**Please read** If you're considering service with LaserAway - here's what you should know before you sign up. You will be working with a predatory practice. A simple google search of LaserAway lawsuits can be helpful to understand context. - What you are told verbally will be later denied. This includes the ability of being able to cancel/refund appropriately. It also includes any promise of results, which they are not obligated to honor. Sales associates will turn to verbal communication as they know they can't put what they say in writing. - Everything they offer is part of a special package. Nobody realistically pays their normal rates, it's a series of never-ending promotions that are recycled, and they will pretend you have a limited time to sign (you obviously don't, this in itself is a deceptive marketing tactic). If you aren't happy with your service or need to cancel, they will use separate "non-prorated" rates (which no one uses) that are 3-5x times what you paid to then offset any money they owe you. - Positive reviews you see on sites like Google are incentivized - The business will not operate with things you expect from a normal business - sales associates with available email addresses, clear management structure, etc. This minimizes your ability to work with them. Sales are run and handled offsite and it's common to be bounced around from offsite locations to physical locations. - You will be passed from person to person on your visits with highly aggressive upsell tactics and because of lack of experience, your skin will be prone to burning, etc. Emphasis on person as you can look at their job openings - "no prior experience is required". Anyone off the street could be performing your treatment. Bottomline: As soon as you decide to give them money, you won't see it back if anything were to happen. This is critical to know. There are more reputable establishments you can visit (e.g., dermatologist office) and I highly, highly recommend you do so, it is so easy and can be cheaper, or you will learn this after the fact if you aren't satisfied with your treatment. read more

UPDATE (07/29/21) I had my second visit at Laser Away in Northbrook with Nurse Vanesa. Once again I had a great visit! I was greeted by Leila and Brianna, they're very sweet and friendly! Vanesa was expecting me and waiting for me at the lobby, She immediately attended to me. Today I went in for lip fillers and as always she was ready and prepared. She consulted with me to get the results of my desires. She explained to me the processes and walked me through it. Nurse Vanesa shows that she cares and makes every visit easy and pain free. I love my results and enjoy how she noted how she's enhancing my beauty and not altering my appearance. I love how full and hydrated my lips look! I'm really happy theirs no bruising or soreness. They're big and juicy just like I wanted!! I can't wait for my visit again! I had such a pleasant experience at Laser Away, here in Northbrook. After my previous visit to Bucktown, Vanesa informed me about their new location and I love it! They have a beautiful lobby with an elegant set up for their grand opening. Immediately as I walk in I received a warm welcome from Brianna and Leila. They both helped me and were SUPER SWEET at the front desk. This place is amazing! Today I had the pleasure to be in the hands of RN Vanesa. She's very detailed oriented, making your experience a smooth transition. She makes you even more excited for the results. I absolutely loved my laser hair and tattoo removal experiences with LaserAway, and am honestly sad that I didn't find them sooner. I have had 3 sessions so far, one at their River North location and two at their Northbrook location, and every time was a pleasant experience. My first visit was with Nurse Nadia at River North after purchasing their promotional package (legs, Brazilian, and underarms) . The facility was clean, the front desk very friendly, and the wait time was only a few minutes. Nadia was super sweet, attentive, and did a fantastic job, which was what prompted me to upgrade my package to full body + lip & chin, while also adding tattoo removal. My second visit was at the Northbrook location (which was more convenient for me location-wise). Again, clean facility, friendly and attentive staff, and virtually no wait time. Nurse Stephanie did my upper body hair removal and tattoo removal, and was also super sweet. She was easy to talk to, did an excellent job, and gave me really good tips about after care for the tattoo removal. My third visit was with Nurse Vanessa, who was also sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable, providing more useful tips and information. She also did an excellent job my entire lower body. For all 3 visits, the staff made me feel welcome, comfortable, and answered any and all questions that I had. 100% Highly recommended!!! My results from my first time had me in tears. I have struggled with thick corse dark long hair everywhere you can think of. My hair is so thick it pokes me sometimes so at first I was a little skeptical on top of being afraid of the pain. I didn't think anything could help me as I have tried several different things to no avail. I figured Hey, I will give it a try again. If you are self conscious in ANY WAY, don't worry about that at this location I felt more comfortable here than I did at the doctors office. Was it painful, Yes!! Was it bearable, Yes!! For me, most of all it was Worth every ounce of pain and I would endure it over and over again if it mean getting my confidence back. The pain isn't as bad as people make it I could bare it perfectly fine even though I Jerked every time lol!! I had the pleasure of working with Anahi & Brianna and Hope to work with them on my next visit. I have also decided to get my whole body done, yes! it's they do full body (A heaven send) . I just had my first visit to LaserAway to get lip fillers done by the amazing nurse Vanesa. As soon as I first walked in, I was greeted so warmly by Leila and Brianna. They were so friendly and helpful. Vanesa quickly came to get me and lead me to the room. This was my first time getting filler, so I was a little nervous, but Vanesa was very professional which helped calm any nerves I had. She answered all the questions I had. She also explained what I could expect, and post-care instructions. I love how she likes to take a conservative approach to enhance natural beauty. This is exactly what I was looking for! As she got started, she explained exactly what she was doing and where she was going to inject. Vanesa did an amazing job and I can tell how much she loves the work she does. WARNING! You will become addicted to this place! I started my treatments at the Laser Away in Bucktown and was treated by Nurse Vanesa and Stephanie. It was my first time trying Botox, fillers and laser hair removal and now I regret not starting sooner! As a woman of color, I appreciate how Laser Away individualizes the treatments for each of their patients. I was always scared of trying LHR due to the scary stories I have heard and seen of people getting burnt but the nurses ensured my safety and comfort. It was a very pleasant experience and so far my results have been nothing less than fantastic. Both my Botox and fillers came out super natural but absolutely fabulous. I followed RN Vanesa to Northbrook because of my results and because it is closer to home in the suburbs and parking is super easy. Ladies, I don't write many reviews on places. If you want to treat yourself and feel like the amazing woman you are.... no better place to go! The staff is amazing and supportive, make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in! The place is spotless! Young or feel young, I'm in the later category... about to hit 50 years old. I can't believe I waited this long to treat myself! I was a little nervous going in... they made those nerves go away immediately and that I belonged there! To be clear I am no model! I am going through the Brazilian laser treatment, doesn't even hurt and takes less than 5 minutes. They spend more time making sure you are comfortable and understand the procedure then the 5 minutes to get it done. I went for it and started cool sculpting. She is phenomenal, her delivery of patient care is exceptional, not only is she compassionate, but she shows interest in the level of care she is providing and was funny, knowledgeable and remained professional. I never had an experience like this! So thank you for taking my anxiety away from me and using the cooling spray and ice on my areas of treatment! Laser away is truly 5-stars. I eagerly awaited their opening in my location after researching what they offered. They offer Botox, facials, laser (obvi) and many other options. What I loved about LaserAway was the ease of making an appointment, having the virtual consultation and the professional and friendly outcome. They had appointments straight away and even re-arranged my appointment at the last minute due to a work commitment-they were so understanding! The staff at LaserAway were so nice and friendly I felt like I was with friends. LOVE LOVE LOVE this LaserAway Location! Parking is super easy, the store is immaculate and the staff is super friendly. They even took me in early when I showed up ridiculously early. Elizabeth D completed my IPL upper back treatment, and she was so informative and talked me through everything. I felt like she really knew the treatment settings and safety all throughout. She had suggestions for me to get the most out of my treatments as well. Elizabeth also did a phenomenal job with my Xeomen injections. This was the first time I had a "Lip Flip" and she made it as painless as it could be and my lips look amaze. I can't tell you enough about Laseraway! From the amazing front desk girls to the experienced laser technicians. I have always felt so taken care of and comfortable when I go do my laser hair removal and clear and brilliant session. The girls are so polite and I am loving my results. I had done laser hair removal before using a IPL laser and my results were not great plus the procedure was so slow and painful. I'm getting laser hair removal done on my face and so far I've been loving their service. It's so quick and hassle free. You just show up 10 minutes before your appointment, zap zap zap, and in 10 minutes you're all done and good to go. I'm so glad they opened a location in Northbrook. I had to travel all the way to downtown for my first few appointments and that was a struggle. This is a lot more convenient for me and it's a really warm and inviting ambiance. I'm saying "adios" to unwanted hair and wrinkles all thanks to Nurse Vanesa. Vanesa took care of me for both my laser hair removal sessions and my Xeomin treatments. She is very warm and comforting and answered any questions I had to ease my mind. I was scared laser hair removal would be painful but it was very quick and easy.
