This was and is by far the Best CVS ive ever gone through. Super Knowledgeable staff and just a very welcoming atmosphere. I have a hard time talking with people due to my anxiety but the workers there were OUTSTANDING!!! I Believe Elijah was his name and my god he made everything so easy and stress free that i was in and out in a flash. Honestly there for like 15 min MAX. Love their drive thru pharmacy. It can be a wait inside for service at the counter. I rather swing through and wait in my car away from the line. They are pretty efficient. Smaller beauty selection than I'd like for nail polish but I only shop when waiting for meds. There can be great deals if you use your cvs card with promotions. read more

The so called pharmacy manager a heavy dark haired and olive skinned guy manager is rude , not smart and makes people wait for 3 hours at a time behind the drive thru. I waited outside drive rehiring for 3 hours in the 100 degree reseda heat and he had the rude manner of accusing me of honking. Absolute worst CVS pharmacy I've ever been to. The only decent pharmacy tech is a young black man, and I don't even think he regularly works there. The worst one is a young woman (I think Indian/middle eastern; I'm sorry if that's rude). She is abrubt, rude, interrupts you, and just overall provides a terrible experience. Incompetent pharmacy staff. Staff finds filling basic prescriptions challenging. They are resistant to calling prescribing doctors to ask for refills. Waited 4 days for a generic seizure medication for a member of our household to only be told they still couldn't fill it (even after receiving the text that it was ready and being told over the phone the same). Very frustrating as this is an important medication. Transfered it to another pharmacy that got it ready that afternoon. read more

I came to drop off a prescription. They did not greet, after 2 minutes someone noticed me at the counter and told they will be with me in a moment. After waiting few more minutes at the drop off window one tech came and said the waiting time to fill a prescription is 2 hours and they are 3 days behind. The tech did not have a name badge which is a clear violation. I know CVS policy only allows 10 minutes wait. What can you accept from a pharmacy which is 3 days behind (if she was true). This pharmacy is ridiculous, i went to get my prescription through the drive through bc i got a text yesterday it was ready & the pharmacist is about to charge me $150+ for my medicine, i told her i have insurance & it should be covered so she looks again is like "oh yeah you do well give us 10 mins & come back around" when i came back she's asking me how i got that doctor, if he's my primary dr, how i got my prescription & if i'm going to follow up with them like why are you asking me so many questions like it was weird & unprofessional... will definitely be switching pharmacies after this. read more

I had knee replacement surgery 10 days ago. My dr is across the street from this CVS. My dr write a prescription for pain medication. My husband brought the RX to this CVS and we went to the deli next door had breakfast and waited for the pharmacy to text my husband when it was ready. After an hour we decided to just walk in and see if it was ready, I was tired and needed to go home to ice my knee. The pharmacist said she was waiting for the dr to call back because she didn't believe it was a real prescription. What! I called the Drs office and they said the medical assistants do the call backs but at the end of the day. They were upset that the pharmacist questioned their prescription. We took back the prescription and had it filled at Walgreens in Reseda. The staff there is professional and compassionate and everyone has a smile on their face. The last few times I have been into any CVS the service is poor, clerks have been rude to customers and the pharmacies at Porter Ranch and this Reseda store come off as overly worked and are just so put out. We will be taking our business to Walgreens. No need for us to ever be in another CVS read more

I HAD been a customer of CVS (many area stores, but Rx at this location until @ 3 months ago. This company cares NOTHING about service or customer care. MY Physician called them "bottle fillers" which is all they do. As the yars have passed they have cut cut cut cut the labor force to a point that many times prescription items must be ordered when presenting an Rx because there is no one to order and maintain stock. The final straw for me was when the pharmacist of 5 years retired and after that nearly the entire pharmacy staff was either fired, gotten reduced hours or quit. EVERY WEEK there is a NEW PHARMACIST, they call them "floaters", it's the WORST. Even employees that remain whisper to me that they are quitting soon. The CVS at 7400 Reseda Blvd has a drive up window. If you are lucky enough to be able to drive right to the front, you'll still wait 20-30 minutes, that is if your Rx order was called in the day before, otherwise...well do you have a few hours to kill? They lost nearly $60,000 worth of Rx biz with me ALONE (in insurance re-reimbursement) and so many others have left. Watch their stock, I believe they will soon be BK. My new pharmacy 1) delivers FREE, 2) Nancy has been there 14 years and is in her 40's. One more item, some of my medications required a 'prior authorization' from the Doctor t fill (a really simple process but it takes an effort on the part of the pharmacy. Instead of CVS doing this I paid extra, as they did not care or did not have the time to do this. Nancy automatically handled all the prior authorizations I had needed,I did not even have to ask. There was one Rx I gave to CVS (it cost over 6K per month, they said it was not covered. I found that all that was needed was a prior authorization, which Nancy had done for me, I did not even have to ask. Additionally I had often called 800-SHOP CVS to complain and was PROMISED A ALL BACK from a regional manager---I am still waiting for the call back, "do you think they care two hoots about you? When I asked CVS why this was never done, they responded "we just don't have the time". STAY AWAY FROM ALL CVS, GET YOURSELF A SMALL INDEPENDENT PHARMACY, THEY WILL BE SOOO GRATEFUL FOR YOUR BUSINESS, AND YOU WILL SEE THAT IN THE RESULTS YOU GET----LET CVS GO UNDER. Oh yes, if I need an antibiotic and it's Saturday or Sunday I will go there but that's it. My Pharmacist Nancy also educated meas to some medications where the Government require a pharmacy to fill but they all lose money on them. I'll not mention which but I STILL GIVE THOSE TO CVS!!! Be careful with their Pharmacy Techs! Have been a customer before but recent incident I had a tech who seemed like she couldn't get a transaction approved by my insurance, takes a picture of my medical card with her personal cellphone, completely negates the fact that she did so when I inquire about that (except I saw the screen of her phone as it snapped the picture), and then when I go to a different pharmacy it turns out she billed my insurance for prescriptions I had with me and taken elsewhere... 2 Stars because my wife used to go to them and never had any issues prior to this, but makes me unease knowing they hire individuals who are trying to sneak in pictures of personal information on their personal devices. Waited over an hour on line and when it was finally my turn ,the idiot on the window told me I was too late and that the medical practitioner was gone. He told me that I should of been there an hour early. Freaking idiots never told me before even when they called me to confirm the appointment they never told me to be an hour early. I don't have an issue with the staff. The staff was very friendly, and the lady helping us had initially said we'd have to come back the next day for meds, instead found a way to get us taken care of in one transaction. What I DO have a problem with is the type of people loitering around, and not to mention the uneasy, unclean feeling you get sitting back in that waiting area. Very disapointed on the pharmacy. Their online hours say they are open until 6pm, they closed at 5:30pm. They took my prescription and said to pick up at 10am the next day, (that would be today). I called to double check that the meds were ready before heading out but they put me on hold then never picked up again, I made it here before they even picked up! Pure good brought me to an emotion executioner, the female Mephistopheles. I deal with Bi-Polar depression and hernias. I started going to a CVS on Sherman Way in 2014. Store #9602. Two pharmacists, Anna and Jenny, took a genuine interest in the ups and downs that plagued. I don't know why because I'm not a good conversationalist and tell dumb jokes only I laugh at. Born with a small frame, I'm prone to hernias from weightlifting as I grew into an awkward adult. One in the worst place for a man, also cursed with fluid built up in testicle and a cyst. Anna and Jenny became the best pharmacists I have known. If too depressed to get out of bed, they would call to check on me when someone else picked up my meds. They became Delta Force when my docs screwed up prescriptions but made sure I didn't run out of Bi-Polar meds. Their concern of my mental war made me feeI human. Pain management gives me the lowest dose of Norco; half what I used to get before my first umbilical surgery. It tore again because cheap state doc didn't put a mesh in to support my weak stomach lining. So same pain, but half the pain relief. Never asked PM to raise it because I didn't want the Scarlet Letter D for being thought an addict as the opiate witch hunt ramps up. My insurance dropped, taking 6 months to get back to pain management. I kept them as pharmacists despite moving and having closer CVS. Their kindness helped me through a nightmare year and a half; fiancee broke, manager, who was more of a father to me than my dead , passed; great Aunt died, elderly friend I was moving in to help take care of him with COPD; croaked. My wonderful cat Eddie dies. I helplessly watched him rot for months from a skin disease. My bestfriend died. I adorn ancient Egyptian face-paint in memory of him when I DJ'd back in Chi. Paint also hides the sadness in my eyes and helps remember my best days when I was happy. On Halloween, PM gives me the same prescription -- Anna and Jenny are gone. Pharmacist says they don't have enough to fill it. She recommends a CVS close to me since i'm already in the system. Face paint fits on Halloween. But depression keeps me from caring about clothes. My matronly Chinese friend has been encouragement to not forsake my writing dream in this despair. She's a pillar in her church and gives me rides. I don't disclose all the sensitive nature with my fellas down there; it's embarrassing to share broken junk details with ladies. About 8:40 I enter this perfect Haunted CVS. She says she can keep the scripts and fill in the morning. Or tells us we can take it to the 24-hour CVS on Ventura. First we heard of a 24-hour CVS Pharmacy. At the 24 hour, Pick-Up Broadzilla tech gives us a moon wave, the others two scoops of sunshine smile. Pharmacist says I'm two days early to fill. They can keep the script and have it ready the 2nd. I wasn't keeping track but by date on script. Might as well take it to the CVS next to me and fill tomorrow. I come in with Chinese ride. Pharmacist Evil Jeena drips disdain, telling me she won't do anything until tomorrow after she calls Pain M and deems my ailments worth. She treated me like an addict in front of my friend. Scowled at my face paint, rolling her eyes. I said I would complain. I have been a customer for years and have never been told this. It rattled me.She thought she's untouchable as if complaining wouldn't matter. And it hasn't judging by Yelp's reviews. She clearly took aim at my clothes and hate of the face paint. Yelp reviews are a clear indication CVS HQ has lost touch with it's customers to let this maniacal machine to continue working. If I would have walked in here during the peak of my mourning the deaths around me, Jeena's coldness and harsh better than everyone attitude of would have probably pushed me over the edge to attempt suicide. She makes you feel that small and inconsequential in the world. I would rather run in front of a bus than take another blast of icy, belittling air from her. I learned feeling important and loved from Anna and Jenny, setting the best of what pharmacists should be-- and ran into the polar opposite. Another note is I actually picked up my last prescription a day late. Other Pharmacist caught that, that's why she said she could fill it tomorrow -- then Jeena showed up to dig trenches into the hearts of people before they can get pain relief or feel happy. I couldn't believe she would still stand and keep her job, rather than slither and be forced back into the dark abyss that gives her purpose everyday. She will, if not already, drive someone's low self-esteem to death some day. read more

It's the first time I've read the reviews on this place and now that I have, I agree about the pharmacy. The gal who just helped me was so annoyed by the hiccups with my coupon (wrong# was punched in) and my inability to quickly find my health insurance card. Although I wasn't feeling well, I was still polite to her but in the end when I asked her to hold my prescription and items while I drove back to my other doctor to retrieve my card, her attitude (facial expressions and literally angrily throwing my stuff in a bag) was too much for me so I had to call her out on it. I actually (sarcastically) apologized for annoying her because I told her that I could read it all over her face. I'm going to give her a couple of hours before I return because that kind of attitude from someone who's in a position that should be providing a service with empathy, really deserves a punch in the face. read more

The girl literally was on her phone as she was ringing up my items and then didn't give me my receipt and just kept scrolling through her Facebook. I thought it was rude as hell and where was another worker? I usually don't complain about little things like this. CVS isn't a high end store that needs to have five star customer service. But I'm pretty sure if I was her and I was on my phone while a customer was trying to buy something from me I would've put it away. Isn't there a no phone policy in the work place? I am an Office Manager for a Doctors office in the area and Matthew was very RUDE and CONDESCENDING to my staff and to the Doctor. They would not move an extra finger for you, they stand lengthy in quiet mode when you talk to them, they ask you the same question several times because they don't pay attention to what you say! In order to have a prescription filled you need to wait several days, just to be asked again, what exactly do you need? Really horrible pharmacy. Wish I could go somewhere else but this is my closest pharmacy. They employ really incompetent workers here - its almost like it's one of their requirements for employment. Takes like 30 minutes to pick up a prescription sometimes. All the employees just stand around and look at you when there are a bunch of people in line - maybe help??
