Huge scar on my face and lumps where fat was transferred were hard to accept but the numb parts of my face and the loss of normal mobility with my eyelid are hard to comprehend. Additionally, the doctor didn't mention the possibility of losing normal eyelid function with my surgery and when I questioned his suggestion for fat graft he minimized my concerns. I was worried about asymmetry and that's what resulted with my surgery. I didn't want the fat graft but the doctor suggested it again and offered it at no charge, huge mistake! Lastly, I went for a cheek-lift and was given a printout for pre and post-op instructions for a facelift since they didn't have one for cheek-lift to give me. I had a very, very good consultation with Dr. Epstein for an upper and possibly lower blepharoplasty. I have had a previous plastic surgery nightmare concerning my rhinoplasty and then revision with another doctor, so I feel I know a good one when I see one. Dr. Epstein was extremely thorough and spent ONE WHOLE HOUR explaining the procedure in detail and answered all my questions before I could even ask. He was fantastic! He also has a patient coordinator Jill Pearlman who is equally fantastic. They didn't pressure or coerce me or patronize me in any way. I was very, very impressed! The only thing holding me back right now is shitty Bidenomics! It's sad to see how the economy is affecting everything right now, but I will get this done with Dr. Epstein as soon as I can. I had my lips done in this ordination two months ago and I was very happy with results so I decided to do 1 mml more. I made appointment, first available was for today at 8 AM, had to fill out everything online before I came in, which was the same questioner like before. I came in, the lady asked me for my vaccination card. I gave it to her, she looked at me and said "Oh, you're not fully vaccinated, I don't know if you can stay here, you just have J&J shot"! Wow! Nobody told me that I have to be fully vaccinated or I need negative PCR test, which I would brought!!! She came back with Dr. Epstein who told me that he is sorry! OMG!!! I had to drive for half an hour and to get up early and they told me I can't stay! And the lady told me that in order to do my lips I have to put my mask down (OH, REALLY?! I didn't know that!). I mean, she has her mask on and plus she is fully vaccinated and she is still afraid for her life! Then, stop working! Don't go out of your house if that's the case, bc, I have news for you, fully vaccinated people still get the covid and transmit it!!! I am so disappointed, this is not the way how you treat your customers!! Plus, first time, only 2 months ago, nobody asked me for vaccination card! What is the difference now?! I had PCR test last week for another treatment and if they asked me to do one for this appointment I would do it with no problem!! But coming at 8am for appointment to hear that I can not stay in the office was not pleasant! Degree means nothing, they don't know how to treat customers and how to run business!! I am not writing this for free treatment, I told that in the Dr's face! I don't need free stuff! I came to do my treatment and pay for it!!! I first visited MAE Plastic Surgery because my face had significant redness from 10+ years ago. Immediately upon examining my face, Editya Mitera identified the redness as acne scarring and recommended a few treatments of fractora. While it is not inexpensive it was definitely worth it. My skin has not been better since I was 15 years old (before I had acne), and now I am 28. I have done just two treatments and the redness has already been reduced by at least 70%. I don't even have to wear makeup anymore, and that was never an option in the past. In addition, Editya has recommended great products for my face (moisturizer, SPF, cleanser) that result in zero breakouts. I would not recommend this place. They charge more because they are suppose to be more experienced. I can only speak for Maureen. May as well just thrown $500 into the wind as I looked the same before and after Restylane Defyne to even out lips and erase lines above lips. Had to go back twice to have her squeeze liquid building up which was making my lip sore. Since the moment I met Dr. Gutowski, I had a wonderful feeling of comfort. As a matter of fact, when I was inquiring about a consultation with his office, he emailed me personally within one hour of submitting my request. This already had left an impression on me without even consulting with him. Then, the day of the consultation, he had a gentle and warm smile that made me feel at ease and very comfortable with him. I left his office feeling less scared and nervous about the procedure because he explained the entire process with calmness, a sincere tone, and he used state-of-the art equipment to show me what I would look like with the implants of my choice. He also answered all of my questions I had that day. He is genuine and honest. He was the only doctor out of five that I consulted with that actually took measurements properly during the consultation and gave me his best professional opinion on what could be done realistically without increasing my risks of a breast augmentation. He used a variety of tools to measure my breasts and wrote the measurements down unlike other doctors that just looked at me and estimated! One doctor just looked at me and practically laughed and said no more than 180CC because my breasts were too small to begin with. At MAE plastic surgery they used top-notch equipment to show you what a certain size implant would look like. His staff were also very, very friendly. Each time I went in I was greeted nicely and they were always on time! The actual procedure was cake and their nurse Erin is amazing as well! They really do take care of you and accommodate you. Worse Experience with Epstein i schedule surgery in 2016 unfortunate I got bad news I am sick and I can't go thru surgery . I have to cancel do to illness. I go back to Epstein in 2017 since he has my money I already pay for surgery long time ago I ask for rescheduled my surgery he refused me like his patient plus he charge me 3500 for year ago cancelation . This office is the worse experience I have with doctors in my life they never explain to me any of the cancellation policy the contract I signed I am supposed pay only 1000 if i cancel I newer gonna forget what they told me when I say this is the way you guys treat people answer whose we are run the business here . Nice they don't care about nothing only Money . So they stole 3500 from the money I pay for my surgery . I can not say enough amazing things about Dr. Epstein. From the moment he walks into the room you feel at ease. From the beginning I knew he was the one. In my consultation he went over everything. He took about 30 minutes and explained the whole process of why things work better this way and they don't work so good another way. How the surgery goes from first cut to last stitch.
