I was given a gift card for my birthday from my friend from this CVS. I was saving it to use with some other gift cards to the same company. Well I went to use them and all of them applied to my balance except one. And that one looked like the access code was tampered with. I had the company look into the gift card that I was trying to use it at. They said someone used it on a designer purse. I literally received 6 gift cards for the same place to shop. So it was very embarrassing to have to figure out what friend gave me what so I could try and right the situation. I had called CVS and explained the situation and I told the guy that the gift cards should never be on the floor where customers can reach and tamper with them. He said "I know". Well if they know.... Why is this still happening. That means they are clearly having gift card fraud a lot if he knows!! And then the person receiving the gift has to waste so much of their own time to get what was rightfully theirs!! Then CVS told me there was as nothing they could do unless I could provide more information. I had to grill my friend who bought me the gift card. She had to spend a bunch of time looking through her records for more info to give to me. This is not right!! I provided information to CVS and still have not heard back. I want my money I am owed!! CVS should not have gift cards where customers can take pictures of the back of the gift cards and then steel money from unsuspecting customers giving gifts. I am so frustrated by the lack of help. Honestly I think majority of these people who complain in the reviews have never had to work in a place like this with such demanding, cranky, sick, entitled people (and probably careless management). They treat me great! However I come in and leave my problems at the door haha so.. ANYWAYS!! ONE star missing simply due to the fact I called and used their automatic voice message to leave a voicemail to ask if they could send my prescription to another location bc I was stuck at the E.R. And wouldn't make it on time, they never got back to me like the automated message says they will but I just called again, said I was calling from a doctors office/provider, spoke to someone that way and got all the help I needed with no issues or attitude!! They even faxed it over FOR ME so they'd for sure have it ready once I leave the E.R.!! read more

This was the worst experience I have ad at a cvs or store. They followed me around for my entire visit. I mean within 3-5 feet. When I asked what is wrong they said corporate policy is to follow people around to make sure they don't steal. I said he didn't have to be that close. They said they had to make sure. The pharmacist refused to fill my prescription because she said the instructions were unclear. They were not, the amount of times it was administered per day simply decreased after day two. She refused to call the doctor for clarification, insisting that the doctor should call her because, "I'm too busy to call." Of course, far busier than a doctor. It took 45 minutes of back and forth to finally get another pharmacist to make the call. He said he would handle it himself, and then admonished me to "don't ever go to them again", meaning the doctor. Ha! Guess who I won't be going to again. read more

Dont buy gift cards at this CVS. I bought and paid for a $25 gift card that apparently was not loaded with the money and when my friend tried to exchange it for her gift at a store it showed a zero amount. The CVS manager couldn't refund me because the receipt I had "didn't have a bar code." I have not had any problems with the pharmacy. When I order via my phone or call the store, my prescriptions are always ready when they say they are. A pharmacist will always talk to me if I am getting a new rx, which I appreciate. I usually go to the drive thru and sometimes there is a wait, but the trade off is going into the store and my complaint there is that they have no shopping carts so I go to another location if I have a few items to purchase. read more

CVS Pharmacy filled my medication bottle with something that literally can kill me- and won't take responsibility. I have the wrong pill, they are the ONLY pharmacy that fills my meds. NO ONE has been in my house to visit me in the last 3 months because I've been on bedrest and I've NEVER been prescribed the wrong pills they gave me before. They tried using the "we take pictures" excuse as if they couldn't just change it after the picture was taken lol. I stood in line for about 5 minuets and when I was getting ready to walk up I was told "we are actually headed to lunch and close from 1230-1pm". At first, I had a bad experience with an unfriendly male pharmacist who kept cutting me off while I was still talking which, by the way, gave me incorrect instructions to go elsewhere. However, when I came back, I was helped by the nicest and most courteous pharmacist, named Angela. I really needed my prescription because my procedure is tomorrow. She was rude, unprofessional, and aggressive . I always come to this location. This was the first time someone treated me this way!! I hope when they are hiring they are looking for qualifications more than just a degree. People need to respect each other and have sympathy. Wow! The lack of effort put forth by whomever called me back is pathetic. I kept having to explain the question to her over and over again. The CVS inside target could not fill my medication so they told me to reach out to a standalone one. She kept repeating that they couldn't fill my prescription because I'm not in their city (I'm 1.8 miles away). She then put me on hold and when she came back on she told me I had to speak to the pharmacist because she didn't know. When I mentioned to her that option isn't available when you call the automated number she told me that 'it's probably the same rule'. So it is or isn't? So unhelpful! read more

I am actually on the phone with CVS pharmacy Coprorate as I am writing this review. I've given this pharmacy way too many chances for them to be taking my hard earned money and my insurance's money to be treating their customers like this. The parking here is non existent. everyone from the gym next door parks in this CVS parking lot even the spaces written for 20 minute parking only. Clearly people are taking advantage of this space. Let's get to the two head pharmacists at this location Nancy and I believe Isabella or Isabel I believe her name is since no one wears their name tag on a consistent basis. These two head pharmacists are the ones enabling this toxic environment to thrive. They are setting the example for how the other pharmacists treat their customers. If they see these two talking to customers in a negative tone, indifferent way and passive aggressive manner it's because single handedly Nancy and Isabel(la) are setting the example for their peers to follow. It's disheartening to see CVS Pharamacy come to this. Yelpers if you want to be ripped off and shortchanged on your prescriptions this is the place to go, or you can take your business elsewhere and support the pharmacies THAT Actually CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. The pharmacist here is the rudest out there although they did try and stay open a little bit later for me. It wasn't like 8:57 when they said we're closing the pharmacist never even asked me or gave me any instructions on how to use the medication what a liability not only is she rude, but it's more important for her to get out at 9 o'clock on the dot then it is for my safety. seriously would five minutes have killed her the gentleman there was very nice. This CVS Pharmacy is where I usually get my prescription. They have very helpful staff and everyone is really friendly. The pharmacist will make sure that you understood how to take your prescription before letting you go. The shelves are well stocked and organized - you can easily find the item you're looking for. I've been using this pharmacy for over 4 years. I called to check on a prescription and "Matthew" really needs training on professionalism. He doesn't shut his mouth long enough to listen. When you're in health care your attitude should not be like Matthew's. He seemed robotic and showed no remorse in an urgent situation. I wish I could do zero stars for Anna and five stars for Gina. However, since it is not possible, I'll go ahead and choose 3. This is my first time using services at this pharmacy and if it wasn't for Gina, I am pretty sure it will be my last time as well . I called the pharmacy right after I left the doctors office to check on the status on the prescription. Anna picked up the phone and did confirm the prescription was received, but she could not start it since my insurance information was not updated. I asked her to take the information over the phone since I was really sick and I couldn't stop by anytime soon, she refused service and said she couldn't take that information over the phone. I explain to her my situation and she said I could get somebody to go in for me . I told her I didn't have anyone and she said she couldn't do anything about it and ended call. I called the second time and spoke to Gina, she was kind enough to listen to my situation and updated everything over the phone within two minutes. They still have a decent amount of goods even though it's a very small cvs, it's much safer than the one near my house.
