I'm glad we have a drug store downtown. It is convenient for prescriptions, greeting cards and other general items. This location seems to attract a lot of people who obviously steal, so if you are browsing the cosmetic or alcohol section, security watches you like a hawk. I'm sure I don't need to elaborate on how annoying this can be. I love that they sell beer - a definite bonus for the offices and hotels in the area! TIP - Be sure to sign up for the CVS card and provide a valid email address. You never even have to carry the card because they can access your account using your phone number. I get amazing deals (25% off, extra bucks, etc..) emailed to me all the time! read more

This is handy to have so close to my office. I like the wide variety of drinks and snacks. Also, they have a good selection of personal hygiene items for emergencies. Another funny thing to see is the ASU Students stocking up on beer and chips at 10 AM on a weekday morning. read more

pretty good cvs, allot of stuff to buy and normally always in stock of what I need. Would be 5 stars if the receipts where not so dam long.

Being a downtown dweller I am so excited with the opening of this CVS in CityScape! They have a Pharmacy and a liquor department. They also offer basic (conventional, non-produce) grocery items (including milk and eggs). The rest of CityScape is still under construction but I am soo excited to have a CVS so close to work and home. (Next closest options CVS on McDowell & Central, Walgreens on 7th St and Mc Dowell). Now when I get a raging headache at work, I have the option of walking across the street for Excedrine or a 5th of Vodka! read more

Extremely incompetent, I have been trying to get my prescription refilled and have gone to 4 different locations and no one has been able to help. Worst of all they told me that they could refill it and then when I went to pick it up they told me that they had sold the last of my medication to another patient. read more

for convenience its a plus for store organization and appearance - 1 star. Store is a dump compared to other CVS but has such a convenient location. read more

I'm purely a fan because it's literally like 3-4 blocks from my work location, so I can pick up quick stuff during my lunch break. Last time I was here, the cashier helped me a lot w/the self-service machine when he really didn't have to. He even scrapped old gum (embarassing!) from my CVS Rewards card on my keychain so it worked! Only complaint? It's carpeted and sorta smells like wet dog. read more

Great location but horrible service. Had to weight over 30 hours for my simple prescription to be filled when I was originally told way shorter of a time. read more

Clean, friendly service, good selections and plus they serve alcohol! Great location to everything! read more

CVS Pharmacy - The entrance - Drugstores Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

If I could leave a zero for our experience with the pharmacy itself I certainly would. We had a prescription called in 2/13 and got to the pharmacy at 10am 2/14. The tech said they didn't have it. We had it sent in again and got there to pick it up at 245 on 2/14 (15 minutes prior to close). They notified us they were filling it now. In the 17 minutes between 245 and 302 they closed (@ 3) and told us there was nothing they could do now because they were closed and couldn't access the registers. Absolutely the worst experience ever and the attitude of the tech and pharmacist was absolute helplessness. We went across the street to Frys and are getting g the prescription filled as we speak. read more

Incredibly brusque and rude service and a low selection. Team members are lazy and unresponsive, and the manager was simply checking his phone in the corner not caring about the holdups for just a small number of customers or the listlessness of the other employees. The rudeness here I hope is not an indication of the downtown Phoenix area or CVS in general, as I've seen it fine in other states, but the DTPHX location seemed to actively make and effort to create a difficult environment for customers. Update: this article detailing rude treatment at another CVS in Arizona makes total sense in this context--it's definitely a trend http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/398060-transgender-woman-cvs-pharmacist-refused-to-fill-my-hormone read more

I've been going to this location for a year now, since my work location moved to downtown. I have never had a bad experience with this store. The staff members that I have encountered have been very friendly and helpful. I've never had to wait in a line to check out. I don't know about the bathrooms, but I would say if you don't like them and you work across the street, then use the bathrooms at your work and quit complaining. A couple of reviews on here sound as if the reviewer was having a bad day and was just looking for something to blame it on. Just sayin'. read more

Closest CVS to Phoenix's convention center and its downtown hotels. Pharmacist was friendly and store manager helped me find some last minute things. read more

I went here because it is close to where I work and within walking distance. I wasn't sure what I wanted to eat or snack on so I decided to explore this place. I was amazed at the big selection of snacks and food items to take back to work or school or wherever you are heading. The weird thing was that when I walked in there was a group of employees just standing by the entrance talking about personal things. I am firm believe that when you are at work, especially when you work in retail or in front of customers, that you keep it professional and you do not huddle together for a pow wow during work hours. I thought it was weird and to add on top of that they never moved so when I left they were still there. To add to it they were talking and just staring at customers and never said hello to one customer. I would go here again because it is the only convenience/pharmacy downtown from where I work but I just think the employees need a little bit more training on customer service. read more

Love the CVS Pharmacy. Everyone has been so nice and they have great selections of food and drinks.

My only beef with CVS is that they are so much more expensive than the other convenience drugstores. I love this location just adjacent from the courthouse. Watch those huge stairs, I am not sure if there is a handicap ramp entrance but at least the entrance right off of Jefferson is accessible by stairs. Yes, they stock booze to help you get through your work day. read more

awesome addition to the downtown area... well needed convenience!!! its CVS so not to much to say about it that you already don't know. If your a CVS slut like me then you are prob just as happy with their newest location.. side note: I effin LOVE their dollar area they have, im a sucker for shit that costs a buck, what can i say !? read more

The best part of visiting this CVS is the potential for people-watching greatness. There are usually a handful of sketchy characters (it is downtown Phoenix after all) and an equal amount of undercover cops. Generally, people are trying to steal and the cops confront them or chase them. Either way- good for a laugh. The pharmacy is fast and friendly, as is the greeter who is at the back entrance most work days and business hours. Enjoy! read more

I love this store because of how convenient it is but Joyce is the reason for the 2 stars. She is absolutely horrible, has poor customer service, and works slower than my grandma! There is always a long line if she is at the register, and that doesn't speed her up one bit. This morning was the last straw with her, an item was labeled buy one get one free and she rung it up and it was buy one get one 50% off so I told her about it and she was rude, rolled her eyes, and cut me off while I was talking. Get rid of her and this place deserves 5 stars! read more

Let me start with the good... I love this new location and how convenient it is to downtown. I also totally love the fact that this location serves alcohol - I hate stopping all over town if I don't have to. The little dollar section was a nice plus because I've always felt like some things in CVS were a little overpriced so it's nice to see CVS keeping up with competitors offering a cheaper substitute for some things. As far as the bad, all I could really say bad is that sometimes it seems to take longer than expected to checkout. That may be the times I shop or I just get unlucky when I do, but it always seems there is just one cashier on with a line of 4 or more people. Overall I love this location, I would also just love to see it have a faster checkout. :) read more

I really love this store! Michelle is so professional and has the best customer service!

It's a cvs what more can you expect. This is a very large one though and the wait at the cash registers is never that bad. I docked them a star for the parking problem, I know it's not their fault but it's still a problem. read more

Great pharm , super quick less than stated I love cvs these guys have all the generics also

Keep this a secret...but as a Walgreens Nazi, this store is pretty nice and organized!

Nice to have a quality pharmacy so close to downtown. A much needed addition.

Pretty decent CVS. Went there twice during my stay in Phoenix. Lots of variety and selections for a CVS.

This place is filthy and dingy; but it had everything I needed! My candy bar felt old. I'll let you know how it was when I open it I guess. But overall this place needs a power wash especially the refrigerator for the drinks. read more

Clean, newer CVS with nice employees. Large selection of everything, including liquor. Woo hoo!
