But the little hole in the wall shop does seem to have one of everything- scooter, walker, wheelchair, safety rails, orthotic shoes, etc. If you were injured and immobilized and needed a mobility device immediately, this is your only option, and I think Boston is fairly lucky to have it. The less good: the prices are really high for what you get. You are paying a mark up for convenience and can get higher quality items for much less online or even from the other suppliers in the area who work with insurance. The selection is extremely limited. If you can wait, do that. Rentals involve a random quote from a random guy in the store after talking to another random person and calling in advance does not connect you to the store (I guess online sales may be how they stay in business? No one is actually coming to this store at the end of a long dark hallway with one little printed sign on the front door). There's nothing written down and I found out later when they called me about extending the rental that these prices are extremely negotiable. Nothing is priced in the store either, so I grossly overpaid for some items... but I needed them right away, so what can you do. Returns aren't accepted. The vibes are not great, but if you're desperate, it's good to have an option for immediate relief. You really can't buy/rent a scooter or wheelchair in person anywhere else, you have to work with a medical supplier referred by your Dr, which takes a few days and is limited to M-F.

I should not even give this one star. Rented a mobility scooter. There was a 300.00 security…read moredeposit. Fine. Gave them 3 weeks to refund. Finally called. They were confused by this and said they didn't know what platform I ordered off of and would call back. Crickets. A week later I call and again am told they'll call back. Next day I call and get same response. I had to get nasty and keep calling every 15 minutes when they'd say someone would call me in 10 minutes and did not. They held my deposit a month. I honestly started thinking they were fraudulent. It shouldn't come to having to get aggressive over phone to get a security deposit back. Additionally the scooter they rented me was pretty rickety. Don't do business with them unless you want stress in your life. Incompetent "customer service " that couldn't be bothered to do their job. Stay away.

Our journey has been a long one, filled with many challenges and lots of research, but from the moment we connected with Andrew, it was clear that we had not just a salesperson--but a caring thoughtful human genuinely invested in his clients' happiness, comfort, and bringing east back into their lives. Andrew's expertise and knowledge of mobility vehicles is unmatched. He's one of those people who won't talk your ear off, yet so beautifully and un-assumedly answers questions - you can tell he knows his stuff. Working with a proud stubborn guy like my dad isn't easy - but Andrew made it seem easy where others had failed. He took the time to listen carefully to our needs and concerns, offering thoughtful advice and never pushing us. In fact, my parents looked forward to every chat with him (even inviting him over for dinner because they loved him so much (he politely declined)). Despite the complexities of the decision, Andrew managed to make it fun and stress-free for my parents, helping them feel comfortable and confident every step of the way. I also fail to mention that most of this coordination was happening while I (their daughter) was in California - and Andrew still made it all happen for us. Over the course of our search, we interacted with a number of other dealerships and salespeople, but none of them even came close to the level of service and care that Andrew provided. His professionalism, combined with his warm, personable approach, made all the difference. He truly felt like a trusted family friend guiding us through the process. Whoever is lucky enough to work with Andrew and MobilityWorks on their mobility journey has received the gift of ease in what could have been (and had been in the past) a somewhat painful and trying process. Andrew's dedication and attention to detail turned what could have been a stressful experience into a seamless, even enjoyable one. If you're looking for someone who not only knows their stuff but also genuinely cares about making your experience seamless and positive, I highly recommend Andrew Solomon. I'm incredibly grateful for all of his help in making this experience a positive one for my parents. Thank you Andrew and MobilityWorks! Kelly Donahue, Beverly MA

I've always had bad experiences with this location. From sales to service. New Hampshire location…read moreis more sales service friendly. It took me over 6 months to get in contact with someone to schedule a routine service in Woburn. I've had my van for almost 1 year next month. Why bother have an online appointment service request when clearly it states that it doesn't guarantee an appointment! The scheduler on the phone was rude and chuckled after asking me what I need for maintenance when I've already told her routine ramp service. No wonder people don't recommend this location and is unable to keep employees from staying at this location. Service all around is bad.
