Worst pharmacy experience ever. The doctor has been calling 14 days prescriptions and they have been filling them for 1 week only and charging me more. Because the 2 weeks supply is cheaper but obviously that's where the $ is made. When I questioned them on this, they told me that I did not specify I wanted 1 week. How can they they just change the prescription dosage and blame the patient? Associates are unkind, always in a rush and not efficient at all. This is usually an average pharmacy, pretty standard. When things go right, they are great, friendly and easy to deal with. However, often times I've had to argue about scripts that were delayed. They had filled the wrong script and caused me hours of phone calls and undue stress with doctors and insurance companies. Then it turned out they had been filling an old script and ignored the current one. Luckily, my persistence got them to find it in their system. My main problem with this pharmacy is one particular staff member. She is so nasty that my daughter even asked me why she was such an evil Karen. I know this person doesn't have to be this way. I actually saw a human side of her once and had a very pleasant conversation. It was so rare, that it stood out and I came home and told my husband about it. I had hope that I had finally broken through and she would be nice going forward but last time I was there she treated me like I was being booked for a crime in jail. I understand this is a thankless job at times. Probably similar to the first job I had at a cleaners. Never ending demand, dealing with insurance companies, grumpy people, etc. but she makes going there a dreadful experience. If you go here, be ready to be treated badly if you encounter CVS Karen. First of all, the layout of checkout and store entrance is trashy. It's crouded, divided full of so called impulse buying products. Personally, I'm too busy trying to find a way to check out. Who came up with that? It's very uninviting making you want to turn around and leave. Why is the pharmacy - which is what CVS is supposed to be - now opened only a few hours in the morning? This is not customer convenient! CVS is now a national joke on SNL. They spend more money on a mile long sales receipt with coupons that don't bring the prices down to even average prices elsewhere. Long ago, store managers had the discretion to allow all coupons to not have an expiration date. You could actually use them! Back then, the manager was visible, friendly, getting to know you, making you want to come back. Rather than do all the costly inventory, packing, and sending back to the warehouse, they'd put all clearance at advanced discount prices to really clear them out to give customers a 90% discount, actually saving CVS money. If receipts weren't a waste, they've now made customer's site full of wasteful ads just to check on prescriptions status. It's longer than the paper receipts. As of today, the site still isn't working to check on prescription status, etc. But you can spend an hour shopping online instead. I guess CVS is all about the bottom dollar trying to target those that are willing to pay inflated prices. This store is under new management and it shows-in a drastically sad way. I ordered Christmas cards through their online system and when I went to go pick them up, there were no envelopes with them. I asked the cashier if I get envelopes and she said "Nope we don't have any". I told her that I used to work for the company and I know the cards come with envelopes and kindly requested she give me them. She refused. I had to ask for the supervisor, who agreed with me that you do get envelopes. She had to search the store for a while to find them, and ended up fixing the issue. The front store cashier (I believe her name was Kilee based off of my receipt) needs serious training and needs to stop being so disrespectful to customers. Absolute worst experience of my life. Called the pharmacy 4 times, over an hour and a half (yes, really); about 18 different prompts (asking if I want the pharmacy 3 times), to sit on hold for 20 mins, have the pharmacy answer and then hang up. Four times in a row! I called the front desk and explained, asking if they could walk back there, they couldn't have cared less, transferred me to someone else at the front who hung up on me. They run out of my medication all the time and can never give me an update when my medication will be back in stock. This location used to be so good when there was a male manager that I changed from Costco. He left few years ago and It is now SO BAD. It takes them soooo long to answer the phone. One time I was holding so long, i kept holding and drove 7min to their drive through and watch them all talking to each other as I waited in line and on the phone. If you have more than 1 prescription they text and when u get there only 1 Is ready or insurance issue or need to ask Dr questions... I understand stand that happens but the problem is there is no follow through. If I don't call back to check it will never get filled. Last Tuesday, after couple of days waiting, I had it call them and call the drs office to make sure the additional approval got submitted. Today is Thursday... that was 9 days ago. I dread calling them as I have to hold forever...I called this morning and (only had to hold for 5 min on the phone) and she processes it and she said it went through but don't have enough in inventory to fill it so I have to wait till tomorrow afternoon. When I asked when the approval came through? She said she doesn't know... so if I had not called it never would have been filled? This kind of stuff, holding forever just lack of normal common customers service... Im going to change Pharmacy. I would say they would be upset to lose clients but in this location I'm thinking they will be happy to have less clients for less work. Just called to ask the difference in two birth control medications and how they compare for effectiveness and if I can begin taking the new one and keep the same effectiveness of birth control. The pharmacist stated she couldn't tell me because she's "never heard of the prescription that I was prescribed". Wow! Just moved to the neighborhood and haven't always been a huge CVS fan, but it's closer to me than Walgreens, so I thought I'd give it a chance. Spent just about $100 today on random items for the new pad. I realized when I got home that one of my purchased items wasn't in the box and also that their "pool noodles" were $7.99 each when you can get them for $1-$2 practically anywhere else. I came back to get the missing item that was missing out of the box as well as return the WAY over priced "pool noodles". Of course I didn't have my 3 foot receipt because I gave it to the cashier earlier after he got my email address and said that they could now email me my "rewards". When I came back, the self proclaimed store manager proceeded to scan the three items and said that they weren't purchased today because they weren't in his system. I asked him if he could look up the transaction on the computer via my phone number, my Discover card etc. He said no. I asked him if he could look under the security camera and of course he said yes, but he didn't want to. It became the principle now because he basically called me a liar. I told him I wanted a refund now and NOT a store credit because I literally had just purchased them a few hours ago. After asking about the security camera footage, he then said I could get a full refund on my card and the item. Instead of swallowing his pride and just admitting to a "faulty" system which clearly they have because I JUST purchased the items a few hours before and proved to him on my Discover Card App, yet he said I did NOT purchase them today, it caused a scene and wait for his other customers. I then proceeded to tell him that I'd be going to Walgreens and he said he'd give me directions. Lol. Swallow your pride buddy. The customer is NOT always right, but he was today and he proved it in more ways than one, but you'd rather treat me like a thief first and then like a true customer once I proved to you that I REALLY had been here and purchased these items. I was dealing with a sick child that was in the urgent care at Phoenix children waiting for me to come back with medicine not only was he dealing with the flu, but also anaphylactic shock Vivian as a pharmacist. You are sometimes dealing with people who are stressed because you deal with people that are potentially sick or people who have sick children or sick parents. if you can't grasp that concept, perhaps you should try applying at the motor vehicle department. pharmacist are supposed to be helpful and kind. You could probably see that I was stressed because I was trying to get this medicine for my son however, the only thing you were concerned about was whether or not I was going to get the corrected prescription from the doctor by 10 o'clock. Your comment "I have to be out of here by 10" and the way that you said it was incredibly rude. I'm going to make sure I reach out to CVS directly as well. Had a RX sent here for my step son. Got a text message to use their portal to send in insurance information - so I sent the info in. Went to pick up the RX and they tried to charge the full price. I asked about Insurance and they said they did not take the plan and that I needed to transfer to Walgreens, so I did. Went to Walgreens to pickup the next day and they said that they did not take The insurance and so I called the insurance company and they told me the closest pharmacy was this CVS. So I drove back and went Inside the pharmacy and they had the wrong insurance entered. So I gave them the correct info again. They apologized but said they would have to transfer it back but they would have it done between 3-4 that day. I went back after 4, and they gave us the same story (insurance didn't work etc). On a whim, I called the store while I was sitting out in the parking lot, to see if someone could come and get the empty tank, switch out for a new one and take my credit card in to complete the transaction. I called it to 2:11 PM and was told it would be an hour until my prescription was ready which was completely fine. It's not a controlled medication so it's a very simple fill as my wife is a pharmacy technician herself. I show up two hours and 10 minutes later and the pharmacist informs me that it'll be another 20 minutes. That's unacceptable within itself she says it's because she was doing vaccines.... well technicians are the one filling the scripts and the pharmasist verifies it so the script should have already been filled and just needs a verification it's not hard and pharmacist are the only ones that can give vaccines! I come back 35 minutes later and they fill the script right in front of me.... mind you by filling I mean grabbing the birth control pack and putting it in the bag and I get a text saying it's ready! Completely unacceptable! It wasn't a new script it's been ran through the same insurance a thousand times she was just lazy and or forgetful! I have been going to this CVS all year long (2021) and have had to give them my insurance card at least 1/2 dozen times to re0key the information in to their system. EVERY SINGLE TIME I GO, TODAY BEING THE LAST TIME (12/27/2021) THEY STILL CANT SEEM TO FIND ME AND/OR MY INSURANCE IN THE SYSTEM. This only started happening on or around June 2021 this year. Something is terribly wrong with a) the staff who say they are entering the data to their online system, or b) my insurance company which has been covering me all year. I truly do not believe it's the insurance company (Oscar). I have spoken my insurance company about this several times, and they say it's common for CVS to loos e this information on a regular basis. Went to this CVS location tonight about 15 mins before for close for only a quick item to grab. As soon as we walked in the employee working: Rob let us know they close in 15 mins, we said okay. Kid you not over the intercom there was 4 different reminders they close soon. As my friend and I are walking to the front to check out, Rob loudly announced over one of the aisles to us "we close soon you need to wrap it up" It was very unwelcoming and uncalled for. Terrible experience filling a prescription today. Because of my underlining medical conditions, I am prevented from going into the store. I was forced to use the drive-thru, which only had the outside lane open for submitting and picking up prescriptions. The inside lane was for covid-19 testing only. The outside lane uses a tube in a vacuum to submit the prescription. I found it very difficult to use because of my physical limitations. I called the pharmacy and asked if I could please use the inside lane to pick up the prescription, and they said no. So, I had to use the dreadful outside lane. Again, I found it very difficult to retrieve the tube, insert my credit card, and then reach in again to retrieve my prescription. I actually hurt my hand during the process. I understand the vital importance of covid-19 testing. I also understand that a senior citizen with underlying health issues should be allowed to use the pickup window in order to get a prescription filled. read more

This is the largest and best CVS I have ever been to. I was excited to see that they now carry Bliss products. Bonus, it's less expensive than where I usually buy it. The very stylish, outgoing and extremely knowledgeable salesclerk Kristy helped me pack my cart with some really fun things for Easter, beauty products, stuff for my bar and things to take to a friend at the hospital. I really appreciated the customer service! For most people, I think it would feel like just a random "going above and beyond" experience. With her, it felt like she treats everyone like their VIP and that's her natural personality. I'm now a customer for life. read more

Over worked and grumpy! I have to assume the reason the women who work at this location are so grumpy is because they are over worked. After surgery I needed a refill of my prescription but I guess it was too soon. I was in pretty serious pain and I know they just follow the laws but there was zero compassion and you could get the sense that its just a job to them and they do not care as much as you'd hope they would. The only time they seem happy to help is when they are out of product and they don't have to fill it. It's convenient but staff certainly hate their job read more

Love this pharmacy and their staff. I've tried Walgreens, Costco....didn't like the service or the wait times. I've been with this pharmacy for about 8 years. I recently moved quite a distance from them but still make the drive because of their efficiency, great customer service, and a knowledgeable pharmacist (he's really good!) I tried moving to the CVS near my new home and it just wasn't the same. I'm really impressed with how they will take the time to call and recall your doctor to refill a script.
