The reception staff is incredibly rude, unfriendly and unprofessional. I will not be back and would caution anyone else to look elsewhere.

I have gone to several of the different derick dermatology locations in the Chicagoland area and it's always been a good experience.

Years ago my aunt from Australia came to visit and I never realized how nice and bright her lips…read morewere. I complimented her on the fullness and brightness of her lips, and that's when she stated to me that she had a lips tattooed.... Immediately after, I knew I would have to get mine tattoo/tinted because how good it looked. I was very hesitant on where to go because this is permanent, and its on my face.. FINALLY after looking for the right person, I found Robyn at Ink & Arch, and I am SO glad I did. Robyns work is so beyond what this review can describe. From the moment I walked into her studio I felt like I made the right decision. She took her time penciling out my lip line before she got started tattooing. The lining was clean and accurate, she checked in with me the whole time to make sure how I felt about it. She did great penciling out my lips so I trusted her to proceed. We looked at colors, which she has very many of and I chose a pinkish/light red color (mixed two colors together) After the tattoo processing began, I was nervous naturally and of course it hurt just a bit but this is all expected. Robyn checked on me throughout the whole appointment to make sure I was ok! Upon completion, Robyn pulled up a mirror to my lips, I was in complete shock-- I absolutely LOVED my lips, the lining was FLAWLESS. I honestly couldn't believe how great my lips looked. The best feeling is waking up in the morning and looking lively because of my lips. I have received tons of compliments on my lips, sometimes I want to play it off like its my natural lip but I cannot because that means I wouldn't be able to rave about Robyn work. If you have the slightest inclining that you want to do it, just book, she will not disappoint! Ps- PRIOR to my appointment with Robyn, I was planning on getting fillers after my lips healed from the tattoo. I no longer needed to do that because the color added so much fullness and boldness to my lips so I decided to skip out on the fillers. I am so happy with my decision! (Lips tattooed June/21, Still very pleased with the results)

After one treatment I was surprised by the T-Sculpt treatment from Loli. This is a new form of…read moretightening and firming treatment, so I have it done on my face and it feels like a massage. I haven't seen any other spas in the area offer this. Loli said it takes a few sessions to see it start to work, but after the first session I already noticed that my forehead and eyes looked smoother and fuller. After the 2nd treatment, when I look in the mirror, I feel like I am looking at pictures from 5 years ago, so I am super excited to see the results as I have more treatments. Totally worth it if you really want to have a long lasting difference. I highly recommend. Loli really knows the method and explains everything - it's a calming experience, too!

My mom and I had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience at Belleza Medspa. We were…read moreoriginally at Eddie's Hair Salon and asked about facials, and they referred us to Belleza through the connecting doorway. Once inside, instead of being offered facials, the saleswoman immediately began a sales pitch for treatments costing $500+. When we explained we only wanted facials, she told us "we do not do facials" and kept pushing other services. We eventually agreed to one treatment, but before we could even finish filling out our forms, she abruptly asked for our credit card to process payment in advance. This was alarming--most reputable spas and salons only charge after the service has been completed. My 72-year-old mom and I felt pressured, uncomfortable, and distrusted, so we politely declined, explained to her our concern and left and also shared our experience with the ladies at Eddies Salon. A week later, when I returned to Eddie's for my mom's hair and makeup appointment, we were treated very differently than in the past--cold, unfriendly, no smiles. It was clear they were unhappy with us for not agreeing to Belleza's hard-sell tactics. This is not how clients should ever be treated. A salon/spa experience should feel welcoming, transparent, and respectful--not pressured, awkward, or judgmental.

The whole operation seemed like a cash grab. First time I've been to a doctors office and felt more…read morelike I was at a car dealership to buy a car and the salesman was ready to start upselling the options. They gave the impression they were most interested in how much money they could get out of you. The first form they give you is just a menu of other services they offer that you may be interested in. I was only interested in treating the eczema on my hands which is the purpose of my visit. Once I was in the exam room the doctor looked at me for all of 90 seconds, recommended some hand cream (that they sold in the office. More on that in a min.) They also proposed a shot to help healing and the itch. It was not until after the shot that they asked me to sign that I understand the potential risk of the shot. It should have been on the practice to inform a patient of any potential risk prior to administering anything. Back to the hand cream. At checkout they pull a $60 bottle of hand cream out of the cabinet. When I ask them to put it through to my insurance like the visit they said I can do it myself but it would be pointless because they wouldn't pay for it. I asked them to call in something equivalent to the pharmacy, which they did, because my insurance covers prescriptions. It ended up costing $2.80 It's surprising they didn't have credit card scanners in the exam rooms... you know for the convenience of the patient.

I chose this place because of its relatively good rate. However, I am very disappointed with the…read moreexperience. I traveled from another city to this clinic, but the appointment only lasted for 2 minutes. I am really concerned about having got a vitiligo, but the doctor (Dr. Brodsky) did not mention the option of testing it, even I am right at the clinic. Instead she only gave me some facial products and an ointment. The products really sting my eyes and my face starts to peel after applying them twice. But due to the pandemic, those products cannot be returned (which I understand). But the ointment is not effective at all - my symptom is worse. The white patches on my face keep growing and my eyelashes are becoming white. However, I have to pay for everything they gave me and the appointment. Again the experience really upsets me, and I would not recommend the Derm.
