This store sold me a previously USED Vicks sinus inhaler. The inhaler has a film residue at the bottom and dark human (presumably) hairs on it. I should have expected that this store would be disgusting because there is trash scattered all over their fence and is pilling up in their bushes. Management at this store clearly doesn't care at all to the point of hygienic negligence. read more

if I could put a zero star I would. I just went there and bought snacks with me and my friend. I go to checkout and kindly ask if I can have my items double bagged as they are heavy. the girl worker dawn or something says no and proceeds to handle my items like complete trash. while I'm waiting for my friend to check out she runs over to me and checks my bag acting like I stole something. I told her I didn't steal anything and she proceeded to call me an immigrant and a smart ass and kicked me out of the store. really pissed or and disappointed in our world today. read more

I had an appointment with the Advocate clinic (who was courteous and professional). Decided to have my prescription processed at this pharmacy, and after the nurse helped me get som OTC, advised me to go to the counter to check in. I'm waiting patiently, and the young female with the dark hair in a bun snaps "What do you need?" I responded "I'm just checking in (as the nurse suggested I do), and she snaps (without even looking at me) "We'll call you when it's ready". Incredibly unprofessional and rude. Given all the one star reviews here, I'm not surprised. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your pharmacy needs. The pharmacy staff need some training in communication. read more

I go to this Walgreens here and there for little things, and everything has always been fine no issues. I went in today to try and get my old family video that's on VHS converted to a DVD for myself and my mom. I went to the photo counter and stood there for a good 10 minutes before the employee turned around, which ok fine he was busy editing a picture, so not a big deal. He came up and I said I wanted to convert my vhs to DVD's. He said he wasn't sure if they did that, so he went and asked the manager. The manager, Rommel came over and at first didn't even know what I was talking about, and then he went to the touch screen and we proceeded to start my order. The total came out to 36.00 and I entered my name email address and phone number. I finished and was waiting for a receipt, as he took my video he was looking for the box they use to ship it (Walgreens doesn't even do the transfer, they send it elsewhere and said it could take up to 3 weeks to process). And he couldn't find it so he pulled his cashier to look for it. Manager goes away and the cashier find the box, puts it down, and walks away. Rommel came back over and said "I thought he was going to take care of you, he's the photo guy." And now I'm annoyed because I'm standing around waiting for my receipt and to make sure they put it in the box and it doesn't seem like anyone had any idea on how to provide this specific service. Then Rommel (the manager) gets on his phone and calls someone else who worked there idk if it was the boss or another co worker, but he had to ask her how to give me a receipt. At this point I'm over it. I told him to give me the tape back and that this was ridiculous. Thankfully they didn't ask me to pre-pay before I submitted the order so I didn't waste my money here. This is the best pharmacy within miles. Every employee is nice, respectful, pleasant, accomodating, and works hard and fast. I go out of my way to use this Walgreens even though I have much closer options, I would suggest you do too. read more

This is a review for their urgent care. I went to see them in the fall with urinary tract symptoms. I was given a course of medication, but I knew my symptoms weren't getting better. One of the nurse practitioners seemed concerned and offered to change my medication, but once the culture came back the nurse practitioner who saw me refused to change my medication. Turns out, the UTI formed a kidney stone. Oh, they also don't prescribe yeast infection medication. An awful practice for a very routine diagnosis. read more

I won't go back to this clinic again nor would I recommend the young lady doctor. Just didn't provide good diagnosis and didn't bother to do blood test for patient before ruling out the need or no need for antibiotics. Then she just prescribed you expensive inhaler. That's the reason I won't go back. Please make the world a better place to be a good doctor when someone actually needs you. You didn't do a good job doc. Sad. read more

I just looked up the Morton Grove location info online to get the phone number to call, the service was excellent & they were quick to honor an online coupon (digital pics) in store for 10 rolls of 35mm film I just found hiding in a closet. I did not even know if they would still develop 35mm. They said it would take about a week, not the hour service and to be honest, since the film has been waiting for me to find it for about 10 years or so, I am not in a hurry. In this digital world, a week is just fine. Thank you for being courteous enough to honor the coupon! Service with a smile... I can't ask for more. read more

The take care clinic gave my daughter expensive medicine for her ear that was clogged. The drops couldn't get into her ear because the ear canal was infected. We landed up going to the emergency room the next day. Follow up with an ENT said she should never prescribed the drops. Tried to follow up with by calling the phone number given to me to file a complaint. Forwarded to district manager and then regional manager and no one calls back. Been waiting to speak to someone since February 15th. Horrible customer service. read more

The pharmacy service here is amazing! Not only are the pharmacists knowledgeable, they are extremely caring and even call you by name when you regularly fill your scripts here. They go the extra mile to resolve any difficulties that might arise with your insurance company or your physician. I recently moved here from the east coast where I dealt with a community pharmacy (not a chain) so had become accustomed to friendly, personalized service. In moving to this area and dealing with a chain pharmacy I was anticipating impersonal attention, long lines and wait times as had been my experience at the Walgreens back east. I was happily surprised to find this Walgreens Pharmacy equal to my community pharmacy in New Jersey. I highly recommend this Walgreens. You will not be disappointed! read more

Store #: 4503 - On 8/18/14 I walked in just as the store opened for the day at 8am to have my ears checked for an infection (they had been draining fluid for a day or so). The clinic area was dark, no one was there. I started signing in on their computer & about 5 minutes later a PA walked in (rushing as she was clearly late for work). With her jacket still on & her purse still on her arm, she told me that she wouldn't be able to see me today because she had appointments lined up - the first one scheduled for 8:30am. I looked around & reminded her that I was the only one there & she still refused. I had been to this clinic a few times prior & never had an issue. This woman absolutely refused to see me. Again, I was the only one there. When I asked her about her not showing up on time, she grew angry & confronted me with 2 more excuses as to why she wouldn't see me. From "it takes about half an hour for me to set up" to "I can't treat anyone with draining ears". If it takes a half an hour for her to set up, shouldn't she be there to do so at 7:30 if the clinic opens for business at 8??? Instead of treating my ear infection, she argued with me for 15 minutes & ultimately suggested I go to another clinic because she was booked for the morning (which I did, that clinic looked at my ear & prescribed my meds all within 15 minutes). This woman was ignorant & rude!! I told her that this is a WALK IN CLINIC, she said that Walgreens is steering away from treating walk-ins & leaning more toward taking appointments (another BS excuse???). read more

I'll had a prescription dropped off my my Dr & 30 min later I called to see if it was ready. First call - waited 10 min & was hung up on. 2Nd call - waited & was told there was 1 call ahead of me then eventually it said just pls hold. After 35 min I tried again - same situation. I actually drive to the pharmacy & sat in the drive through for the duration of the call. I buzzed for service & they said just a minute. 15 minutes later I was still on hold & they said we'll be right there there's only one of us. I drove around & went in & there were 3 ppl in the pharmacy. They couldn't fill my prescription but that's not the issue. The issue is I was doubled over in pain & in my pjs & didn't want to deal with their crap. Jason the shift leader was very nice & apologetic. But the rest of them were rude, didn't answer the phone, & left me at the drive drive thru indefinitely. Terrible service. Horrible. read more

Came in to the Take Care Clinic. The woman was sitting at her desk with seemingly nothing to do, but she still managed to treat me like I was bothering her. I was told that they didn't take my insurance, which was bs because my husband came in to a different Walgreens a few months ago and had zero problem (we have the same insurance). No matter, I said, I really just needed a strep test and I'd be willing to pay out of pocket to get it taken care of. Filled out all the information, waited my turn (did I mention I was the only person there?), and when I was finally called I was told that they didn't treat women who were pregnant. I mean, fair enough, I suppose. But I was pregnant when I arrived, and it would have saved me quite a bit of time knowing that from the get-go. The bad review is really just about the bad customer service here. Grumpy people, not helpful, and considering that they are dealing with sick patients, they should do better. read more

Purchased some good and plentys. Went home and tried to eat them. They were stale. I checked the date and they were several months past experation. I returned them to the store . Manager Edd took me to the display to see if they had others with same experation date. They did. He did not apologize. It was as if he did not trust I had bought them from that store even though I had a receipt. He also did not offer to replace them. If this was the only problem with this management I would not bother to write this review. I moved in from our of state and had prescriptions transferred. I had a coupon to get a gift card with transfer. The pharmacy could not get this to work so they called the manager. Mr Edd came and could not get it to work so suggested they call another manager. When they couldn't get that person he found a gift card to give me and acted as if he was doing me a favor. I had been waiting 25 minutes to get a $25.00 gift card. Contrary to the previous posts, I actually had a great experience with the clinic. I needed a physical for my job, and they scheduled me at the soonest time available and actually took me in to get it done early, since I had shown up for the physical early. This one star is for the pitiful service at the pharmacy. Once, they actually took my prescription slip and told me it would be done in about an hour. I came back in an hour to find out they were unable to fill it because they were one pill short...which would have been useful information before they took the script. On a second similar occasion, they took my script and waited until I came back to pick it up to tell me that there was an insurance issue and it could not be filled. Again, would have been nice to know in the beginning when I dropped it off. Since most people want their prescriptions completed quickly and without hassle, I would suggest that you all either go to the Walgreens on Lake and Waukegan to fill your prescriptions or go to CVS Pharmacy on Dempster in Morton Grove. Both places have been extremely fast and very helpful when I need additional information. At CVS, they have actually contacted my insurance company for me to have a few questions answered. Just avoid this Walgreens. The time and inconsistent service is enough to ruin anyone's day...and leave you without your medication. read more

absolutely terrible. i didn't get a chance to get his name, so i'm just going to describe him. he was a seemingly middle aged asian man (now it is common sense to know race obviously has nothing to do with this, just providing a description of how he looks so people are aware of who i'm talking about) I was asking this employee simple questions about the return policy for a toy that my nephew wanted to get. He seemed super turned off and replied sarcastically and unprofessionally. i've worked in retail for 2+ years, i know that customers can ask some annoying questions, i've dealt with entitled customers before, but i have never been intentionally rude to one like this guy was. i was trying my best to be polite to him but that's also HIS job to do to a customer. whatever he was going through that day, he projected all of his frustration through his attitude and behavior while responding to a simple question. he even sounded annoyed by my 6 year old nephew who asked him the price of the toy. just disgusting, never coming here again until they do something about his attitude or fire him read more

Went to the Health Care Clinic at 10am on 12/26/2014, to get checked out for a sinus infection or something. Spent 10 mins filling out my information on one of their kiosks. No one was there only 2 doors and a phone. Sat around for 20 mins with a few other people. Noticed that they had a display with the patient who is currently being seen and who is scheduled next etc... I was about 5th on the list. Figuring I have about 1/2 hour or so I go outside for 10 mins and come back. The display is blank. Nobody to talk to so I sit around for another 40 mins. The people that were in front of me are still there....no worries. Nurse Practitioner comes out, I ask her if I'm still on the list. She says no. I tell her that I was a walk-in and that my name was on the display. She tells me the "network" went down and that she came out and took attendance and that I was not "present" and she scheduled everyone for the next several hours by paper and that they were no longer taking walk-ins. I said so you "deleted me" and she says no. I say that I followed the process; registered at the kiosk etc.... and that she now changed the process. She says I can come back at 6:30pm and she can pencil me in. I say look lady, I just need some antibiotics. She says for what I explain for a cough. She says we don't give out antibiotics for coughs.
