Twice now I have believed the pharmacy employees when they told me they were going to call my doctor, get my prescription refilled and call me back. The pharmacy employees don't do their job here, so the consumer must do their job for them. So very frustrating! read more

I use this pharmacy for most of my prescriptions. I have no issues with the staff or facilities. Yes, it can be busy but that's how it is with pharmacies. It isn't the pharmacy's fault that your doctor didn't send your prescription or your insurance won't allow an early refill. read more

From all of the complaints here it is clear CVS doesn't care but I'll add mine anyway. The lines are always long and I have problems standing and waiting due to a hip replacement. I talked to the manager and he said they are short staffed because of other pharmacies closing. So hire more people! How about the people who lost their jobs when other pharmacies closed? They are increasing their profits on the backs of low level employees and long lines for sick people. The empoyees don't even look up because of the lines. read more

Tony is awesome. He is the reason we go there. I called last week and asked a gentleman who, English is not his first language, to fill all of my eligible medications. I was out and did not have the script numbers with me. I got a text that meds are ready. I go in and only 2 are ready. He did not order them and had not even contacted the doctors office for refills on the 1 med that needed it. I had 7 medications that could have been filled. I call and ask, with the correct script numbers, to have the rest refilled. I told them that I would be in the next day. Today, I send in my son. He gets there at 5:30......and then sits for 45 minutes to have the last one refilled. I have never, in my 60 years, had to wait for 45 minutes for a refill. Again, but for Tony, I stay- for now. Amazon is looking better every day. CVS- do better. Hire people than can work this kind of thing out. read more

I get my prescriptions filled here since target closed their CVS. The line always takes at least 25 mins to get through, no matter how many people are In line something always happens that takes forever. I walked in, saw there was five people in line, walked right out. I couldn't afford to spend 30+ minutes in line today. AVOID AVOID AVOID at ALL costs. They cannot get their S together. I had surgery and my Doctor sent in a prescription. I went to pick it up - not ready (and mind you it was for pain!! They said 20 minutes well 1-1/2 hours later still not done. Okay I said I will be back in the morning. Came back next morning still not ready!! I called my Doctor asked for him to send to Kaiser Folsom. Found out he was out sick!! His associate would call it in. I get to Kaiser they never received it. I call back to clinic they said the Associate Dr went home for the day. So I decided id come back and try CVS again - this time they should have had it waiting since they had said that they would rush it. Now it's not in their system at all!! The pharmacist, Jeff was very helpful in setting up and explaining my new glucometer. I'm not good at reading directions, especially when the paper is the size of a New York City map. Just the size of the thing scares me off. Jeff walked me through it, and made a point of showing me what to wait for on the screen at certain points before continuing. I received the best customer service I've ever received from this pharmacy today. The professional who assisted me went out of her way to assist me, even though she didn't need to. Looking at the previous reviews, I have to conclude that they're speaking of the same clerk I typically encounter, who is snarky, low on patience, and clearly not happy in her role. She also is more concerned with processing an order quickly, than with preserving confidentiality. Please move along and find a job that's a good match for you. Don't understand the bad reviews here. I shop here a lot and the employees always greet you, help you find what you need, are smiling and pleasant. I tend to shop the sales, they sometimes have good deals and discount coupons. Make sure that you have the CVS card to get the best deals. Never fills on time-- even when you call in and they confirm it's getting filled. Multiple occasions I show up at said time and they state they don't have enough in to fill the rx completely. Act like it your problem they don't have enough with a "take it or leave it" attitude. Mind you my dog can't skip his medication dosage or he'll have a seizure. I've waited 30 minutes to an hour for them to count the pills that should've already been counted and bottled by the time I got here. This CVS has the best customer service in the front of the store with a great girl by the name of Christine. She is always very knowledgeable about the merchandise and it's location in the store. Terrible customer service at the pharmacy from someone named Liz who was very unhelpful and wasted a lot of my time. She was also unhelpful to another customer and I witnessed her raise her voice at him and talk over him and all he was doing was asking for a second prescription to be filled. The manager was nice but they seem short staffed. I never shop at CVS but I needed a sharps container for needles. Where would I go? The PARMACY of course, what response did I get to my question? I have been loyally picking up prescriptions from this pharmacy for years, and I have about had it with the pharmacy. This week alone, I was picking up prescriptions to have a supply as I go off to college, and it was the worst two visits I have ever had at this pharmacy. Not only were the pharmacists degrading, they were outright rude to a customer that was evidently frustrated given the lack of help on the pharmacist's part...me being the customer. I was told my lack of knowledge about insurance was causing me to hold up the line, yet they failed to realize I work only in insurance and knew exactly what I was referring to. They have failed to fax any prescription orders in a timely manner, and outright refused to help me further when I needed more assistance. Not really sure what the issue is with their bathroom not being available. This is the third month in a row that I have come to pick up my prescriptions here and they are "out of service". I am fucking pregnant and need to pee every 20min-1hour. I'll be getting my prescriptions somewhere else that can offer hygienic facilities to there customers. She is so bad for business and I dont understand why she still has a job. People arent usually feeling well when theybare filling a prescription but then to go have to deal with this lady OMG! The sign up process for a flu vax wasn't too bad except for the fact I signed up for 330 , they texted me my appt was at 1 pm then the following text said click here to confirm and that had my original appt time 330. I scheduled that last night and then got texts today that my appointment was cancelled? So something is wonky in the appt/text system that needs to be fixed. That said, the vaccine clerk Brian was super nice and said yes we can do it today so great. It went quickly and I hardly felt it. Of course in Pville there are customers not masked up in line at the pharmacy but that isn't Brian's fault, that is something management needs to work on. Having worked in retail I know no one wants to be the mask cop because people flip out. Still, with the covid numbers being what they are, I'd be a lot more likely to regularly shop there if people did mask up. They do have self check but it is immediately next to where everyone else checks out so it doesn't really avoid the unmasked. Other than that the store looks pretty good and there is sanitizer near the door. read more

I frequently pickup prescriptions for my parents and have to agree that the pharmacy at the Missouri Flat site is one of the poorest of all CVS stores I've been to. The layout is such that when you are at the counter for pick up the pharmacy staff can't even see you are there. I have to go over to the drop off section to be seen. Also they seem to be inconsistent with the parents prescriptions as to if they are automatically refilled or not. They will call my parents frequently to say that there is something for pickup yet when you go the one that is in need of a refill is not ready but there's a giant bottle of another that's not needed yet. I have not had rude service, just long waits and inconsistent refills. The store overall is pleasant to visit it is large and well stocked. The front check out staff are very nice and seem efficient. read more

Unfortunately, a medical concern requires I visit the pharmacy often. I don't know how the limited staff manages it; it is a very busy pharmacy, phone ringing, people lined up (and some of the people are really grouchy), through it all, the staff remains polite, well-trained and helpful. I just spent a good half hour selecting and printing photos, and turning down offers for $7.99 collages of my photos. I tried to print them in 5x7 photos, and the guy hands me a stack of 6x8 prints with white around the edges. He tells me that they only use one size photo paper, 6x8, so if I want 5x7 all I have to do is grab my scissors and go to town. No thanks. I didn't buy them, but I will also never get the time I didn't sitting there back. At no point did it warn me this would happen. I think they count on you feeling too invested to say no. Pro tip: Walgreen's right down the street can print in the proper size, and on nicer paper for less money too. I've had issues with this pharmacy as well, with MAJOR hippaa violations, but due to a pending investigation I won't go into detail on that. Just went in to pick up my prescription. Today is 30 days. My medicine supposed to last 30 days. Yet the pharmacist says he cannot fill till tomorrow. He was very confrontational. I was confused. The man did nothing to alleviate my confusion instead he basically berated me and told me about how many years of experience he had. He was a real asshole! So I just got back from picking up my prescription and for once, no wait so great! then I decided to pick up some candy. The tags said 3 for $3 so I picked up 2 in one aisle and 1 in another. Keep in mind that all tags said the same 3 for $3. When she rang me up, it was not on sale. She said I needed to pick up 3 from one aisle and 3 from the other aisle in order to get the 19 cents off each one. Are you kidding me??? Worst customer service experience ever! I left in tears. I was exhausted after staying up all night with my baby, spent most of the afternoon at the doctor, baby screaming and sick all day. We were there to pick up a prescription for her. The lady at the pharmacy was the rudest person I have ever come across. I was there with sick baby in arms...exhausted and drained and already in a vulnerable state. I cannot even explain how rude this lady was to me, and if I wasn't as exhausted I would have said something back to her but instead I couldn't help but to cry. I have been using CVS for my prescription needs for years, but this is a new one for me. My doctor faxed in a new prescription. Even though it was a "new" prescription, it had been filled at this CVS for years. Just new as far as paperwork was concerned. It was a compound prescription. I believe that means it needed to be mixed up. It was a mixture of antibiotics mixed in a cherry type syrup. I have been on this same medication for two years or so ALL filled at this particular CVS. I waited about a week, then called CVS to make sure the prescription was ready for pick up. I was told by the clerk that they needed clarification on the prescription from my doctor. I was told they had sent him a fax and were waiting for an answer from my doctor. I called my doctor and he had a fit. He has been my doctor for about 35 years and I have never heard him lose his cool. Well he lost it this time. He dropped the phone and I heard words I didn't know he even knew. After he picked the phone back up, he told me he had sent in paper after paper to get this prescription filled. The upshot was they then told me they did NOT compound prescriptions and had not compounded prescriptions for over two years. After all the paperwork, the filling of this prescription for years, the wasting of my doctor's time, they tell me they don't and haven't compounded prescriptions for years. I lost it at that point and have not been back. read more
