I waited 20 min to be helped with only 2 people in front of me, and when I finally got to the front said my rx would be $60. I always pay $10. When I said that he rolled his eyes and gave me attitude. I've been going to this Walgreens pharmacy for a while but I will never go back in fear that Stephen will be the one to help me. 1 star -- absolutely unacceptable…read more The pharmacy at CVS Pharmacy is a complete mess. My prescription was transferred, and somehow it just vanished. No one can tell me where it is, why it's not filled, or when I'm actually going to get it. I've now been sent between locations being told it's ready, only to show up and hear "we don't have it." Meanwhile, I'm without medication I need, getting worse, and the staff offers zero real answers. One employee (Rita) looked up my prescription and couldn't give any clear information or timeline at all--just confusion and attitude instead of solutions. At this point, it feels like no one knows what they're doing. This isn't a small mistake--this is people's health. Figure out your system, communicate properly, and stop leaving patients stuck chasing their own prescriptions.

I had a quick trip to the North Shore to visit in-laws and I was flying out a couple days later on a business trip out of Logan. What I forgot to think of on my trip is that my antibiotic supply for a recent spider bite was nearly exhausted. I had one more refill on this script but it was called in to a Walgreens near my home in NY and it was a Sunday. I decided to visit the Beverly store first thing Monday morning to see if there was any way I could transfer my reservation there or have my Doctor call them. I was greeted by a female pharmacist who listened to my shortened version of my dilemma and she quickly said "no problem let me see what I can do". She found me in the Walgreens system and was able to transfer my order to Beverly. Next challenge was to make sure NY insurance would cover it. She asked me to give her 10 minutes so I did a quick shopping spree around the store. I returned in what was probably 8 minutes and she had my order filled and fully covered by insurance. I know this isn't the most interesting review but the exceptional care and attention I was given was honestly unexpected and refreshing. Great job to this employee and her team.

The store itself I have no issue with, actually like the store. It's the pharmacy. Rec'd a text message that my prescription was ready to pick up. I have a friend drive me down through Halloween traffic etc. The Pharmacy tech tells me quite rudely "there is nothing here for you". I said well, I have a text message stating otherwise. After some going back and forth, she walks off and out of the Pharmacy area, leaving me hanging. Guess she didn't feel like dealing with it. Another tech came over who was a bit nicer tried to explain why I would be informed the prescription was ready when indeed it was not. I really need to look into CVS. Customer Service is very lacking in the Pharmacy. Which is unlike the Cashiers up front who are very pleasant. Not good experiences here. Recently, my pulmonary md retired, the old rx was not in the US any longer. I had the name of a prescription from my new md. This drug is almost twice the cost of my old one. This afternoon, Sabino, one of the two pharmacists, was beginning a search for a cheaper drug, he said he would leave me a message on my phone, and he will.
