I have never been so embarrassed and treated so horribly at a store like this CVS. I have severe nerve damage in both of my hands, and a amputated finger on my left hand. Therefore, I'm unable to grasp anything for more than a couple minutes. I have used this CVS many times, and have informed an employee of theirs of the situation. To allow me to shop anywhere I bring my own bag that I can hang over my shoulder, I put the items that I will purchase in that bag and then bring it to the register to check out. The employee I spoke to said this was absolutely not a problem at all. I have been doing this at the CVS for some time. However, my last visit was horrific. I spend a lot of money at this store as it is the CVS that is closest to me and also where I get my medications. I am a diabetic, and my doctor had not sent in my normal diabetes equipment to the pharmacy. During my last visit I chose what I needed to be able to check my sugar level, and then choose a pair of sandals, I placed the all of these items that I was going to purchase in the bag that I brought, as I do on every visit. There were associates in the CVS that day that I did not recognize, but no biggie as I was doing nothing wrong. One such associate approached me and asked me if I was going to purchase the items in my bag, I responded that of course I was. Several minutes later I had my bag on the floor, the bag was open enough to clearly see the items inside, when another associate stopped right next to me, bent over, and was staring in my bag. I asked if I could help her and all she stated was, "are those sandals?" At this point I was taken aback. I had already told the former employee, which I later found out was a manager, that the items I had on me would be purchased. I felt very uncomfortable and did not want to purchase from the store at this point. So, i Just decided I was not going to. I then approached associate that stopped to stare into my bag, I simply just asked her for her name, she laughed at me and refused to give me her name, asking me why would I need her name. I told her felt very uncomfortable because she stopped to stare in my bag and I thought I was being treated as though I was a criminal who was stealing. She then responded by saying that she did no such thing, I asked her why she was lying, I didn't understand. She was standing next to another employee, who also was laughed at me. I found out this employee was the operations manager, so I can only think that this was the reason that she lied about looking into my bag. I responded to the woman that stopped to stare into my bag, informing her that I didn't think her actions were appropriate and I felt very uncomfortable about how she approached me, that it made me feel as though she believed I was shoplifting and that was a terrible way to feel. She then just walked away from me. I continue to speak to the operations manager and she continued to laugh at me, I asked her why she was laughing and she did not respond. I told her how I felt and she said, "well I don't know what you want me to do about it." She said I could speak to the other manager. I said okay where is he, she pointed and said, "he is right over there with the men in uniform." I looked over and there was a man standing with three police officers. I did not need to approach them because they approached me, one of the offices said that he needed to speak to me. They brought me to a back room, when I try to explain the situation of why the items were in a bag, one of the offices immediately told me to stop talking. They took the items from my bag, and said that I am no longer welcome into the store due to an attempt to shoplift. I kept trying to explain the situation, but again as soon as I would speak I was told to stop talking and I'm not going to argue with men and uniform. Therefore, I now I'm no longer inside of my normal CVS, where I get my prescriptions. They did not even give me the chance to go to the register to check out. I have never in my life encountered something like this. And I do this in every store due to being unable to grip or hold anything for long. It was one of the most shocking experiences that I've had in a retail setting. I was also with a friend of mine and she also is no longer allowed in the store or she would be arrested just because she was in the store with me. Embarrassment doesn't even cover what I went through especially having a friend with me. She started crying and sad that I was shoplifting, I explain to her the situation but I don't know if sheb actually believes me. I just don't understand why they would do something like this before they gave me the chance to check out and result even allowing me to explain. Needless to say, by far the most mortifying experience I have ever had. read more

If you ever want to be treated poorly for simply asking a question about filling your prescription call here. While checking if my medication was in stock the woman was rude, snarky and unprofessional as if I should have already known the answer. I honestly barely ever leave reviews, but being a Registered Nurse myself if I ever treated a patient that way in the hospital I would receive a written warning. I am fully aware that every area of healthcare is short staffed and overwhelmed, I experience it too on a daily basis being treat much worse, but I would never talk to a patient that way. Management needs to address how their employees treat customers as this is far from the first time this has happened. read more

There is very poor communication and checks at this pharmacy. They have twice dispensed the wrong prescription to my fiancé and told him that's impossible because they have systems in place to prevent that. He has had to go in and convince multiple pharmacy techs that his prescription doesn't match the actual product he was given. I stopped going to this pharmacy years ago because they would switch my generic prescription for a different generic because it was what they preferred to stock. read more

the building is better than the walgreens across the way but the products here are very subpar consistently.

This review is just for the pharmacy: I came here at 4:30 & waited over 1.5 hours for 1 prescription. They are so slow it's ridiculous. Not to mention. That the majority of the pharmacy techs were rude & snarky to the customers. I wish smaller pharmacies were still in existence. This was a huge sh*t show. Highly disorganized. read more

Staff turnover is high. Rude customers here all the time. I always try to run in and out, which can be difficult because they always have only one person at a register, who is usually new. read more

The rude incompetent behavior of the pharmacy assistant Elsa, who was working the drive thru window on Saturday afternoon 3/14/2020 at 2:00pm is inexcusable. I realize everyone is under stress because of the extraordinary times we live in but it is no excuse for not doing one's job. My husband was recently in ICU for a life threatening episode and released from inpatient rehab. We drove up to the drive thru window to get his medication. I had questions to ask Elsa about one of his medications , Elsa accused me of yelling at her. Not true, perhaps because she refused to open the drive thru window it sounded that way over the microphone as I thought I was communicating thru a barrier. Elsa refused to listen and told me to come inside with questions , and simply walked away from the window without giving us the medicine!!!! I could not go into CVS because I had cold symptoms which included sneezing. Makes sense right? The window was left unattended , cars were backed up to the street , 5 min later the pharmacist on call came to the window. I took my sun glasses off so he could see my symptoms and asked him if he thought I should go inside. He promptly answered NO. He was able to help us. I tried to call the managing pharmacist as I would not want anyone on my team treating sick people this way. You cant get thru on the phone thus the review. It wasn't until I got home I realized we still had not been given the prescriptions We had to drive back, wait in line and Elsa was at the window and put the prescription through the box, never asking if we had questions. I think that is illegal???? Btw , CVS direct mail order consistently makes mistakes on the medication delivered. Be wary ! I look forward to CVS response. read more

Been here a couple times in the past few weeks. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and well stocked the store was... often the big box stores are not. I got pictures printed here as well which turned out great also. The staff that I have been helped by always seemed very nice and willing to help me find what I was looking for too. read more

I never, ever post a review. However, I had to after today! For school I needed to get a flu shot. The lady who rang me in was so sweet. Mainly, I have to note the pharmacist, who I now regret not asking her name. She was so nice, personable, and even referred to me by name more than once during our 2 minute interaction. She told me how many flu shots she had given out during her shift today, making it a new record for her. After her entire day, what struck me was how kind she was and put things into perspective how tirelessly and selflessly these essential workers are; this one in particular displaying kindness in such unconventional times, and unknowingly making my day. Keep up the work, you're making the days of people in such a small way in times when they need it most. read more

This CVS caters to the low lives who live in the general vicinity. Although the dropping of tobacco sales by CVS as a whole seems to have lessened the amount at times. The pharmacy is jammed full with Masshealth recipients, so don't plan on any quick medicine pick ups. The staff, while nice, looks burned out from being over worked and fatigued from dealing with the less than desirable clientele. read more

She was super knowledge, prompt and friendly. She got my prescription right away for me (it had been expired but I really needed it). Went in here tonight and the staff was all so friendly. The guy working the front checkout had a great personality and talked to me while helping me without making me feel like i was putting him out. Plus they were the only cvs around that actually had what I was looking for. read more

If I could give this CVS 0 stars I would. I came here today while running errands with my 84 year old grandmother. The pharmacy tech was rude, and the pharmacist was beyond rude and unprofessional. When ringing out her vitamins, she asked a simple question about a sale, he got visibly flustered (even tho there was NO ONE waiting in line behind us) and rolled his eyes and rudely said "I don't know I have to call the manager or you can go to the front...I'm a pharmacist..as if he was too good to be scanning items. Like sorry honey you aren't that important, and if you are going to treat customers like that...especially older adults, you should really rethink your career choice. Then we went to the front and the cashier that checked us out was also rude. Just a terrible overall energy in the store. I've never witnessed so many miserable people in one place, yikes. I understand everyone has bad days and no one is going to be polite all the time, but there is NO excuse to treat anyone that poorly ever. I kept my mouth shut because I was with my grandmother and didn't want to further upset her. I'm never someone that complains to management, I've been a waitress for 10 years, and have experience with customer service, and I let a lot slide bc I understand people are human beings and have bad days, but this was completely unacceptable and I will make that known with management. read more

Upon my entrance to this CVS location I took a second and thought, "Why do people go to CVS?" And I realized, no one likes to necessarily go to CVS but its one of those shi**y places you just have no choice but to go. As i went to the register I kindly asked the cashier if they accept Apple Pay. He responded, "no." So i said jokingly that CVS was slacking. Turns out the dude working has a burning passion for the company and will put you in your place if you talk shit about the big 3 (C-V-S). He misheard me and thought i said "CVS sucks" damn did this guy snap for a second until i corrected him. Lets just say i looked it up and walgreens accepts apple pay, but ill stick with CVS because there is nothing better than a good argument at the check out counter. read more
