I first heard of Skinflection from my friend who had Amara as her laser technician. When she showed me her results, I was sold! I went into laser with so many insecurities and discomfort because I was scared of the pain and because it was my first time getting a procedure of that sort. Amara is hands down the best! Her schedule is booked for months for a reason. Her clients want her and her only! She is professional but so easy to communicate with since each session is an hour-long. She constantly checked in with me to make sure my pain was as low as possible. For my first session she did a consultation to let me know what to expect, the timeline, prices point, pros, cons, facts, myths, maintenance, and more. After a few sessions, things became routine and I know exactly what to expect. My results: My results were almost immediate. After my first laser, my hair grew back patchy but the growth was so slow compared to before laser. After each session, my hair keeps growing at a slower pace but also thinner. You have to shave the night before laser for optimal results. Because of laser, my shaving time has cut down 75% or more! Also, the irritation from shaving has reduced by a lot. Bonus: Hyper-pigmentation has reduced as well! Environment: Very clean, organized, modern, luxurious feel! Other staff: Super friendly staff! They are so flexible and are willing to work around your schedule! Amara even stayed late one day to accommodate my last minute travel situation. Facial experience: I have done 1 facial with Skinflection Niles! It was very relaxing, warm, and honestly, I almost fell asleep. The products they used for my facial was of high quality. Other pros: I love that they schedule sessions in advance and send out email reminders for each scheduled session AND they call you the day before to confirm the appointment so that you don't have to deal with late charges and to accommodate last-minute changes. The prices are very fair compared to other laser salons. If you take advantage of their packages and sales, you can save even more. I ended up purchases my 12 laser sessions and 4 bridal facial sessions through sale packages! They also have a salon in Lincolnwood (for those near Chicago) but Niles is closer to me! I've been going to the location in Lincoln wood for a year now! I started this journey with Marian who's the main aesthetician. Probably one of the best choices I have made. So to begin with I have really nasty scaring on my face and I had dark spots all over my shoulders and down my back. Only after 4 sessions with a back facial and chemical peel, Marian was able to clear up my back scaring. From a scale to 1-10, my back went from being from 10 the worst to 2. Currently I have maybe a spot or two. That does not stop me from feeling confident. I used to avoid tank tops despite the weather. Marian really helped me build my confidence back. I was really hesitant to try laser hair removal for the first time. Previously I have only waxed/shaved. I went in for a Consultation with the laser tech Ruba and she was so amazing! From the start, she made me feel super comfortable and thoroughly explained the process, procedures, and what to expect. I'm so glad I came here! It has changed my life I love coming to this location. Everyone is so nice, and I have developed an amazing relationship with my esthetician, Evan is amazing. The hair on my face has held me back from feeling confidence in my self. And Evan has given me the confidence to put my hair up in a ponytail. And to be confident with out makeup. I never thought about doing hair removal on my body until I went to skinflection and met Evan.
