Omg it's been a year since last time I reviewed?!? Everything I said a year ago still holds true till today. The only thing I wanted to add is shoutout to Ashley and Maybelline for being some OUTSTANDING nurses and laser techs. I mean seriously, they make me feel so dang comfortable in my sessions and are just so approachable and helpful. It's staff like Ashley and Maybelline that make me wanna keep going back to this business! The place is still super clean and luxe with great parking out in front. I've seen this Laseraway get busier over the years, too, with new customers. Good for them! Still recommending Laseraway for laser hair removal - it's been working wonders for me!! Get your laser hair removal done at Laseraway; trust me, it's life changing. read more

I paid 3.5k for 8 sessions for underarms, legs and Brazilian. Extremely ripped off as I was 18 and stupid when i bought the package and I still have a ton of hair. Literally do not go here they overcharge you extremely read more

Laseraway will just hand you from nurse to nurse during your treatments. The first question each new nurse will ask will be "what are your goals?" They never look at charts or do any preparation for the session. Same generic 30 seconds of asking things they should have been prepared for. When I challenged them on results they change the subject to another treatment or additional sessions. This is a chain franchise with people who don't care about your results (just selling you more services for more $$$). Find a business that will care for your results and a nurse that will work with you from beginning to end. All the good reviews on here are incentivized, see for yourself. read more

LaserAway - Medical Spas Near Me - Northbrook, Illinois

They are truly awful. Their good reviews are all fake. They give the customers discounts to say nice things then hide the negative reviews on Google. They use high pressure sales tactics to sell very expensive packages telling clients to put it on their credit cards or take out financing with them. The sales managers are greedy scammers they brow beat their staff to get sales no matter what. Then they take the commission from them. They have no business running a service based business they have no people skills, and don't care at all about the customers or their staff. Avoid them like the plaque this place won't last all they are doing is generating bad karma. read more

This place is such a rip off. Overpriced and under delivers. Probably why they do big time advertisements but never show prices like competitors. I set up a consult call for their version of Morpheus. I've done 3 treatments in the past and liked it, so I figured I'd give this place a try. Once on the phone, I could tell the company was only interested in making money. They sent me about 29 text messages from different people asking if I wanted to schedule a consult or if I had any questions, and sent me a "how was your call text" all within the 6 hour window before my actual call took place, that I scheduled online. Can you say disorganized? Day of the call: The young lady on the other end of the call knew absolutely nothing about the treatment and immediately skipped over the treatment info to offer me packages. One treatment is $1000. That pretty much ended the call for me. I pay $1800 for 3 sessions at my high end Medspa, I'll stay with them. At the end of the pricing explanation, I shared my surprise at the prices and without hesitation the girl replied, "okay well let us know if you have any other questions." No rebuttle- just the expected response and disconnect. They know they're overpriced too. read more

I purchased Botox packages from this place, more affordable prices, here than other places, I have gone Botox in the past. I appreciate that I can make appointments and reschedule my appointments through text messages and I don't have to continuously call and be on hold And everybody that works are always so friendly and kind and helpful read more

I had a phone consultation. The consultant was very nice and provided answers to my questions. I became leery when I was told I needed to pay a significant amount of money in order to book an appointment having never seen the location nor given any information about the service providers credentials. I learned that phone consultants are paid on commission, which explains why they want payment in full or minimum half of the total service fee to be rendered prior to stepping foot in their brick & mortar stores. It's no wonder they rank 2.9/ 5 stars for employee comp on Glassdoor. Didn't know commission based sweat shops were still a thing. How very 1980's sales mod of CEO Scott Heckmann. Does he get paid on commission? lol... read more

Excellent customer service all round from check-in to check-out. Ashley is personable and communicative with every aspect of the treatment. I get warm welcomes and appointments set with no problem. I'm updated with any services/treatments that could help maintain what I've already gotten done. 10/10. Thanks for a great experience!! read more

My experience for facial hair removal for less than stellar. I would say go elsewhere. Felt rushed and had a different person each time that did it different. Don't see the results. Front desk is pushy on up selling. read more

Great experiences so far! I've had about 4 sessions for removing my finger tattoos. The appointment booking process and every session thus far has been smooth. Definitely painful and I don't think the numbing cream does much, but it's been working. They offer an ice pack and cryotherapy to help with pain management which I think helps more than the numbing cream. I'd recommend waiting a good amount of time between sessions because they do fade significantly on their own between sessions. They had a deal going on at the time of purchase a pack of sessions so I took advantage of that. They're pretty comparable to other places around. It's expensive, but worth it if you really want your tattoo gone. I should've listened to my mother in the first place read more

I wasn't very pleased specially because the service is expensive.. The nuse who injected me was very sweet however one of the front receptionist kept pushing me to book a service for laser and when I said no she wasn't too happy.. read more

Highly recommend this location, I started off with tattoo removal with Nurse Chantal and let me tell you she is AMAZING! Nurse Chantal makes sure you are comfortable during the entire process (she stops to ask if I'm okay and if I need a break) she is gentle, kind, and attentive. Sumra is THAT GIRL! She sold me on doing hair removal and I will never pick up a razor again. Sumra is polite, always smiles, and just has such a positive vibe. Definitely check out this location and ask for these two beautiful ladies! read more

Really great experience every time! The office is clean and beautiful, the entire staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming.

I purchased a hair removal package (full face/underarm/legs/Brazilian) in late 2019 and completed my package mid 2021. Loved it. Had great success, only very very fine hairs came back that are super manageable. Now I purchased another package for the 12 treatments of the clear and brilliant to address my terrible acne scars from adolescence. On treatment 4 and the results are def. noticeable, so I'm looking forward to 6, 9 and 12! read more

I went to LaserWay for a clear and brilliant, didn't know what to expect but Irene and the nurse Jazzy explained what to expect during treatment and how to deal with my skin for the aftercare. Before my appointment today I got a phone call from the finance department her name is Brianna, stating that I was given the incorrect treatment according to the package I had purchased back in May and that if I wanted to continue with the same treatment that I was receving I needed to upgrade my package and pay $300 more, what I don't understand is how they can make the mistake twice in two different facilities. About the treatment I received today I'll give nurse Vanesa a 5 star she was very professional and patient, she help me a lot with how to manage my pain, because I had purchased the numbing cream package but they don't give you enough and I was able to feel the pain. Thanks to Vanesa I was able to relax. read more

As I was searching online, I came across LaserAway and noticed an incredible promotion they had going on. It was almost too good to be true! I made my first appointment and I was pleasantly surprised. I had a representative call me and help me book an appointment and I also had a nurse call me as well to go over my medical history and any questions I may have had. It was very professional! The experience was excellent. Every single staff member was pleasant and very helpful. My nurse was informative and made me feel very comfortable during my procedure and the results were JUST what so wanted. I also had questions on their promotions and deals and the staff went above and beyond to let me know everything I needed to know without me feeling pressured into buying anything. I would definitely recommend! read more

I've booked my first appointment for laser hair removal, and can't wait to see how this experience goes! So far I can say the consultation and booking process has been exceptional. I was connected with a treatment specialist, Kelly, via a zoom meeting who discussed pricing/financing, treatment options, what to expect, and even who Laser Away was and why they would be a good option. She was professional, friendly, and made me feel comfortable talking about a subject I'm usually insecure talking about. Although we went through a couple of treatment plans, she was respectful of my decision, and wasn't pushy about adding on other treatment areas I was initially open to. Pricing was broken down in a very organized manner during our call as well. She was also very responsive via text to answer any questions I left out on our call. I appreciate the customer service Kelly provided, and anticipate the same energy on my upcoming appointment! (: Follow up review to come. read more
