they offer in case I need it, and made me feel like a valued customer. I experienced this twice. 1) He was very disrespectful when I went to ring my stuff at the counter, didn't bother to ask if I had a cvs card and was busy interviewing a person on phone all the time (2) I asked for an item that was locked up ( soap) by going to the billing counter. I was skeptical about all the reviews until I experienced what everyone was complaining about. Needed to drop off my prescriptions and was greeted by "geanie" the pharmacy lady. Never have I used cvs for my pharmacy needs but figured it was convenient since I work close by. As the lady takes my prescriptions and starts to enroll me into the system she's looking up to see if my insurance would cover the cost. Unfortunately my insurance didn't cover anything. I was willing to pay out of pocket since I was already here but she seemed more hesitant that I should call my insurance and see what pharmacy providers my insurance covers. I really needed the medication today and she kept asking "are you sure you drop off the prescription, I don't want you to waste my time". At the point I said to her, " what do you mean waste your time?" She seemed to of caught herself in a hole after being disrespectful by making me feel as I was bothering her. Walked into the store a couple of days ago because I was in the area meeting a friend and decided to search for some replacement icicle christmas lights that we needed at home. The store was pretty clean and large, with not too many people shopping at night. The aisle where they sold christmas decorations and other stuff was near the front of the store and not difficult to find. I was really happy to find the last set of 200 white icicle lights, just what I needed!!! I had actually called around a little earlier in the evening to a number of drugstores to find that they were all out of what I was looking for. The people working here HATE it and it is obvious. I've never had a cashier that wasn't rude in years and it's rare to find someone who will help you find a product. Plus, the products here are ridiculously over priced! I can find the exact same items at Target/Walmart/Walgreens for at least 25% less money. Their only redeemable quality is the coupons for certain purchases, but at this location, they couldn't be more annoyed that you wanted to use them if they tried. If you ask someone (assuming you can find someone to ask) they typically have the item in the back. The cashiers are slow and border on incompetent. On my last visit the shift manager took one look at the line and walked in the other direction. She couldn't be bothered to help cashier until she was specifically paged. read more

I'm a reasonably astute and intelligent human being. I've been going to this CVS since I was a kid, when it was Savon and Long's. In other words, almost 40 years. I've read many of the negative reviews, including the classless and disgusting racist one that calls out an employee's name, and come to one of the following conclusions: (A) some people are just really hard to please and will never be happy, (B) some customers are too high maintenance or (C) I have been going to a different CVS (because my experiences at this Meridian location have always been positive). I wanted to use my printed online gift certificate, which I've already done here before. Salesperson refused to accept it, even though the same person had no problem accepting it a couple of weeks before. She even called her manager who also said no to me. I am extremely upset with the pharmacy department. I called early this afternoon to arrange for home delivery of an emergency prescription that I need today and was told that for a fee it would be hand delivered this afternoon. Since we are in our late 70's and are being very careful about the self-quarantine restrictions, this seemed to be the best solution for our situation. It is now 7:40 pm on Friday evening (the pharmacy closes at 8:00) and was just told that it would not be delivered after all. No explanation, other than they don't know who does the deliveries so they don't know who to call. Needless to say, I will NEVER use CVS again. Don't trust these people. read more

When I first walked into this place I was like wow it's very spacious the only problem that I had with this joint is that it lacked a lot of products that I use on a daily basis so that's why I'm cutting the two stars I figured since this is a pharmacy that it would have most of the items I'm looking for but it didn't! It is stocked with other miscellaneous products that most people need...body wash,shampoo,makeup on the go,occasional bday card,etc. but that's about it I will be coming back for products that i need but not the ones that i heart!
