I stopped by this Walgreens today because I placed my magnet photo to be printed here. I pick this…read morelocation because I was grabbing food across the street. I put in my magnet photo off the website and it said it would be ready for pickup in about thirty minutes. So I left my house and by the time I arrived to the store, I got an email that it was cancelled. I still walked inside the store to get familiar with where things are if I was to come back here again. The photo department is on the left side of the store and the pharmacy is toward the back. The prices of things will vary depending on what you're looking for but most of the time, it is pricer here than other places from my experience. I found parking easily and they also have destinated parking spots for curbsides pickup.

Because of that, we end up missing out on rewards and deals. Savannah and Ruby are always friendly, helpful, and pleasant to deal with. However, Andrew is a different experience. He often has a straight face and comes across as unfriendly. His attitude seems to depend on the day, but customer service should be consistent. Unfortunately, he's very difficult to deal with, which makes the overall experience less enjoyable.

This review is for the photo department only. I usually order my small 4x6 prints from CVS because…read morethey're done quickly, and I can pick them up within just a few hours. Plus, they often have great deals on their app. This time, they had 50% off all photos! I love to bulk order family photos a couple of times a year to keep those memories close. The CVS app makes it so easy to upload photos directly from your phone, computer, or even Google Photos--lots of convenient options. While I was leaving, I spotted the Marvel superhero beanie babies and couldn't resist picking up a mini Hulk. It's so adorable! This CVS location is a CVS y más, so it also has a good selection of grocery items.

1-Star Review - CVS Pharmacy, Sherman Way, Canoga Park…read more Disappointing First Visit - Unfriendly Customer Service and Inconsistent Instructions This was my first time visiting this CVS location, mainly because it is conveniently located near my workplace. Unfortunately, my first experience was far from pleasant. I recently received an OTC card and was using it for the very first time. Naturally, I wasn't familiar with how it worked, so I approached a female employee for assistance. Instead of explaining the process, she simply told me to go to aisle 25 on the left-hand side. Her tone wasn't welcoming or helpful at all. After selecting the items I needed, I went to check out, and unfortunately, the same employee assisted me. Once again, I noticed her unfriendly attitude and the way she spoke to me. She scanned my first item and immediately instructed me to swipe my OTC card. I explained that I still had several more items to purchase, but she insisted that this was how the process worked--scan one item, swipe the card, and pay for it individually. I politely expressed that I didn't think that made sense, especially since I had multiple items to purchase. Rather than explaining further, she seemed increasingly irritated by my questions and disagreement. Eventually, she passed me over to another female employee, who took over the transaction. To my surprise, this second employee scanned all my items together and then instructed me to swipe my OTC card just once to complete the purchase--exactly how I thought it should have been done in the first place! I asked the second employee why the first lady had insisted on doing it differently. She simply looked at me and smiled, apparently choosing not to comment. My biggest disappointment wasn't even the confusion about the OTC card. It was the lack of patience, courtesy, and professionalism from the first employee. As a first-time OTC card user, I was simply asking for guidance. I wasn't expecting special treatment, just a little kindness and a willingness to help. Customers shouldn't feel uncomfortable or intimidated for asking questions, especially when they're unfamiliar with a payment process. I appreciate the second employee for stepping in and completing my transaction smoothly. Customer service isn't just about completing a transaction. It's about how you treat people along the way. Unfortunately, this first visit left me with a very disappointing impression of this CVS location. I hope management takes customer service concerns seriously and reminds employees that a little patience and courtesy can make a big difference.

I went to pick up my prescription. While I was checking in at the pharmacy, the computer asked me…read moreif I wanted to apply for the extra care points for free so I thought sure why not. The lady at the pick up station helping me was not wearing a name badge but I heard another employee call her Nuri or Yuri, something similar (lady with shoulder length black hair). I told her I had applied for the extra care points and she scuffed at me and shook her head annoyed at me then walked away to get something to reset her computer. I have cancer and I'm just picking up my medicine. I don't deserve to be treated like that or made to feel bad for doing something the CVS system asked me to do. That was a horrible feeling, I will not be returning to this pharmacy! The only good part was the woman who helped me apply my insurance card to my medication price, a lot of thanks to her. And Nuri or Yuri should find another job if she's so easily bothered.

CVS has generally had the products I need and want at a reasonable price. But I'm done with CVS…read more Two things: their aggressive hustling of the ExtraCare card and employees that lack respect for the elderly. While seemingly there are advantages to the ExtraCare/ExtraCare Plus, many customers simply want to pay for what they want and need and go home. Others don't have the "credentials" necessary, namely an email address, and that makes it impossible for them to participate. Today I saw an elderly couple not be able to make their purchase because the system couldn't enroll them without an email address, which they said several times they did not have one. Never did I hear the employee tell them that they could just make their purchase anyway. They left without what they needed. No apology, just "it won't let me do that without an email because there is nowhere to send..." And then it was my turn and I was greeted by "Next" (I was the only one standing there waiting) and called "Boss". Normally I look past this mannerism of the younger generation but today it made it clear that there seems to be a lack of respect for elders by some CVS employees. This is clearly a management failure. While the young man was never outrightly rude, he was never polite either. How about a bit more respect and understanding for the senior members of the community, who are a large part of the CVS customer base?
