The guy at the register was an asshole and charged me extra when I got mad at him for the spill. When I walked out I threw my drink at him and then went to Burger King across the street which had way better service. I had my water go from $2 to $1.89 to $2.25 all in one week. When I said I didn't want it and walked out, I was telling a guy on his smoke break what happened and the owner came outside and screamed at me over and over again, I'm 5'2 and a female. I told the guy I was talking to, to have a good night and told the owner to fuck off and I'd call the BBB, probably something I'll do when I'm bored. Unfortunately, the man working the bagel station this morning around 7:30a.m. was so extremely rude and disrespectful I was beside myself. He got so angry that I reached over to grab a tray for my 3 coffees. He snapped and yelled how customers just come in and do what they want and reaching for whatever they want. I looked at the women on the register and apologized for grabbing the tray. She said it's ok with an I'm sorry look where she knows who I am where I am there that often. After grabbing the rest of my order, I walked over to the convenient side of the store to buy a couple lottery tickets when the same man proceeded to speak loudly for me to hear "She just thinks just can just come here and do what she wants like she own's the place!" I was in complete disbelief when I heard that. I am a very frequent flyer at this store and always treat everyone with respect. I grabbed a tray where I had purchased 3 coffees, and they were very busy where it was early in the morning. I spend almost $10.00-$20.00 per day there five times per week to be treated with such ignorance and disrespect. I will no longer order any coffee there again after the way I was treated. It's unfortunate because the rest of the staff is very pleasant.

I could not wait for her to call around to different places, so she said she would do it and then call or text me when she found the medicine at another Walgreens. To be honest, I was not expecting a call back because perhaps she was too busy, BUT, a couple hours later, she did call me, and told me a nearby store to pick it up at. She was very polite. Some might say, "well of course, she was doing her job", BUT, there are a lot of employees who do NOT do their job once the customer is gone from the counter--they forget about them. Cindy did not. So, thank you, Cindy, and thank you Walgreens.

I had a quick trip to the North Shore to visit in-laws and I was flying out a couple days later on a business trip out of Logan. What I forgot to think of on my trip is that my antibiotic supply for a recent spider bite was nearly exhausted. I had one more refill on this script but it was called in to a Walgreens near my home in NY and it was a Sunday. I decided to visit the Beverly store first thing Monday morning to see if there was any way I could transfer my reservation there or have my Doctor call them. I was greeted by a female pharmacist who listened to my shortened version of my dilemma and she quickly said "no problem let me see what I can do". She found me in the Walgreens system and was able to transfer my order to Beverly. Next challenge was to make sure NY insurance would cover it. She asked me to give her 10 minutes so I did a quick shopping spree around the store. I returned in what was probably 8 minutes and she had my order filled and fully covered by insurance. I know this isn't the most interesting review but the exceptional care and attention I was given was honestly unexpected and refreshing. Great job to this employee and her team.

Don't know if Coke has some sort of monopoly on the soft drink market but it was incredibly frustrating. Found this place, and although the inside looked a little unkempt they were fully stocked with Pepsi products and I was able to get a Mountain Dew to satsify my craving.

The place is dated, a little rough, but it's own charm as a neighborhood packie. Of course the new developments on Rantoul St is changing the face of downtown Beverly from a somewhat rough but friendly area, to bougie up and coming over developed monstrosity. It will be interesting to see how this business fares, it most likely do well with the influx of new residents.
