I've been going to Henry's for the 32 years I've lived in Beverly…read more I consider it to be a reliable place to get quality food. It's expensive, and usually worth it. Especially great are their premade foods by the deli counter. Their different types of chicken salad is a favorite of my husbands. Their cookies are decent, especially the butter crunch. Their house made chicken pot pie is very popular with so many people, I have brought it to friends when they are home sick and I don't want to cook. No one is disappointed with that. They make all their food in-house. So good. Their desserts are quite good. Recently had a small event and didn't feel like cooking. I supplemented with a gallon of their hearty vegetable soup, and their little desserts. The veggie soup was just too healthy to be popular with this crowd, so that was a bad choice on my part. The desserts were a bit hit. They have flowers, cute paper goods, great house made hamburgers, we go there often. Never disappointing, but much more expensive than Shaws or Market Basket. Having said that, we feel it is worth it.

He couldn't either so the girl asked the manager Eddy about the product. So he said, go to the service desk and have them give you a rain check. As I continued my shopping, Eddie looked for me and gave me what I needed and he told me it was because the packaging was different so he went above and beyond as a manager to help me get what I wanted. I was so happy when he did that I was like wow he actually followed through with it. I do wanna say he did a great job, cahoots to Eddie. Great Job Shaws for the experienced managers. The first was my order continuously being skipped over a few weeks ago. I gave up with that and got something from the hot bar. Today, I ordered a steak bomb sub from the counter. My friend ordered two chicken sandwiches. These people let my order get stolen by another customer. They then made another steak bomb for me and proceeded to wrap up a regular steak and cheese which barely had anything. They left the other sub on the counter unwrapped before by standing customers had to step in before they finally gave me the sub I asked for. Please, NEVER order from this counter. The employees were nothing but rude to me. These people should be ashamed for this. Very unprofessional.

The tangerines I bought yesterday were so horrible I had to throw them out. The only thing Trader Joes does well is marketing. It's practically fraud and misrepresentation the way they market their products. Anyone who gives that place a good review is either lying, mentally ill, or on some happy weed.

They do need to decide if they are going to be the next Henry's or the next Family Dollar - the 'made for food service' stuff that isn't supposed to be sold in a grocery store is a little odd. They've also got to streamline checkout - everyone is always very friendly - I know I said this already - but sometimes that doesn't make up for appearing to have never seen a cash register before.
