When I lived in Skokie I used to come to this location all the time...I was so happy when they built it! This location is well organized and clean but the staff is very hit or miss. Some people are very friendly while others are a bit rude. I went this past week and got one of the good ones! Yay me! The parking situation here has always annoyed me for some reason because you can't park directly in front of the store. Normally when I go to a CVS typically they'll ask "would you like to get a CVS card" I typically would say no because I just want to pay for my stuff and leave, but a nice gentleman explained to me that I could be saving money if I got one. I was skeptical at first thinking I would have to pay for some monthly fee or something but I was totally wrong. After being informed of this I ended up getting one and it was a pretty quick process just asking some standard questions about like what's my email, phone number, etc. Over all very nice experience. read more

Hoped to stop in for some soap and snacks recently, but this location is now PERMANENTLY CLOSED. The area and south side stretch of Dempster now looks very desolate with empty parking lots, now-empty CVS building plus very few go-to and reliable store or business stops nearby. CVS on Dempster near Potter or nearby Walgreens stores and other quick and convenient places can be found in more lively areas to the east and west. read more

Absolutely horrible pharmacy, customer service and slow services here. Only positive note is they have a drive through. Even the pharmacist and the technicians look like they don't want to be there. I have always been a loyal CVS patron so when I moved to Morton Grove, i gravitated to this location. I'll be making a further drive to the cvs pharmacy at Target than to come back to this location. read more

I can't believe any of the tech's at this pharmacy have a degree or any training whatsoever. Each one seems rushed (Yes - i bet this is due to corporate) doing their job half a$$ed. I call to see if my prescriptions are ready they said "yes they are all ready", how many I ask "just one". How is just one the equivalent of ALL of them ready. There should have been 3 ready. "Oh" and they hung up. When at the counter I ask them to run through insurance and tell me price and when I pickup, its $30-50 more. Its not due to my insurance, its due to whom they select as manufacturer of the pills. This is total BS. Rude technicians that always mess up, remove refills from acct, cause an insurance mess. Hate this place with a passion. I miss Walgreens, but am forced by insurance to come here. AVOID THIS PLACE read more

Always appreciate their deals, went in for the BOGO Lysol products but they were out of one of the products I needed. The manager kindly let me swap it out for another product which I was so grateful for. Took my coupons and I also got the 40% off one regular item thanks to their email program. I have been with this location of pharmacy for a long long time since it was Jewel /Osco. Its service has been improved a lot. All the pharmacists are very professional and nice. The Techs they come and go and quality of their service are up and down. But lately they have a very nice and professional tech , Miss Christine. She is very efficient , polite and treat customers with respect and has smiling face all the time. I don't want to pick up the medications because of covid19 shelter-in. I purchased an item that came with 6.oo coupon and I wanted to exchange the item for a different color and the manager said I have to refund it so I said if a repurchase it do I get the coupon, she said no. So she was giving me a refund and the store I originally purchased it at had higher taxes and she was going to give me back less then I paid. I didn't get my coupon, wasn't able to just exchange my item and then she wanted to refund me less then I paid. This is why I shop at Walgreens read more

Very clean store , However , rude , inconsiderate customers. While standing in a line with 2 in front of me, a CVS clerk called and asked for Dominic to open. He took the next in line and then the next. When from behind a man stepped in front of another man and myself. When i said excuse me, Dominic just started checking him out. Ever fell like noone knows you are there. After saying something else, Like really there is a line and you can't even say anything. This is the worst CVS around! Unfortunately my insurance forced me to switch from Walgreens. The drive thru pharmacy is terrible. You pull up to the window, the pharm tech looks at you and do absolutely NOTHING. The speaker on the window doesn't work any they have done nothing to repair it! Plus if my Rx has no more refills left why don't you notify me of it instead of having me wait DAYS without notification! read more
