I was very put off by this store. I was purchasing a Dyson hair dryer and they keep these in the back- which is understandable given the high price. The employee acted super annoyed to have to retrieve one for me and brought back a box with a bent edge and makeup stains on it. He practically ran it to the front of the store and dropped it behind the cashier without saying a word so I had no real choice but to stand in line and then explain, once it was my turn, that it was my dryer. The cashier was sweet as can be but I suspect she was new as she needed manager overrides multiple times. This led to the checkout process taking a very long time which didn't bother me but again, for such a luxury item, the service all left much to be desired. I will most definitely shop at other Ulta stores again but not this one. They didn't deserve the sale on the Dyson. read more

This store gets two stars - but only for the salon manager's and assistant's attempt to keep me informed about the wait (thank you for the water, by the way)... but waiting an hour and 20 minutes for a stylist who is 'just finishing up' with a client is straight up nonsense. When I left I told the cashier in front WHY I was leaving and that I will NEVER be coming back. I found a NEW salon, closer to home, significantly more expensive than Ulta... but I got a great cut and the stylist was honest with me about how long I would have to wait. You see, I don't mind dropping serious money for GOOD service and excellent results. read more

I LOVE this store. I don't understand how their reviews are so bad. The ladies that work here are amazing. They are so knowledgeable and helpful. I always come in looking for a refill on one specific item and I always walk out $100+ poorer. Anytime I've come in with questions not only have they been so nice about answering and helping, but they always offer to let me try products. I always ask for their recommendation for a blush or lip color they think would look good, etc. They have helped me pick a shampoo and conditioner I now love. I went in once needing a new curling tool for my hair and the girl that helped me not only showed me all my options but she sat me down in a salon chair and showed me exactly how to use the tool I was purchasing. Even if they don't have what I'm looking for, which they usually do, someone always helps me find something that will work just as good or even better! They also have a great return policy- buy it, try it, hate it, return it. Which I appreciate. I really can't say enough good things about Ulta, particularly this location. read more

This review is mainly about Ulta in general. I tried to pay my credit card through the app and it was down so I called customer service and they said there would be a 9 dollar fee to pay with a customer service agent. That is ridiculous, but I was like I need to pay so I wont be late. I paid the balance in full and my bank account showed it was paid twice. Tried to call Ulta again and they are now not answering. I tried for three days. I guess my only option is to call my bank and say the second transaction was fraud. I am not sure what else to do. "Ulta"mately I think Ulta sucks in regards to how their business is run. Good products but shitty customer service. read more

Had an appointment for a hair cut today with Camille. All employees I came in contact with were friendly and accommodating. They were also all wearing face coverings, which I appreciated. My hair was very long and over-grown due in part to the lockdown. I have extremely curly hair, which not everyone knows how to cut, but I have to say that Camille did a great job! She gave me the best haircut I've had in years, was super sweet, and just a real delight. I would highly recommend making an appointment with Camille. You will not be disappointed! read more

I had bad experience in that location , i never expect this , the employee should work on the attitude alot ! I ask for help nobody help and they dont have any idea what there job , they just want to get money , I went ther the forst time they gave me attitude i thought they are having bad day ! My husband went to return a brush for me , the girl she was working on the register she was really giving my husband a bad attitude, and i send 2 of my employee to bring some stuff from ulta store in 800$ , the manager she is blondy , she worked today before 2 pm , she give them really bad attitude, we are really nice people , but they aren't hepfull , unfortunately we love ulta , but ill never visit this location anymore !! It's a new Ulta in a very old mall, but it is trying to upgrade to a higher end customer. The store and salon look new (because it is), but they have the same old (dirty, soapless, running water) bathroom. I don't think this is the mall's fault, the store should take care of this issue. read more

I made a hair appointment for 11 o'clock. Came and the hairstylist said it will be a 10/15 minute wait (with no apology) then 15 minutes passed and another 15 and I left at 11:30. The hairstylist was doing some ones make up. I wouldn't mind a call asking if I can come at 12 instead of 11 instead of making me wait there like a idiot. Will never be back. read more

I ran in to Ulta on a snowy Christmas morning, as did many other shoppers looking for that last-minute gift. It was there I met "Amy" and immediately struck up a conversation about the best fragrance for our college-graduate son. She had some great ideas of course, she was doing her job. But it was the way she expressed herself, she really wanted to make sure I found the right fragrance. She asked me questions I wouldn't even think to ask...in the end she recommended something for our son. I didn't even think twice, I already trusted her judgment. So now it's time to check out, and Grace was equally pleasant and professional, and even though she also was likely exhausted even though it was early in the morning, you couldn't tell. Fast forward to Christmas morning, we were so happy when we learned he loved the gift! I have access to Amazon, Sephora, and a few other Ulta locations, but given the friendly advice I received from Amy and Grace at this Ulta store in Golf Mill, I won't go anywhere else for my beauty needs!
