Pachamama Coffee - Blueberry muffin?

Pachamama Coffee

They serve organic coffee and I could really taste the difference. They currently have a seasonal menu and their regular menu included some unique options. The maple latte caught my eye; I ordered it with oat milk and it was one of the best coffee drinks I've ever had. Seriously! It wasn't overpoweringly sweet, but there was enough flavor so it actually tasted like a maple latte instead of a warm milk as many special drinks end up tasting from my experience. It's always disappointing to buy an expensive coffee that doesn't have enough flavor, but you'll get what you pay for here. They offer a few little snacks and there is tons of seating (indoor and outdoor!) with beautiful natural light, art and plants. The baristas were kind and helpful and made beautiful latte art. If you love it as much as I did, you can even buy coffee beans and merchandise as well. It's tucked away in downtown placerville and I would highly recommend Pachamama to everyone!

Pachamama Coffee! I luv saying the name. Better yet, that's some darn good coffee…read more The cafes are mainly in Sacramento and the foothills. This particular one is in Placerville, right on touristy Main Street. Well It's actually tucked in a shopping pedestrian alley right off Main Street. The coffee is delicious. I've had their various drip coffees before, all terrific tasting. My usual go to's are their lattes. This time I was in the mood for a seasonal winter drink, wintermint mocha. Yum! I ordered it with oat milk and they don't up charge. The mocha had a smooth, creamy chocolate espresso taste. I even got a pretty design of foamed milk on top of my drink. Aww it was cute. No up charge for that as well and I didn't even ask them to do it Outside the cafe is an outdoor courtyard with bistro tables for folks to sit n enjoy their coffee or whatever. I say whatever because the area is open for all to sit a spell. The courtyard is enclosed with brick buildings around its square perimeter. The buildings provide ample shade and cooling temps in the summer. Plus there is a water fountain that provides a calming zen like sound of trickling water. The cafe also has an indoor seating area. The interior furniture includes tables, sofas, lounge chairs, and high top tables aesthetically giving off modern, minimalist Scandinavian design vibes. Luvin this look.

Camino Coffee Mill - Baked offerings!

The drinks are consistently delicious, and the whole place has that relaxed, local charm that makes you want to linger a bit longer. A welcome break from the usual chain spots. After a long day hanging out in Apple Hill I wanted some coffee for my trip back home to Vallejo and I didn't want coffee from a franchised spot (I prefer to support local cafes whenever possible, I really enjoy spots with more of a personal community vibe) so I was lucky to come across Camino Coffee Mill. The Camino Coffee Mill is modern in style but it's not pretentious and feels like you're getting coffee while on vacation (you'll get what I'm mean once you go and see for yourself.) The barista was very friendly and patient (it always takes me a bit longer when visiting a place the first time.) While waiting for my order I saw how they made their mocha and I'd wished one (it's usually one of my go toes but I went with something different) she must have noticed the look on my face because she offered to convert my latte into a mocha just so I could have the drink I really wanted (such a kind gesture!) She also shared with me some backstory on history of the cafe and how the cafe is owned by a local couple (who bought it right before getting married) and who also owns the pizza spot right next door (which I'll be trying on my next visit!) I'm so glad I took a chance on this spot and can't wait to try another drink from their menu (maybe a chai!) If you're in the Apple Hill area and want some great coffee to start and or end your day this is the place so bring a good book and or friend to catch up with! J

My daughter being a picky eater chose to get an egg, potato, and bacon burrito. I had the foxwood burrito and an americano. The service was great and the food came out fast. To my surprise my daughter really enjoyed her burrito. She is a tough one to please! The foxwood burrito was tasty. There was a nice sauce and everything was cooked well. My only complaint, keeping this from a five stat review would be the potatoes on the burrito. They had a bit of a freezer burn taste. It wasn't horrible but I noticed it. All in all this was a great little coffee shop that will please even the pickiest of eaters!

We decided to give it a try one morning and the menu is very diverse. Almost too diverse, as in there's too many different types of drinks and it makes the menu feel all over the place. This does make sense as it seems to work well with who stops by. As for the workers they all seem pretty young, but as it was my first time, the service seems little all over the place - again seems to work with the vibe of the place. The coffee we got was very good and very surprised they don't have more honey options as a sweetener. We come over a little too often, so we will see how this review gets updated
