If I could I would give this pharmacy zero stars. I have been a customer since cvs was Savon. I'm so disappointed at the level of care I have received. CVS does not care about its customers. The pharmacist Matt is extremely rude. This pharmacy also does not answer the phone I have been on hold with this pharmacy for one hour and no one has come to the phone after I was asked to hold. I decided to go to CVS while still on hold on the phone and ended up waiting in line 20 minutes then an additional 10 minutes just to be greeted. When I explained to them that they still have me on hold they showed no compassion no empathy or no remorse. One of the techs even chuckled when I told her that I'm still on hold with the pharmacy as we spoke. This is not my first incident with CVS I always have problems I always have problems filling prescriptions. I've had occasions where I would wait in line 30 to 40 minutes to get to the window and even though I received a text letting me know my medication was ready it in fact wasn't. I've also had occasions where this pharmacy did not have my prescription and they refused to help me locate a CVS that did. I've never experienced this level of horrible customer service and lack of empathy from health care store pharmacy or office. I'm tired of going through this after many years and seen no improvement so therefore I will be taking my prescriptions to another pharmacy that is capable of showing basic human kindness and compassion. read more

Don't buy prescriptions drugs I think she is a supervisor but not sure, I came to buy my pills, 1 hour waiting for pickup. The cashier was super nice and professional, the "supervisor" or manager kept speaking not nicely to him and you can see she don't respect him at all. I called before came to the pharmacy and asked how long waiting for pickup and they told me 30 min, Not 60 minutes like she told me, the cashier said 10-15 minutes and then she got involved in her Inappropriate behavior again and said its 1 hour, I told her that I called and asked before and on the phone they said 30 min, she asked "who told you that" giving me the feeling that I'm laying. The worst pharmacy ever! I have received an authorization for nausea medication. Came to the pharmacy to pickup the medication just to find ridiculously unhelpful staff. First I waited 15 minutes in pickup line after dropping off my prescription 3 weeks prior (waiting for authorization) and was told that I have to go thru drop off again. So then I waited another 15 minutes in drop off line to hear that they don't have the authorization (meanwhile I have received 2 approval letters). They didn't even offer me to call the insurance to verify. It didn't happen until I requested a call to my insurance company. Ridiculous!!! Horrible service. read more

Do not come here for your medication, they are super disorganized. I was blamed that I already picked up my medication, even though I said the paper says FILLED, not picked up. They still insisted I did. When I get home, they call to say there was a hiccup and it would be ready next evening. I come back a day after they said it would be ready and they are telling me it is still not ready!! Total waste of 4 trips to this place. My other trips included of them trying to get approval from my insurance. Explain why they call to tell me its been approve and ready for pick up and when I arrive, all of a sudden the insurance has unapproved it again?! This is a Micky Mouse operation. read more

So why in the world would a person review one of the largest pharmacy chains in America? Because this branch rocks! I've been coming here for years and have never had an unsatisfactory experience. Not once. For me, it comes down to the pharmacists in the back of the store. While I don't know any of their names, they are almost all familiar faces. That is, just about all of them have been there for years. To a person, they are unfailingly helpful in an old school pharmacy kind of way, always giving instructions on how to take whatever prescriptions we happen to be picking up. They make sound recommendations on over the counter products as well. Furthermore, they have very nice bargains on food products, often significantly better than the same items at Ralphs and other supermarkets. Another nice feature is their drive in window. In short, this is a great pharmacy. read more

CVS itself is horrible. I would give every one of these places 1 broken star. My girlfriend and I drove to 3 different CVSs that also claimed to be 24hrs from Van Nuys to Reseda and ended up at this CVS only to be told that they could not fill our prescription because they were too busy and the pharmacy closes at 8pm. It says 24hrs.. CVS is full of $hit! I will never shop at your stores ever again. read more

The whole pharmacy staff is good, and they slam out a lot of prescriptions there, so they are usually very busy. I can be a cranky old futz and they handle me, my meds, and my muttering very professionally. I have been to several of these chain pharmacies where they just didn't seem to give a crap. They just 'assembly line' the meds out and too bad if you have to sit for an hour or more. These folks at least seem to be concerned and helpful to their customers. Sarah is the lead pharma tech (I believe that's her title) and she is a wiz at getting stuff done for me quickly and properly and is a skillful go-between with my doctors and the insurance. She has really gone the extra mile to be helpful to me. I do appreciate her efforts and that of all the the pharmacy staff. 5 stars. BTW, some people need to learn to be courteous and not act like a dickhead, (like one reviewer here). Learn to communicate, buddy. Act like a human being and maybe someone will then treat you like one. If you simply bark and snarl like a rabid dog, chances are someone will come along and poke you with a stick.... I have no qualms with this place~ It was clean and seemed organized, and had the mane n tail shampoo that i initially came in to pick up, but i ended up grabbing a sulfate-free loreal shampoo and conditioner. I came in on a sunday evening and seemed pretty empty save a couple people, and the size of the store was fair. I noticed there was another cvs just up the street, so i figure they didn't find it necessary to make any particular store in the area large lol. read more

This is our last time here. We have been loyal for many years and especially during the last six months of slower and slower prescriptions and increasing dirty conditions. Was in the ER last night and an RX was phoned in then and at 5:45 today IT IS still NOT ready!!!!!! The staffat the CVS on Reseda and Ventura in Tarzana, CA are the most incapable bunch of people. I have encountered so many problems with my medications, at that pharmacy, that I cannot continue to use them anymore! They tell my Dr when he call in my urgent medication, that they CAN do same day delivery for 7.95$ they go as far as to call me, confirm my address and say "its on it's way!" So, I wait. Then I call them an hour later and they say " it's not ready, and they don't know what I'm talking about, I will receive it in 3 days! What?! Am I having a nightmare?! They did this 2times in 1 week, in different instances. They have lost my respect and my business, and Melissa, well don't talk to her because she is not helpful at all! The absolute worst! I hope no one else goes there because you might die before they get competent enough to fill your live saving medications! Good luck when visiting that pharmacy, because you will need it! read more

So, I used to work for CVS CORP office and I myself worked in retail pharmacy for 8 years, so I understand the ins and outs of a pharmacy. I also understand how overwhelming this job is. I get it, I really do. However, the technician Niri should learn how to be a little nicer to customers. Spoke to the male Rph here and was given a pick up time. I arrive and the most important one was "not ready" Niri with an attitude said "it'll be ready in an hour" with this hatred towards her job TRUST ME I get it. Left this field for the same reason. But as a technician your one hour pick up is absurd. I then tell her what? Why an hour? I spoke with your pharmacist and he said it'll be ready...She turns around to make a face and whispers whatever rude comment she had of me.. come back and says "it'll be one minute" cool, she quickly changes her attitude. Theres no need to be rude to customers. The male technician is always so sweet whenever I stop by. Niri I totally get it but at least fake your customer service. read more

The worst customer service ever! I came in today to make a return for something I purchased last week. I have my receipt but they deny to make a return because purchase was made with a gift card. I used up and throw away the gift cart. They said they cannot make a return even for the store credit because they saw that I have a receipt. They send me to another location. They say try there and do not show the receipt so they would issue a store credit. This is incredibly stupid! read more

seriously im about done with cvs they dont have any type of manners for the costumers . so i came to drop off a prescription at the pharmacy for my gf that had just had c section they denied it and assumed i was trying to get the narcotic they had prescribed her when i was only trying to drop off the prescription .. anyways they made a big issue made me go back and forth from the hospital and wasted my time they didnt end up giving me pr my gf the prescription ! so we decided to go to the northridge hospital pharmacy and had no issue there we got her meds in under 20 mins stupid cvs stereotyping me read more

I have been going to this CVS since it opened, and it has gone noticeably downhill over the years. THE PHARMACY STAFF IS THE BEST YOU WILL EVER FIND ANYWHERE AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN--THEY ABSOLUTELY GET 5 STARS. But as far as the floor staff is concerned, this used to be like neighborhood businesses used to be; in fact, if you came in often enough, they'd even get to know you by name. Now it's just another store. I've contacted their corporate offices to no avail. It's like Corporate went and sucked all the happiness out of their employees. I used to look forward to shopping here; now, maybe I'll shop here, maybe I won't. Except for their pharmacy, I just don't feel any special connection to CVS anymore; and there is no question in my mind that, based on Rewards Plan changes, tremendously reduced staffing, and a noticeable decrease in employee morale, this is due to poor management at the corporate level. read more
